!!The Player Characters

[[folder:Cam]]
'''Cam Arune Buckland''' (Played by: [[LetsPlay/HatFilms Chris Trott]])
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/cam_icon.png]]
->'''Race:''' Human (Lightborn)
->'''Class:''' Cleric/Rogue

Abandoned in the forest as a baby, Cam was adopted and raised by the Bucklands, a travelling troupe of entertainers. Despite his [[TheTrickster Trickster tendencies]], he is a friendly and light-hearted individual who ultimately means well, even if his antics tend to annoy his fellow party members.
----
* BadassCape: Wears one that matches his [[BadassesWearBandanas Badass Bandana]].
* BiTheWay: Is bisexual, judging from Trott's "Cam swings all ways".
* BringMyBrownPants: Cam pisses himself while exploring the underground cave. The dryad Gulthia later has [[ItMakesSenseInContext flowers grow out of his crotch to absorb the moisture]].
* CarpetOfVirility: Boasts this quite proudly, judging from his open shirt.
* CasanovaWannabe: A flirter by nature, albeit not a very effective one; so far, the only character to have responded positively to his antics is Dahnna, a blacksmith (and she never actually spoke with him).
* CuttingCorners: Even when the group is flush he still tends to pinch every copper.
* GagPenis: Cam's drawn with an impressive "package" (Mark jokes that he just pads it with each level up). [[SugarWiki/FunnyMoments 100% confirmed after Trott rolls a natural twenty on a penis size check]].
* GroinAttack: Executes these twice in Episode 2. Both times, it's the final strike that defeats the opponent.
* HappilyAdopted: Was raised lovingly by the Bucklands, [[spoiler:though Mirela's murder might have thrown a wrench in that. His hallucination in Episode 6 seems to imply that Cam fears they'll disown him for it]].
* HappilyMarried: [[spoiler:With Mirela.]]
* HealingHands: Can heal others by touching them and casting Healing Word. It is noted that Cam doesn't actually have to touch people to use said spell, he just enjoys doing so, much to Jiǔtóu's displeasure. It’s a running gag that he almost never has the actual healing hands spell, Cure Wounds prepared.
* HeroicBSOD: [[spoiler: After killing Dimitri and losing his connection with Avandra]]
* ICallItVera: Has several named daggers; Duracell, Elfy, and Nimbus.
* KnifeNut: Has had an interest in daggers since he was young, and carries a host of them on his person to use in combat.
* LastChanceHitPoint: Whatever mysterious power Cam possesses, it manifests itself as this in Episodes 5 and 6, allowing him to survive blows that should have been deadly with just one hit point left. It also [[PowerGlows makes his hair glow with a golden light]].
* LovableCoward: Cam is ''very'' eager to let the others lead while they're exploring the ancient elven temple. The following exchange occurs between him and Jiǔtóu when the group is faced with their first combat encounter:
-->'''Cam:''' You guys go ahead. I'm just... warming up my daggers.
-->'''Jiǔtóu:''' They're so tiny.
-->'''Cam:''' It's how you use 'em.
-->'''Jiǔtóu:''' You're currently ''not'' using them.
* {{Narcissist}}: The amount of times he's asked somebody how he looks borders on RunningGag at this point. He also tends to check himself out when using Duplicity, which creates a physical copy of him.
* TheNicknamer: He's showing shades of this, coming up with "Tommy" for Tomas, the caravan master, and "G Unit" for Gulthia, a dryad. Hilariously, the former refuses, but the latter graciously accepts, even if she is somewhat puzzled by it. He also nicknames Trellimar "Trellibelli".
* NiceJobBreakingItHero: [[spoiler: Through a series of errors and misunderstandings he winds up burning down Dimitri's store and killing him]]
* NotQuiteHuman: [[spoiler:Master Guan Yin calls Cam "a vessel for Pelor's Light", though what this means is not yet clear]].
* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: When [[spoiler:Jiutou is killed]] the joking facade falls away completely and he becomes completely focused [[spoiler: getting her resurrected]].
* SadClown: As revealed on Caffcast's recap stream, Cam's wit and cockiness is a persona he has crafted to mask his fears and insecurities.
* SupportPartyMember: The group’s main healer.
* TragicKeepsake: One of the daggers in Cam's possession was hand-crafted and gifted to him on his 18th birthday by Mirela, his childhood friend [[spoiler:who ended up dying in mysterious circumstances. He later sacrifices the trinket to contribute to Jiǔtóu's resurrection]].
* TheTrickster: Since he's a trickster cleric this is actually part of his ''religion''.
* WeaponOfChoice: When in battle, Cam primarily uses Nimbus.
* WhatTheHellHero: Gets this [[spoiler: after killing Dimitri]] from his ''goddess'' no less.
* WeakButSkilled: As a trickster cleric/rogue, he doesn’t possesses as much raw power as Elora or Cassandra, but he makes up for it by being a clever fighter who fights from the back with throwing knives and spells.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Jiǔtóu]]
'''Jiǔtóu Zhìjī Jīng''' (Played by: LetsPlay/KimRichards)
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/jiutou_icon.png]]
->'''Race:''' Tiefling
->'''Class:''' Monk

