* YouGottaHaveBlueHair: One of the very few characters with an unnatural hair color - flashbacks of her childhood reveals that, yes, blue is her natural hair color.

* GrumpyOldMan: He has a very gruff demeanor and he complains how the current Organization under Wilder has changed from when the Professor lead it. When Wilder's Suits refuse to chase the heroes into the Casterwill Caves due to the superstitions surrounding the caves, he grumbles about how "in [his] day, cowards like [them] would never have been allowed in the Organization."

* PowerfulbutIncompetent: He really is a Master Seeker and is fully capable of using powerful spells and Titans. This is, however, undercut by his cocky demeanor which leads him to let his guard down easy and make bad decisions (typically by overestimating himself).

The Willblade itself can only be used by the true of heart to prevent it being used by evil. So he has Demigorgan take the form of Eathon's holotome, knowing that the Huntik Foundation will not ignore such a valuable find after defeating the Professor when investigating his castle. After that, he would play as a QuestGiver by disguising as Eathon when they talk to the real one, learning his voice and appearance. After faking Nostradamus' prophecies to give them Umbra and Phoenix so that he would get them to the Spiral Mark, he would pull the rug under the heroes by changing the final action needed, tricking Lok into stabbing the Spiral Mark with the Willblade, breaking Lord Casterwill's seal. He pulls this off without a hitch. This results in the Red Comet changing course to the now-active Spiral Mark in which the impact will destroy the heroes along with their Huntik and Casterwill allies in one fell swoop while calling down the Nullifiers. It took Dante's sacrifice to stop the Red Comet and even then, the Betrayer just powered up the Spiral Mark himself as shown in the last scene of Season 2.]]

[[spoiler:His "fight" with Lok and Sophie is practically a one-sided beatdown and he can summon '''four''' Legendary Titans at once ''along with his own normal Titans'', who are also powerful in their own right ''without breaking a sweat''. To put this in perspective, just summoning ''one or two'' Legendary Titans is enough to exhaust the best Seekers. The only other Seeker in history implied to have reached this feat is ''[[GreaterScopeParagon Lord Casterwill]]''. The only reason he lost was due to a betrayal he didn't see coming.]]

* BigBad: Of Season 2. Rassimov is the one giving the most orders but the Betrayer is the true leader of the Bloodspirals. He even changed Nostradamus' prophecies so that Huntik could spark the signal for the Nullifiers.

* CombatPragmatist: When he fights Lok and Den in the Professor's castle, he takes them by surprise. First, he knocks out Lok (the more experienced of the two) with a spell InTheBack. He then averts TalkingIsAFreeAction by knocking Den's amulet out of his hand before he can summon a Titan.

* SmugSnake: In every one of his appearances, his ego shines brighter than an attack spell, which is likely due to hit him any second.

* AdvertisedExtra: Despite being advertised in the show's poster and being prominently featured in the first season's opening credits, he only appears as an antagonist for 8 episodes before being KilledOffForReal by Grier.

* SignatureMon: Anubian in Season 1, [[spoiler:Legion, the Legendary Titan of War in Season 2]].

* EvilOldFolks: He has an appearance of an icredibly old man with an overly long beard.

* SignatureMon: Demigorgon, the Legendary Titan of Betrayal.

* QualityOverQuantity: Whereas most of the Organization's higher-up have at least a half-dozen EliteMooks working under them, the Professor only has these two acting as his personal agents. These two are also easily the most powerful Suits in the entire Organization.

* HumiliationConga: He fails numerous missions in a row, gets made a fool of by Dante Vale, and is reduced to a glorified "delivery boy". When he sets out to take his revenge on Dante Vale, Dante easily beats him, Lok blasts him in the ass with a Raypulse spell, he gets all his Titans (including Kreutalk and Garghoul) stolen from him, his men lose what little respect they had left for him, and his ExitVillainStageLeft consists of him throwing a temper tantrum while getting carried away by Grier in a manner resembling a parent punishing a disobedient child.

* BadassLongcoat: Not him personally, but his {{Mooks}} all wear dark trenchcoats as opposed to the BadassSuit preferred by most of the Organization's agents.

* NotSoHarmlessVillain: While he’s clearly in way over his head against the likes of Rassimov, he’s still a dangerous Seeker who has bested the main heroes on more than one occassion.

* SignatureMove: His signature move is using one hand to perform Kindlestrike spell and using the other to perform Sunlock simultaneously. The Sunlock spell is incapacitates his opponent while the Kindlestrike spell then finishes them off shortly afterwards.
