* CanonImmigrant: He's a newcomer to the original Red Lotus group.

* {{Hellhound}}: Houndoom have demon-like horns and tails, and Hewie is no different.

* FreudianExcuse: The reason why Chloe never asks for anything or keeps saying "No" is due to how she once wanted to go to a softball camp in Celadon which her father promised. But when he had to rescind it to go to a conference and he bumbled on how it wasn't necessary ''now'', that crushed her and she became withdrawn soon thereafter.

* HopeIsScary: She is afraid of putting trust in people, particularly adults, because every single one promised told her that things "will get better". But they didn't and the adults never even thought to be concerned about her but were rather focused on Pokémon or that she'll get ''into'' it. Fittingly, her favorite demon is Marchosias, who is usually described in wishing to return to heaven "but has been deceived of that hope". Thanks to Augustine's promise to be there for her, she's learning to let go of this trope.

* ItsAllMyFault: After Goh chews her out for not saying what was wrong with her, she breaks down and believes that everything that happened is her fault because of who she is, and because she's not who's she "supposed" to be. It takes Goh to help reassure her that wasn't the case and that he also should've paid more attention to what was going on.

* ConditionedToAcceptHorror: She's so used to the bullying and no one coming to help her that not only can she list everything that her class did to her, but she tells Asher to just speak whatever insult comes to mind. This horrifies the Persona more than anything else.

* DrivenToSuicide: Admits to Sycamore that she's had thoughts like this due to high expectations placed on her and the pain of bullying. Parker has to learn that his sister's poem about becoming Icarus was symbolizing this wish, not just wanting to fly away from her troubles.

* TheFashionista: Zigzagged; she's into fashion but rather it's for Lexi's outfits instead of her own. She apparently has made numerous outfits inspired by the ''Ars Goetia'' demons for him to try on her Create-a-Crush app. Asher requests to have her make an outfit for him and she becomes enamored when he brings up the "Poe Ballroom Car" to her.
* FatalFlaw: Fear; she's afraid of going back home because of how things play out should she return and of being told that she's worthless since she's not what society thinks she should be, which also feeds into her anger and spite. However, Atticus and Lexi help her point out that sometimes what she fears isn't as big as they are and she needs to know that there are people who truly want what's best for her. Augustine vowing to make a promise to be by her side is enough to slowly break out of this.

* FieryRedhead: She has long red hair and a very fiery personality as Gloria points out.

* GamerGirl: Aside from wanting to play ''Silent Hill'', she names a Mirage Houndoom that becomes fond of her "Hewie" from ''VideoGame/HauntingGround.''

* StoryBreakerPower: Chloe's cloak is much more powerful here, especially since she can see into the soul of a person ''outside of a Train''. In the Elephant Teapot Car, both Yuri and Amelia ban her from using it until they figure out the mystery behind it and everyone else drags her away before she uses it on Larkspur.

* AdaptationalBadass: While he does get into big scrapes of his own, he never ultimately ends a final blow on a boss, leaving that to either Chloe or Lexi. The Windchasers see a video of him in the Joyville Car helping save Chloe and Lexi through his own use of his size, speed and fangs.

* WeakButSkilled: He's only "weak" due to the fact that he's a corgi compared to the other bipedal members of the Red Lotus Uprising. But weak is not the same as ''useless'' as he can use his size and agility to weave through most obstacles and he's also a strategiest.

** Chloe has less spite and anger problems like her original counterpart and her flaws are focused on her fears of returning home than wanting catharsis. She also is a BrokenBird who is essentially bitter of how the bullying has made her unable to have hope in adults, and Goh, because they never noticed she was secretly wishing to kill herself.

** Amelia becomes much more proactive and protective of Hazel, expresses much more guilt for her actions than in ''Blossoming Trail'' and she's willing to indulge in karaoke.

* RoyalsWhoActuallyDoSomething: He's a prince and he's off on a sacred duty to stop the Apex.[[note]]Lexi was never called this in ''Blossoming Trail''. It was a retcon from ''Fanfic/InfinityTrainBoilingPoint'' and its prequel where Chloe originally called Lexi a spoiled prince -- Exotos thought Chloe was literal -- and it was later changed so that he and his father were royalty.[[/note]]

A 60-year-old engineer who serves One-One and the Conductor whom the Apex worships.

** Amelia becomes much more proactive and protective of Hazel and expresses much more guilt for her actions than in ''Blossoming Trail''.