Captured during a dragonborn raid, Jiǔtóu was made a slave and suffered cruel treatment for several years, but eventually escaped. A desire to free her kind from enslavement was born, and she set out towards Talis'val with this sole purpose in mind. Although Jiǔtóu fares well in combat, she has little patience for small talk and gets aggravated easily by Cam's more whimsical nature.
----
* ActionGirl: Cements herself as this during the first combat encounter, leaping into the fray without hesitation. She takes out two enemies largely by herself, while her teammates work together to defeat a third.
* BackFromTheDead: [[spoiler:After falling in battle in Episode 6, Jiǔtóu's body is brought to the fey spirit Cenaria, who asks the other party members to aid a local elven spire in return. Upon the completion of this task, she resurrects Jiǔtóu; though the ritual does bring the tiefling back to life, she physically regresses back to around 15-years-old]].
* BeautyMark: Much like Kim, she has one near her upper lip.
* BiTheWay: Crushes on Korak, [[spoiler:but is revealed to have a girlfriend late into the series.]]
* TheBigGuy: Despite being the smallest and weakest of the group, Juito’s agreesive nature and skill in battle puts her firmly in this role.
* BladeOnAStick: You don't want to be on the business end of her guandao, that's for sure.
* CatchPhrase:
-->'''Cam:''' (''does something weird'')
-->'''Jiǔtóu:''' ...[[CatchPhrase Is that a human thing?]]
* DarkAndTroubledPast: Witnessing her parents' murder and being enslaved for many years goes a long way towards explaining her cold attitude.
* DeathGlare: Probably her default expression when dealing with Cam. Trell is also on the receiving end of one of these in Episode 5 after attacking an enemy dog that Jiǔtóu was trying to calm down.
* FlowerInHerHair: She's got two red ones, not unlike [[LetsPlay/FluxBuddies Nanosounds]], another character of Kim's.
* FragileSpeedster: By far the most mobile member of the party, but also possesses the least health. Invoked by Kim when she takes [[FragileSpeedster Air]] stance over [[MightyGlacier Earth]] specifically to have more options for running away. Mark explicitly states that Juito’s best defense is not being hit.
* GlassCannon: Can deal even more damage than [[LightningBruiser Elora]], but has the least health in the party.
* HatesBeingTouched: Reacts rather poorly to Cam's Healing Word.
* HornedHumanoid: Due to her ancient ancestors having made pacts with demons for power. Like other tieflings, Jiǔtóu's horns were blunted during her enslavement by the dragonborn, though they regrew after she escaped.
* IOweYouMyLife: [[spoiler: After she's resurrected through the combined efforts of Cam, Elora and Trell, Jiǔtóu pledges to stand by them, as she feels there's no other way she can repay this favour]].
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Jiǔtóu's no-nonsense attitude and tendency to either blatantly ignore people or address them by race can make her come off as quite abbrasive and insensitive. However, she is also very respectful whenever she is dealing with something spiritual and is very determined to liberate as many Tieflings as she can. In Episode 4, she makes an attempt at bonding with the other party members, since it's Tiefling Festival (an equivalent to Chinese New Year) and she misses her family. It's the first time she tries addressing both Elora and Trellimar by name, and also gifts them a golden coin, [[https://twitter.com/nanosounds/status/696438004026646528 which signifies her "wish for kinship and need for family"]].
* KillItWithFire: Jiǔtóu shows a penchant for this even before [[spoiler:learning how to manipulate fire]], having used torches against enemies on several occasions.
* LastNameBasis: Tells Cam to call her Jīng, but since it's Cam, it doesn't really stick.
* MadeASlave: Enslaved when she was only six years old, but managed to escape after seven years of servitude.
* MaliciousMisnaming: She consistently refuses to get Reynard's name right, calling him Raymond instead.
* NoSenseOfHumor: Guaranteed to scowl at Cam's jokes. In Episode 4, she denies knowing what sarcasm is ([[BlatantLies despite making a sarcastic comment only seconds before]]).
* PlayingWithFire: [[spoiler:After training under Master Guan Yin in the arboreal plane, she gains this ability]].
* PrehensileTail: Dextrous enough with it to retrieve her weapon and pull it through a wall of razorvine, though it does get cut up a little.
* {{Revenge}}: Jiǔtóu's journey is as much about freeing tieflings as it is about [[spoiler:avenging her parents by killing their murderer, Korak, the champion of the Dawn Republic]].
* TheStoic: If she's not angry with you, she'll be this. As a result, she can be quite brusque in her interactions with others.
* UnstoppableRage: [[spoiler:In Episode 6, she emerges from the hag's illusion, where she witnessed the death of her parents, with a murderous scream, [[BerserkerTears crying]] as she prepares to attack the hag. However, Vixanis takes out the hag before Jiǔtóu can get to her, causing the tiefling to storm out in frustration. It takes... quite a while for her to run out of steam. This happens again when she encounters Adrik/Korak. Mark even temporarily gives her reckless attack.]].
* WarriorMonk: Became this after receiving training at an elven monastery for roughly seven years.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Elora]]
'''Elora Galanodel''' (played by Katie Morrison)
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/elora_icon.png]]
->'''Race:''' High elf
->'''Class:''' {{Druid}}

