* NiceGuy: He was pleasant and charming to Mr. Stewart when the detective visited his arcade and even offered to show him around. Even when the detective figured out what Franklin was up to, he was genuinely apologetic about the creepy arcade games, but believed it was the only way to keep children safe...

* ScareEmStraight: His main tactic of warning children, creating absolutely terrifying horror arcade games that can leave one absolutely horrified.

* FauxAffablyEvil: He seems to be pretty chipper, until you disagree with him...or give him your dog.

* HarmfulToMinors: Martin is not above killing children, or even babies. He's even transformed some of them into his monstrous toys, forcing them to live out an existence of pain. Not only that, he killed Macy's mother right in front of her, and forced the Ice Cream Man to kill Thomas in quite a violent manner, leaving a huge splatter of blood on Thomas's bed.