* DoubleStandard: [[spoiler:She gets to atone for her sins even though it's her fault that a lot of passengers and denizens were lost about the train's purpose and she indirectly created the Apex. But three members of White Gestalt (all men) got kicked out when they nearly destroyed the Train trying to ''stop'' the Apex.]]

** She is '''horrified'' at learning the story of what happened to poor Earth.[[note]]He was captured, vivisected with a laser while crying out he was human and lost his memories ''one by one'' all for the sake for money and analyzing his structure[[/note]]

* FemalesAreMoreInnocent: No, she is not. She wasn't part of White Gestalt's schemes but she ''still'' was responsible for 30 years of chaos and the creation of the Apex, as evident by her large number.

* FlowersOfFeminity: The focus flower is the lotus and its leader and founder is the female Chloe Cerise.

* AdaptationalContextChange: Her ImportantHaircut. In ''Blossoming Trail'', it was based off a desperate move to avoid being killed during The Dead Carnival Car. In here, she does it in a relatively safe environment in order to go "F You" to the Cage of Flauros.

* BulliedIntoDepression: Thoroughly bullied by her own class and ignored by her sole ChildhoodFriend and her parents that she's withdrawn, afraid of hoping, and somewhat cynical, already expecting Asher to make a comment about her being a "monster lover".

* CompositeCharacter: While she's mostly inspired by Robin Goodfellowe, she also share traits with Mebh Óg [=MacTíre= too, being that she's a SignificantGreenEyedRedhead whose wolf form is a bright red wolf with traits of a StepfordSmiler in her.

* PipePain: Her WeaponOfChoice is a rusty L-bend steel pipe (or "donut holer") gifted to her by Randall.

* AgeLift: ''Blossoming Trail'' Lexi was somewhere around his teens but he's somewhere around Chloe's age range this time around.

** After the Ninjala Car, he has to switch to a new outfit based on the Ars Goetia demon Seere -- a knight who rides a winged horse -- so he's no longer confusing others for Specter.

* EveryoneHasStandards: She doesn't mince words that she's disgusted with Kisaragi's actions (namely brainwashing a child to be the White Rabbit and his 52-man militia on the Apex).

* CrazyPrepared: She made numerous outfits for Lexi (all of them based on demons) should he ever want to change his wardrobe. This comes in handy when Asher wants a new outfit for himself in the Fashion Runway Car.

* {{Expy}}: Has the appearance of [[Anime/YuGiOhVRAINS Specter]] (due to Green Phantom Queen's love of him and an in-joke of how she said Specter is a more noble character than Simon) to the point that the Windchasers mistake the Knight of the Hanoi the one copying Lexi instead of vice versa. Of course this gets the attention of Easter who assumes Lexi's copying Specter.

* MysticalWhiteHair: His hair is white both to reflect that he's made of paper and the basis of his "appearance".

* VagueAge: While it's hard to determine his age (Which was roughly in his teens in ''Blossoming Trail''), he acts to a boy around Chloe's age.

* KarmaHoudini: A weird case. [[spoiler:While she's exempt from being kicked out of the Train when White Gestalt's plan went off the rails, she gets away with her atrocities for uprooting One-One from his role, 30 years of destruction so she can have her happy life with Alrick and indirectly creating the Apex except for her ridiculously high number. Amelia herself is not amused about it in the slightest.]]

* AdaptationNameChange: The group went by "Red Lotus Trio" for the majority of ''Blossoming Trail''. While it's initially the same case here, they eventually adopt the name "Red Lotus Uprising" after the events of the Ninjala Car.

** Amelia is a combination of Sabnok and Malthas, the latter based off a crow.

* RagtagBunchOfMisfits: A girl with a pipe, a talking dog, a flying book dressed as a Yu-Gi-Oh! character, a senior engineer and a mirage version of a {{Hellhound}}.

* CrazyPrepared: She made numerous outfits for Lexi (all of them based on demons) should he ever want to change his wardrobe.

* ImportantHaircut: Cuts off her braid in front of Kisaragi as proof that she seriously wants him to [[spoiler:take Hazel and Tuba far away from Grace and Simon]]
* InSpiteOfANail: Despite the location and characters around her being different, Amelia discovers Hazel in much the same way she did in ''Blossoming Trail'': by looking at her alongside the Apex leaders on a screen, and recognizing the "number" on her palm.