Belonging to the Spire of the Moon, Elora was raised in happiness until she and her kin were forced to retreat to the Feywild after the Lightfall, leaving Arrak to be rebuilt by others. When her spire returned, she decided to head out and find out what happened to the other spires, hoping to reunite them. Earnest, chatty and kind, Elora is more than a little idealistic, which could backfire on her.
----
* {{Adorkable}}: A characteristic she shares with her player.
* AllLovingHero: Easily the nicest and kindest of the group.
* AmazonianBeauty: In the vault of the ancient mage asylum near Veldebann, she finds a magic belt made by frost giant shieldmaidens that automatically turns any woman who wears it into a strong, tall, long-haired beauty. In wearing it, her elf form becomes almost as strong as any of her wildshape forms, firmly cementing her as the toughest member of the party.
* {{Animorphism}}: Her Wild Shape ability, which allows her to transform into a dire wolf and bear.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: Is quickly approaching Franchise/DisneyPrincess levels of kindness and innocence (she {{squee}}d hardcore over Trellimar's baby dragon), but in her dire wolf and bear forms, she will rip enemies to shreds without batting an eye.
* BigDamnHeroes:
** Comes to Trellimar's rescue in Episode 3, managing to ''pull'' him through a window, and away from an attacking will-o'-wisp, despite her short stature and low strength stat.
** Tries this again in Episode 6 with [[spoiler:Jiǔtóu, but this time, she simply isn't fast enough. By the time she's morphed into a dire wolf and dragged her heavily injured teammate away from two animated sets of armour, Jiǔtóu has breathed her last and all Elora can do is carry her dead body to town as fast as possible]].
* GreenThumb: She is able to manipulate vines to entangle enemies. [[MundaneUtility And create flowers as gifts]].
* HealingHands: Can use Cure Wounds to heal others.
* InformedFlaw: Even though Katie often cites naivety as Elora's biggest flaw when describing her, how naive the character is more or less depends on the dice rolls.
* LightIsGood: A number of her abilities are tied to moonlight, particularly her powerful Moon Bow and the devastating Moonbeam, but as a high-level druid she also has access to the similarly powerful Sunbeam, [[spoiler: which she uses to obliterate the vampire lord Keran Blackhearth.]]
* LightningBruiser: The Strongest member of the party overall, will the highest strength (once she gets Ivor’Skalr) and most health. With her elemental shape shifting and powerful spells, she can border on game breaker at points.
* [[NiceGuy Nice Girl]]: The most outwardly friendly of the team.
* PointyEars: Comes with the territory of being an elf.
* Really700YearsOld: Looks to be in her twenties, but she's actually 113 years old, according to Katie's character sheet.
* SignatureMove: Moonbeam is Elora’s go-to combat spell.
* SimpleStaff: Carries one of these around, along with her bow and arrows.
* SpeaksFluentAnimal: Thanks to her [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin Talk With Animals]] spell.
* TomboyPrincess: As the daughter of her spire's leader, Elora is nobility, but doesn't really act like it. In her youth, she was often late and dirty due to exploring the forests, to the consternation of her parents. Other elves have questioned this attitude, but Elora's own people never really had a problem with it.
* YouGottaHaveBlueHair: She's got bluish-purple RapunzelHair. Carries over into her animal forms as bluish-purple fur.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Trell]]
'''Trellimar "Trell" Aleath''' (Played by: Matthew Toffolo)
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/trellimar_icon.png]]
->'''Race:''' Drow
->'''Class:''' Warlock

