* ArcherArchetype: A CombatPragmatist who is also an aloof, snarky bowman and resorts to all sorts of dirty tricks if it means protecting more people and winning the fight sooner.

* ArcherArchetype: She wields a wrist-mounted crossbow so she doesn't have to get up close to fight. She also fills the role of a snarky, pragmatic foil to Bell.

* HeroesWantRedheads: He has a crush on his Goddess, something Caster was able to pick up on when Welf requests to convert to the Hestia Familia.

* MakeMeWannaShout: As part of his dragon-like body, Sigurd is able to project his voice loud enough to knock away everyone near him while cheering his wife on at Orario's largest beauty contest. He smugly points out that this makes her the winner by default, as the rules ask for the ''[[LoopholeAbuse loudest]]'' [[LoopholeAbuse cheers]], not the ''most'' cheers.

* MundaneUtility: The might his dragon-like body affords him also lets him [[MakeMeWannaShout shout really loud]]. So when his wife arrives to participate in the biggest beauty contest in Orario, he uses his voice to utterly drown out the competition, all but winning the contest for her.

* NotSoStoic: His professionalism vanishes around Lancer, as the two of them are embarrassingly lovey-dovey in public and can't help but flirt with each other even as everyone on the street is gawking at them. When Freya convinces Lancer to enter a beauty contest to determine the most beautiful mortal woman in Orario, Saber [[MakeMeWannaShout literally knocks everyone nearby down]] with his cheers of encouragement for his wife, winning her the contest.

* GutturalGrowler: When responding to Bete's question, it's noted that he talks in a gravelly tone akin to a corpse.

* HurtingHero: Deep down inside, the death of his best friend Enkidu still haunts him, but he tries very hard to hide it. He goes so far as to declare that he never had a friend, even though he and Bell both know they had the same dream about Enkidu's death.

* ItCanThink: This is what separates them from the monsters who roam the Dungeon. They all possess human-like intelligence and are capable of human speech.

* KickTheSonOfABitch: He has done this most frequently; to the Soma Familia, Ishtar Familia and to a lesser one, Freya Familia.

* KickTheSonOfABitch: Given that Luan caused the whole War Game by CryingWolf, the Hestia Familia isn't especially concerned when [[spoiler:Jack terrorizes him and the rest of the Apollo Familia. Bell even backhands a sniveling and immobilized Luan away rather than tending to him]].

* BoobsOfSteel: She has a bust to go along with her size, [[spoiler:is the former captain of the Freya Familia]], and an ex-Level 6 Adventurer.

* SecretKeeper: Ais is the first one in her Familia to learn that most of the members of Hestia Familia are (Heroic) Spirits and keeps it a secret from the rest of her Familia [[spoiler:until they figure it out on their own]].

* ProfessionalGambler: While visiting the casino for the first time, Bell finds that his innate luck lets him easily clean house. Even after intentionally losing tens of millions to create a distraction for Syr and Ryuu, he still walks away with a mind-boggling amount of cash that makes Loki do a DoubleTake even after he splits it in half with Lefiya.

An adventurer found and picked up by Dia. After being impressed by the tales of the Hestia Familia, she joins their ranks.

* {{BFS}}: Her spear is longer than she is tall and only grows even more massive as her love for her opponent increases.
* BladeOnAStick: Brynhildr wields a spear with a heart-shaped head. Upon revealing its true name, Brynhildr Romantia, it grows in length and size proportional to how in love she is with her foe.

* BladeOnAStick: His preferred weapon is a spear.

* OurDwarvesAreAllTheSame: She's an extremely burly bartender who is a former adventurer, but at 180cm, she's taller than many female humans in the story, much less dwarves. Particularly strange given that Gareth, the other major Dwarf character, plays this straight (he's 151cm tall, or just below 5 feet. 170cm, roughly average height for a Japanese man, is explicitly noted to be tall for a dwarf, so dwarves ''are'' shorter than average.

* DudeLooksLikeALady: He's a pretty boy otherwise, but if you put him in drag, he makes a ''very'' convincing woman, much to Bell's dismay.

* StrongFamilyResemblance: In Chapter 57, Syr has Bell crossdress so as to hide him from the Ishtar Familia while they're in the Red Light District. [[spoiler:When Syr finishes his makeover, she's shocked to discover he looks incredibly similar to Alfia and Meteria, his aunt and mother respectively.]]

* SuperStrength: In terms of sheer physical might, Berserker handily outstrips everyone in the Hestia Familia with his A++ strength, making him even more powerful than the mighty Heracles. He can increase his strength even further with his Monstrous Strength, smashing through a tornado that could be breached by the attacks of a Level 6 or 7 adventurer with ease. He's even strong enough to punch a hole in a wall of Adamantite, the second strongest metal in the world.

* TookALevelInBadass: Besides the growth she's getting in the story, Chapter 41 implies [[spoiler:she will eventually achieve her dream of becoming a powerful mage and also take up the Hestia Familia captaincy after Bell's passing]].

* {{Foil}}: He is this to Berserker. Both are minotaurs that were slain by a young hero. However, while Berserker fought for survival and would like nothing more than to talk to the one who slew him, Asterius fights because he [[BloodKnight loves it]] and wants to fight the one who slew him in a rematch to the death.

* FunSize: She's short, tiny and sports a ''very'' [[GagBoobs impressive gravity-defying bust]]. This is what also earned her the nickname "Loli-Big-Boobs."
