** Boyfriend's teamwork with Soul Boyfriend allows both together to weaken the Corruption's grasp on their head to emerge with control over their body.
** Girlfriend is freed from the Corruption, by Boyfriend confidently singing towards her and refusing to allow himself to fall for any of her illusions. Through time, the Corruption is weakened enough for it to crack and Girlfriend to be freed out of its control.
* MenActWomenAre: Boyfriend and Pico are taking active actions to rap battle against the kaiju-sized Tankman that is attacking them. Girlfriend, meanwhile, looks behind the danger and cheers for them without any worries over getting killed.
* StaringDownCthulhu: Other than Girlfriend who is looking behind Tankman and is only cheering, Boyfriend and Pico look towards Tankman to fight him head on. For whatever attacks Tankman throws, Boyfriend continuously raps in "Hivemind" and Pico does his best to fire as many bullets as he can to hurt Tankman.
* StealingTheCredit: Boyfriend, Pico, and Girlfriend believe themselves to be victorious in having killed the giant Tankman. However, the only reason they "won" the battle is because the Harvester intervened in the sidelines to obliterate Tankman. The Harvester easily took down Tankman by simply snapping their finger and the way Tankman died appeared as though the trio of survivors were the ones that won.

* AdaptationalBadass: Their original counterparts simply stay dead once Pico shoots them in the head during "Stress" from ''VideoGame/FridayNightFunkin''. However, the versions of Tankmen here are already dead, yet they are still capable of endangering Boyfriend, Pico, and Girlfriend. * AdaptedOut: Tankman was never shown to be one of the victims that the Corruption had corrupted, which could imply that he was never introduced into the game.