Trellimar lived in the Underdark, until an attack on his home forced him to make a pact with an entity of sorts. Driven to the surface, he is now looking for an artifact in the old city beneath Talis'val. Although his obscure past and quiet nature lend him an air of mystery, he is quite affable, and even a bit dorky at times.
----
* BadassInDistress: As the group's GlassCannon, he regularly ends up as this - Trell can dish out a lot of damage (provided he hits), but is also the one who goes down the quickest (and he has gone down ''a lot''). Thankfully, both Elora and Cam are usually quick to heal him.
* BadassLongcoat: WordOfStPaul says - nay, [[InsistentTerminology insists]] - it's an Inverness cape.
* DealWithTheDevil: Is implied to have made one of these to survive an attack on his home, the Underdark.
* TheGadfly: Has a blast messing with people while disguised.
* HandBlast: His go-to attack, the Eldritch Blast, which has him fire a powerful bolt of purple energy from his hand.
* HearingVoices: The entity Trellimar is bound to occasionally manifests itself as voice inside his head. While they are capable of giving benevolent advice, they can also shout orders until Trellimar obeys.
* HeroicSacrifice: [[spoiler:Pulls a fatal one during the battle of Talis’Val.]]
* PointyEars: Comes with the territory of being a drow.
* Really700YearsOld: Much like Elora, Trell is quite a bit older than he looks, being 110 years old.
* PutOnTheBus: Leaves the group after episode 36.
* SignatureMove: Eldritch Blast, Hellish Rebuke. Later on, finger of death.
* SkunkStripe: [[InvertedTrope Inverted]]. Trellimar has white hair with a streak of black, rather than the traditional skunk stripe.
* StickyFingers: A mild example, but both times he was in an ancient elven temple, he nicked something shiny. In general, he's quite money-oriented and can get protective of items he perceives to be his, like the Rope of Climbing he and Torwen had a bit of a spat over.
* {{Telepathy}}: One of his skills, allowing him to converse with a [[TheSpeechless mute]] in Tallfield. It should be noted that Trell cannot yet 'read' minds, only speak with them.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Reynard]]
'''Reynard Ferehorn''' (Played by: Tom Hazell)
->'''Race''': Human
->'''Class''': Ranger

