    Tropes of Doc Bio
  • The Anti-Nihilist: pretty much the point of the aforementioned webcomic is this. part of why is because i am one.
  • Author Avatar: green paint slime dude in a top hat and suit. always a dumbass gonk, only ever appealing in a deflated puppy sorta way, real big sadistic jackass

    Tropes of the Bio Library
  • Bright Is Not Good: The Fae usually depict themselves in bright, vibrant colors, but are an ancient evil that has perpetually made the existence of mortals far harder.
  • Cannibalism Superpower: Female Bubblies can bite male Bubblies to become Bubblynks, as the male's intelligence disappears and its body merges with the female's, resulting in a snake-like creature.
  • Creation Myth: Through the Dream Beasts, the Hearts of Creation and the Birth of Being, entire worlds can be made by Dreamers.
  • Dark Is Evil: Zigzagged. The Void is heroic, but the Infernal Realm is Always Chaotic Evil.
  • Don't Fear the Reaper: The Void stylizes themself as a Grim Reaper-like figure, but they're gentle and calm. The entire point of their "Ten Days rule" is to give people leeway to wrap things up before the end.
  • Expy: Unintentionally, the Void is a bit similar to Discworld's Death, although in a much more down-to-earth attitude that emphasizes guidance and kindness.
  • Our Gods Are Different: There are a few different varieties of deity in the Bio Library-verse; the most powerful are the Titans, but they almost never act. Below them are the Dreamers, the physical incarnations of the realms, such as the Void or Safer. Subverted with the Illusion Gods, as they don't have any real divine power and are just reflections of mortalkind's religious beliefs.
  • Power of the Void: The strongest active character in the entire comic is the Void.
  • Sentient Cosmic Force: The Void is the "place that is not," but can manifest outside of their domain through their avatar. Outside of the Cycle, which is intrinsically connected to the Void, however, they are far weaker.
  • Your Mind Makes It Real: Mortalkind somehow managed to manifest the Illusion Gods despite having no Dreaming power, simply through being such a common belief across the Cycle. That said, the Illusions are still just reflections of belief and not the gods that mortalkind see them as.
  • Yowies and Bunyips and Drop Bears, Oh My: Bubblies are a more cutesy take on Bunyips, as their biggest strength is misdirecting people through their appearance contrasting to their actual behaviour. It becomes more obvious with the Bubblynk and Prismeel, who are visibly vicious and can use light to camoflage themselves.
