Celestia says she will need to have a stern talk with the EEA about this, and that Neighsay would need to give a very heartfelt apology if he wants to keep his job and avoid being arrested. But his last scene in Season 8 is still him walking the halls with Celestia and Twilight, now expressing relief that Twilight is back and showing regret for his previous bigotry towards non-ponies.