Reynard was a master hunter who was hired by Korak to aid the party in freeing the dwarven town of Velderbann. He wields a powerful special-made crossbow and a magic sword, and is capable of using them to deadly effect. Shortly after he joins them, however, the party discover that he is not quite what he claims.

* ActionHero: He is a very crafty and deadly fighter once he puts his mind to actually trying, quick to take advantage of the environment, his various hunting tools, and even the other party members to maximize his movement and lethality.
** GuileHero: Add to that his natural charisma and talent for spinning tales, and it's not hard to see how he managed to built up such a name for himself before meeting the party.
* AmazonChaser: He's visibly infatuated by Grunka, a tough-as-nails half-orc with barbarian tendencies.
* BiggusDickus: After hearing about Cam's Natural 20, Tom takes his turn rolling to decide penis size... and rolls Reynard a Natural 19.
* FakeUltimateHero: [[spoiler: He claims to be a greatly renowned beast hunter, like his uncle before him, but before they even reach Velderbann Jiǔtóu and Elora realize just how incompetent, and more importantly, how much of a glory hog he is. After some admonishment from everyone and [[HeelFaithTurn discovering the word of Bahamut]], however, he starts beginning to earn the title he has claimed for himself.]]
* FriendlySniper: A rather nice guy, once you get to know him, and quite deadly with Wilhelm.
* GloryHound: In his first fight alongside the party, despite the fact that Jiǔtóu and Elora did the vast majority of damage against the beast, he did technically kill it, and claimed all of the credit thusly. [[spoiler: Once they discover that he's made a habit of doing this before, they make it in no way unclear that they will ''not'' put up with him if he continues to do so.]]
* MilesGloriosus: [[ZigzaggingTrope Ziggzaged]]. After hearing about Reynard's hunting prowess, Jiǔtóu and Elora quickly come a across a chance to have him prove himself to them, and discover [[spoiler: what a blubbering idiot he is in the midst of combat. He's flashy, and loud, and almost drowns, and despite ''only'' dealing the killing blow immediately claims all the credit to the people they were protecting. He has to beg them to not tell Korak that he lied about his feats, and they tell him anyways. That said, he does have ''some'' genuine skill, he just doesn't know how to apply it yet, and as he journeys with the group starts learning how to use his actual skills in creative and lethal (to the group's enemies) ways.]]
* TookALevelInBadass: [[spoiler: Once he stops fabricating stories about his achievements and starts spending more time with the group, it is clear that Reynard is actually a ''very'' skilled fighter once he gets into the groove with actual adventuring, being in possession of some absolutely unreal stats.]]
* UnresolvedSexualTension: He and Grunka are obviously interested in each other but neither will admit it.
* WellDoneSonGuy: He wanted to be a great hunter because his uncle was one, and in his quest to live up to his family name he got a bit carried away in how he told his stories...

[[/folder]]

[[folder:Auzrah]]
'''Auzrah''' (Played by: Rhiannon Gower)
->'''Race:''' Human
->'''Class:''' Warlock (Former Cleric/fighter)

A cleric of the Raven Queen, followed by four undead warriors, joining the other heroes on their quest to [[spoiler:rescue to rescue Trellimar from his infernal contract]]. She is Rhiannon's character for Lightfall: Descent because she didn't join the show until after the first campaign ended.

