In the original VX Version of the game prior to the March 2013 update, he served as the game's ultimate boss, which is fitting considering that you had to deal with many {{Eldritch Abomination}}s to get there. His moveset revolves around the SevenDeadlySins, as he uses the sins the Admins poured their sins into him to attack you. Defeating him not only unlocks the GoldenEnding, but also gives the player access to Krakenvania, which hosts fellow superboss Krakis. \\\

* {{Foreshadowing}}: He was mentioned twice outside of Botlantis prior to facing him. Light Camelslayer mentions that he encountered a goat. After defeating the chaotic influence corrupting Magnum, Vlarix mentions that a goat was controlling him.
* GoMadFromTheIsolation: While he probably wasn't all that well adjusted to begin with, being stuck in Botlantis with only {{Eldritch Abomination}}s for company did not have a good effect on his sanity.

* KnightOfCerebus: Little about the Goat is played for laughs, and even the one thing that is (him being a goat) is only really funny because Prelich or Magnum almost always reacts with what is essentially a FlatWhat Anytime a character mentions him, the game takes a sharp turn towards the serious.

* AllLowerCaseLetters: Almost all of his dialogue are in lower-cased letters. [[JustForPun Case]] in point:

* RockMeAsmodeus: Well, he ''is'' the Devil after all and rocks the [[JustForPun Hell]] out of "Beelzeboss".

Culus's moveset revolves around using slime and his own gastric fluids. Of the three Elder Evils, he is the least powerful, but he is still not something to mess around with considering that he is more powerful than the Goat of Chaos. Defeating him would grant the player the Cock of Power, a chicken that Culus couldn't digest that halves the MP cost of the person who equips it.

** In the optional DuelBoss fight, he takes on the form of [[LightNovel/FateZero Kiritsugu Emiya]]. His signature skills here are named [[LightNovel/FateZero "Mystic Code: Origin Bullet", the "Time Alter" skills]], and [[Franchise/BlazBlue "Unleashing Armagus!"]]

* BonusBoss: He can be fought in a rematch with himself and Isaac, Lord of the Ass.

* BonusBoss: He can be fought after defeating Krazier, the same man who sealed him. He is the first of many you need to beat to get the {{Golden Ending}}. Defeating him allows you to enter his continent, [[BrutalBonusLevel Bot]][[EldritchLocation lantis]].

* BonusBoss: However, you can only fight him before Camelslayer is revealed to be the BigBad.

* DevelopersForesight: Camelslayer reveals he was planning to execute him right after you kill him. Since he's a BonusBoss, you don't have to fight him. If you don't fight him and come back after Camelslayer is revealed to be the BigBad, you will find out he has been executed.

* BonusBoss: He can be fought after destroying the Ignis Insulae sigil.

* BonusBoss: He can be fought after defeating Rince by causing a fire in the inn and entering the Dyslexia Ruins.

* ShoutOut: This version of {{Satan}} is a mixture of his appearance in the ''Literature/TheDivineComedy'' where he is stuck in Lake Cocytus and the dialogue is based on "[[Film/TenaciousDInThePickofDestiny Beelzeboss]]" by Music/TenaciousD and the very same song is played in this fight. He also uses Lucifer's sprite from ''VideoGame/ShinMegamiTenseiII'' as the overworld sprite and ''VideoGame/DevilSurvivor'' as the battle sprite, where he was a notoriously difficult BonusBoss.

* BonusBoss: One of the bigger bonus bosses of the game. Unusual for this trope, defeating him is required to get the best ending.

* PrecisionFStrike: As Chaos, due to also having Camelslayer's personality, he has some strong expletives.

* SummonMagic: He is able to summon the Pikachu from the [[{{Fanfic/EasterEggSnowOnMtSilver}} Snow on Mt. Silver]] and Pinkamena from the infamous MLP fanfiction FanFic/{{Cupcakes}} as assistants during his battle. He can also summon [[Literature/NESGodzillaCreepypasta Red]] and a [[Webcomic/{{Homestuck}} Horrorterror]] prior to that.

* CloudCuckoolander: Out of the four playable characters, he is the biggest oddball. This is taken UpToEleven after his music gets rejected.

* SirSwearsALot: Granted, the Profane Dragons are species of this trope, but being their leader, [[UpToEleven he takes it even further]].

* YouGottaHaveBlueHair: His hair is purple in his sprite. Oddly, his hair is blue in official cutscene art.

This angered the Autarch of Flame and vowed to seal the fiend away in another dimension. With the help of Hades, the Autarch of Flame created "The One Beer", an alcoholic beverage so potent it can knock ''anybody'' out, including Culus himself. Both the Autarch of Flame and Hades would seal away Culus by somehow creating a dimensional rift with the German Dungeon Porn collection and would leave the beast there. Culus waits in the rift, wanting to escape and consume everything again. \\\
