* YourCheatingHeart: How Sean was born, he had an affair with an Hexenbiest and she fell pregnant. Apparently he did this several times (although Sean was the only child born).

A daemonfeuer who appears in "Plumed Serpent". She loves her father such that she would rather have him die in combat versus homeless and in bed. To this end, she lures Nick into a fight with him before faking her own death. Though she has yet to show up again, the episode strongly suggests she will.

* {{Yandere}}: Shows signs of this towards Nick, partially down to her kinds near admiration and respect for Grimms.

* TheLastOfTheseIsNotLikeTheOthers: All of the men of the Kronenberg family we've seen so far have been dark-haired middle-aged men with a love for the finer things. Kenneth is fair-haired, young, and seems much more interested in fighting than the arts.

* TheLastOfTheseIsNotLikeTheOthers: Is the latest Hexenbiest introduced on the show and the first non-white one.

* EvilRedhead: Rachel is a murderer, conspirator and a Wesen supremacist who also has long red hair.

* TheBusCameBack: He returns without warning in [[spoiler:the Season 4 finale disguised as [[BiggerBad King Frederick's]] helicopter pilot, and unbuckles the King and [[DisneyVillainDeath forces him out of the chopper]] before taking off his helmet and revealing his identity to Diana, who is also onboard.]] He also has a shadowy role regarding the events of Season 5.

* Determinator: She has spent years tracking a mysterious killer who defies everything even she knows about the world.

A wesen who is coveted by Royals, Resistance, and Grimms alike. She demonstrated incredible powers even shortly after birth. This is but one reason she is coveted.

* BadassGrandpa: He's in his sixties and dying of an unspecified illness, but still manages to kill a Verrat assassin with a sword.

* ImDyingPleaseTakeMyMacGuffin: The whole reason he came to Portland in the first place. His son is a MuggleBornOfMages, so Nick's the only other Grimm he knows of who's qualified to protect his family's [[MacGuffin key to the mysterious treasure the Royals want.]]

* BadassBaritone /EvilSoundsDeep: A very deep voice that only deepens when woged.
* BadassGrandpa: Despite being in his fifties, Samedi is more than capable of leading Nick on a spirited chase across the cargo containers, engaging him in a sword fight, and even kicking the legs out from under him. [[spoiler: A Cracher-Mortel venom-empowered Nick, along with the confines of a private jet in flight, prove way too much for Samedi, however.]]

* BadassGrandpa: Conrad is clearly somewhere in his mid-fifties, he also held his own against ''Eve'' [[spoiler:and even managed to win, fatally wounding her.]] Any questions?

* SecretKeeper: [[spoiler: She knew that her sister was still alive, and kept the secret for eighteen years.]]

While both Frederick and Kenneth were killed in the Season Four finale (with the former partially by Viktor's hand), Viktor never returned to the BigBad role.]]

* TookALevelInBadass: Was dangerous before but come Season Five [[spoiler: he's taken over as the new King of the house of Kronenberg, making him more dangerous than ever.]]
* YouHaveFailedMe: Has the incumbent head of the Verrat eaten alive by his own minions after he screws up one too many times.

* WickedCultured: Less so than Eric, however he still clearly enjoys the finer things in life, he even smokes a DistinguishedGentlemansPipe while [[spoiler: watching Meinser be tortured]].

* TortureTechnician: Bonaparte uses his vast magical powers for amongst other things, torturing people for information. When searching for the [[spoiler: volume of Grimm’s lineage]], he tortures [[spoiler: Nick]] for it’s location with a combination of extreme physical pain and [[MindRape nightmarish hallucinations of his son]] for its location.
* VillainRespect: Acknowledges he underestimated Nick, after Nick [[spoiler: singlehandedly kills Conrad’s entire army]], before immediately trying to kill him himself.

* WizardDuel: Gets into one with Eve at the Northern Precinct. [[spoiler: He wins.]]