* {{BFS}}: She carries an ōdachi (a giant katana) called the Nine Lives Stealer that can literally tear souls from its target's bodies.
* CainAndAbel: Auzrah and her sister got in a fight which ended with her killing her sister. In her grief she then first found solace in the Raven Queen.
* CreepyGood [=/=] DarkIsNotEvil [=/=] UncannyValleyGirl: She wears all black, is followed by four walking skeletons, and worships the Forgotten Realms' goddess of death. On top of that she's also [[DissonantSerenity strangely cheerful and serene]]. But she's here to help the heroes save their friend from the Nine Hells.
* DemBones: She's a necromancer cleric with four undead skeletons following her around at all times.
* DontFearTheReaper: As a cleric of a goddess of death, one of her duties is taking care of the recently deceased.
* DueToTheDead: She gets ''very'' upset when Cam tries to wash his shit-stained trousers in the River Styx, which holds the souls of the dead.
* HorsemenOfTheApocalypse: The skeletons that follow her are named Pestilence, War, Famine, and Conquest.
* NightmareFetishist: When she hears the wails of the dead coming from the River Styx, she treats it like sweet birdsong. As a powerful cleric of the Goddess of Death, it's only natural.
* PerkyGoth: She wears all black and thick black makeup but her personality is as bright is a ray of sunshine.
* RavenHairIvorySkin: Black hair with blue highlights, and very pale skin.

[[/folder]]

!![=NPCs=]

[[folder:Korak/[[spoiler: Adrik]]]]
''Korak, Champion of the Dawn Republic'''
-> '''Race''': Dragonborn
-> '''Class''': Fighter/Paladin

A red-and-gold dragonborn paladin, Korak was instrumental in the founding of the Dawn Republic. As such, everyone views him a tireless warrior who fights for justice. Everyone, that is, except for Jiǔtóu...

* BrokenAce: As he shows in his fight when he appears, he's definitely earned his title as champion. [[spoiler:He honestly doesn't feel worthy of it, and tried very hard to put his family's actions behind him. Jiǔtóu showing up brought all of that back, with the pain and guilt to go with it.]]
* CainAndAbel: [[spoiler:He's the Abel, and really is a noble paladin. His twin brother, on the other hand, is a rage-filled murderer, having killed several other dragonborn, Jiǔtóu's parents, and who knows who else.]]
* DarkAndTroubledPast: [[spoiler:His father enslaved and abused his mother, and later him, all before framing him for his twin brother's acts of rage and murder.]]
* ImpersonatingTheEvilTwin: [[spoiler:He took up the name of his twin Korak because his real name meant "weakness" in their native tongue, and he didn't want to be called that. Of course, he had no way of taking into account a certain vengeful tiefling once he became famous.]]
* TheParagon: Ultimately, this is what he seeks to be, wanting to eventually step aside and let the guilds of Talis'val take over leading the city.
* WalkingSpoiler: Since who he is and what he did plays a huge role in Jiǔtóu's backstory.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Cassandra]]
'''Cassandra'''
->'''Race:''' Human (Lightborn)
->'''Class:''' Paladin

The leader of the Paladins of Talis’Val, and a good friend of the main cast, especially Cam.

* TheBigGuy: Often serves as muscle.
* DeadpanSnarker: Often jabs back and forth with Cam.
* HairOfGoldHeartOfGold: She’s blond, and quite heroic.
* HealingHands: As a paladin, she can heal with a touch.
* HeroesPreferSwords: One of the most heroic characters in the series, and prefers a two-handed greatsword as her primary weapon.
* KnightInShiningArmor: A heroic, brave, and kind paladin of Bahamut.
* ThePaladin: Obviously.
* TheMentor: Ocasionally acts as one to Cam, and becomes a proper one to [[spoiler: Adrik/Korak when he becomes a paladin.]]
* LightEmUp: It comes with being a Paladin, as well as a lightborn.
* RunningGag: Cassandra has a tendency to end up in situations where her opponents are out of reach of her sword, and lacks ranged weaponry to deal with them. [[spoiler:While never elaborated upon, this ends up being PlayedForDrama when Cassandra faces down Thunderfang alongside Sverier, where it’s implied she died due to lacking the means to properly combat him, as the dragon generally preferred to strafe his opens with lightning breath from above during the battle.]]

