* KickTheDog: Subverted: her first interaction with John involves using her psychic powers to cruelly and heart-wrenchingly yank him away from a heartfelt and long-overdue reunion with Dad. Accidentally, yes, but it looks like a textbook case of Vriska RUINING EVERYTHING, until she opens her STINKING LYING MOUTH and...helpfully points out that Jade's been about to get flattened by a big honking meteor since the end of Act 4, and John kind of needs to save her right away.
** And then she proceeds to be helpful, friendly, and informative for a while without any cruelty or backstabbing or villainy at ''all,'' and gets a large handful of humanizing moments in the process.

And this was no accident, Vriska wanted to ensure that Bec Noir came into existence in order to prove her worth by killing Bec Noir herself.]]

Terezi then orchestrates a [[TheWatcher near-omnipotent man living on the moon]] into [[{{Gorn}} blowing up one of Vriska's eyes and her arm.]] Vriska then, through ''double-proxy'', manipulates Terezi into staring into the BLISTERING ALTERNIAN SUN and going ''blind.'']]
