It suggest she has possibly a mental disease that affects stress.

* KnifeNut: She's a (as some of the fanfic's first arc chapters show up) unstable but ultimately benevolent child and in the chapters "Clay-Heads", "Hallowater", "Nightbandits" and "Sailor Solar System Planets and Satellites", she arms herself with knives.

* ExhaustedEyeBags: She already had big and black ones before "Friendship Ever After: A Doll Musical", but in that chapter, it ends up being taken UpToEleven.

* NiceHat: Her hat is a yellow and white sunhat with a yellow buttercup flower on the center, which she gained after losing her original, green one for the Slendytubbies.

* NiceHat: She has a purple baseball cap hat.

* CoolHat: Wears a picture hat at the beginning of "The Woman-Pearlian Candidate" to serve as her "ticket" to compete for the presidency.

* IKnowYoureInThereSomewhereFight: Chara has to fight a BrainwashedAndCrazy Frisk on Friskworld to convince her to go back to reality. She ultimately wins, and gives a WorldOfCardboardSpeech that frees Frisk.

Pearl Crystal[[spoiler:/Scarlet]] Dreemurr is Chara and Frisk's [[CoolOldLady lovable and motherly]] con-woman (and occasionally ballet dancer) great aunt. She runs the Crystal Shack, a tourist trap full of false attractions. At first, it looks like she is just unaware of the town's weirdness as much as everyone else, but sometime later, her nieces learn she is much more capable than she seems.