[[folder:Barris]]
'''Barris'''
->'''Race:''' Human
->'''Class:''' Ranger

Barris was a young town guard in Tallfield, who helped the party with their investigation, and became good friends with Cam in the short time they spent there.

* DynamicEntry: When he finally meets up with the party again, his first action is to throw a spear from maximum range, and [[spoiler: crit the dragon the group is fighting.]]
* HeroOfAnotherStory: During Jiǔtóu's solo adventure, [[spoiler:she is shown a vision of Barris gearing up for an adventure of his own, inspired by Cam and the rest of the party to become a hero. He returns 19 episodes later, having noticeably leveled up, and deals a crit and the penultimate blow against the group's first dragon.]]
* HeroicSacrifice: [[spoiler: Dies defending Talis'Val from Hobgoblins.]]
* TookALevelInBadass: In the few weeks he spent separated from the party, he managed to become a lieutenant in a town guard, learn some magic, and gain considerable muscle mass.

[[/folder]]

[[folder:Trixania]]
'''Trixania Darkmagic'''
->'''Race:''' Human
->'''Class:''' Illusionist Sorcerer

A gifted illusionist who the party crossed paths with in Talis'Val, and whom they gained the ire of after competing with their performances at the Feast of Stone.

* AntiVillain: While she definitely hates the party for their part in showing her up at the Feast of Stone, and has spent the entire time since traveling the countryside tarnishing their good name, she doesn't want any of them dead.When she learns that her perfect Cam impersonation has begun attracting various assassins trying to kill him, she puts aside her grudge and agrees to help stem the threat to both their lives.
* {{Expy}}: Mark has made no attempt to disguise the fact that Trixania is based on [[WesternAnimation.MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic the Great and Powerful Trixie Lulamoon]].
* MasterOfDisguise: Trixania's magic allows her to impersonate people's looks and voices perfectly. Her Cam impersonation is apparently so spot on ([[LargeHam or so over the top]]) that Cam's actual enemies have mistaken her for him.
* YouGottaHaveBlueHair: She has silver hair with streaks of blue in it.

'''Grunka Spiritfang'''
->'''Race:''' Half-Orc
->'''Class:''' [[InsistentTerminology Grunka]]

A half-orc soldier from Talis Val who was enslaved by the Broken Sky, who the party rescued. When she returned to Talis Val, she quit the military and started freelancing as a bodyguard, until the party requested her help tracking down Reynard's uncle.

* AmazonianBeauty: [[AmazonChaser Reynard]] certainly seems to think so. To most others, she's the BrawnHilda.
* BattleCouple: Her and Reynard, after working through their UnresolvedSexualTension.
* ChainPain / EpicFlail: When the party rescued her, she had shackles with chains enchanted to do fire and ice damage when she hit things with them. After Being freed, she kept them and had them re-forged into a pair of elemental flails.
* DropTheHammer: Gains a flaming warhammer near the end of the series.
* ExplosiveLeash: The Broken Sky originally kept her in line with a collar that would explode if she ever disobeyed an order. They actually detonated it before the party was able to get it off, and only thanks to a lot of immediate assistance was Grunka able to survive, though she did need a few weeks to recover.
* FreakinessShame: She seems to like to imply that she thinks Reynard is a deviant for being attracted to her despite her non-human features.
* GuysSmashGirlsShoot: Inverted with her and Reynard. She smashes things with her magic flails, and he shoots things with his magic crossbow.
* ViolentlyProtectiveGirlfriend: After she and Reynard officially become a BattleCouple, every fight they're in she spends the majority just placing herself between him and their enemies, and killing anything that lands a hit on him.
