Her callous attitude towards others, her disdain for a normal life and ''need'' for an adrenaline rush, the fact that she murdered her friend without a second thought (who was trying to save her) and countless other heinous actions have ensured that she pretty much earned the enmity of all those around her. She is directly responsible for the Great Cataclysm that nearly destroyed the world in the series' past. * EmbodimentOfVice: According to Joker each represent an ingredient for [[spoiler: Despair]] in the Evangelist's mind. Not quite the SevenDeadlySins as they aren't limited to human emotions or desires but very similar.

She was touched by the power of the Evangelist at a young age and given the ability to read the minds of others. Unfortunately this tunes her mind into the constant horrors of the darkside of the collective unconscious of '''all''' mankind. As such she's constantly tormented by dark thoughts, which drove her to inflict pain to cope with constant mental pain.]]

* TheAssimilator: [[spoiler: Once she channels the Evangelist and "saves" Inca and Sumire, she not only reveals that their souls are in her, but that she can also use their powers, promptly using Inca's to prevent attacks and Sumire's to attack Shinra and Sho.]]

* MaddenIntoMisanthropy: [[spoiler: Her uncontrollable power to read minds drove her insane and she came to serve the Evangelist out of a desperate bid to end mankind and stop the constant suffering their dark thoughts inflicted upon her mind.]]

** She is also able to read minds. Which allow her to control a conversation by gauging audiences reactions. [[spoiler: She also uses her link to the Evangelist to show pious folks the image of their God.]]

* PsychopathicManchild: She's cruel, twisted, spiteful and very immature. Often exploding with anger and violence when her followers displease her. What we see of her room makes it out to a stereotypical fairy tale princess arrangement with some creepier elements. Like a headless bird in a cage [[spoiler: and the mind controlled 13 year old in an armchair.]] The series very much makes her out to be a SpoiledBrat with far too much power.

* TheTease: Haumea has been shown to enjoy teasing even her own allies like a spiteful version of TheGadfly, but it sometimes has a sexual undertone. [[spoiler:When she gets annoyed by Arrow's performance and the way Arrow talks back to her; Haumea tears through Arrow's cloak, grabbing her veil while groping her stomach (drawing attention to Arrow's breasts) and "massaging" her electricity. She then tosses Arrow to the floor and tells her to succeed or die.]] [[spoiler: There's also her playing with Shō like a doll and forcing Arrow to watch.]]

* BrickJoke: Shinra sees two school boys who would be Sho's age argue if getting a balloon from a mascot was lame or not. 200 chapters later [[spoiler: Sho is confused by the mascots but completely absorbed by the balloon they hand him]].

* DeadpanSnarker: After [[spoiler: leaving the White Clad]], Sho develops a very dry sense of humour. Using Severed Universe to surprise people and being very sarcastic about [[spoiler: Faerie's]] total failure.

* MysticalPregnancy: [[spoiler: Neither he nor his big brother have a father and are revealed to have been virgin births. He concludes that he is the embodiment of humanity's belief in guardian angels and his purpose is to guide his brother to victory]].

* SuperSpeed: He can travel a fair distance, calming observe someone, come to a decision and attack within the span of a second. [[spoiler: It's later revealed his speed is more due to time dilation than actual speed.]]

* TheCynic: She finds Shinra's heroism and idealism laughable. People she saves will eventually die anyway. They might even spontaneously combust immediately afterward, so why bother? [[spoiler: She comes around to it eventually, just not for the right reasons.]]

* LackOfEmpathy: Inca has no regard for anyone but herself. [[spoiler: She would burn one of her only friends to death without a second thought if her powers show the possibility. ]]

* NeverMyFault: A hallmark of her character is her avoidance of responsibility. For all her talk about her powers showing what's predetermined, she ignores the fact that she's the one who actually triggers the lines and has never considered NOT activating them. [[spoiler: When she sees the lines around her friend Panda, she nonchalantly thinks to herself that she has no choice and it is not her fault for burning hm alive.]]

* WhoWantsToLiveForever:[[spoiler:She ends up choosing to die in the end, having had enough living after witnessing two Great Cataclysms in her lifetime.]]

* EvenEvilHasStandards: [[spoiler: Arrow is disgusted by being forced to stand by and watch her commanding officer being used as Haumea's plaything. Haumea in general seems to get under Arrow's skin.]]

* EvilDuo: When paired with Haran as they cover each other's weaknesses through flawless teamwork.[[spoiler: Getting stuck with Haumea made Arrow much less capable.]]

* CallingYourAttack: Often shouts out what he is going to do before he does it. [[spoiler: It's actually part of his strategy. Distracting attention away from his true power.]]
* CombatPragmatist: Once Shinra [[spoiler: discovers the true nature about his ability, he orders his subordinates to beat him in order to accumulate more kinetic energy in order to overwhelm Shinra.]]

* UndyingLoyalty: No matter what happens or how difficult Haumea is, Charon will always protect her. This is also tied to his loyalty to the Evangelist. [[spoiler: For Haumea this is also confirmed to be an unconditional love.]]

* AchievementsInIgnorance: [[spoiler: Dragon's survival in the vacuum of space is mostly down to[[YourMindMakesItReal his connection to the Adolla allowing him to bend the rules of reality to fit his self image and understanding of what the world is]]. His supreme confidence in his own indestructibility combined with the fact Dragon doesn't know he should be dying means he's able to breath and talk just fine.]]
* AmbiguouslyHuman: Refers to himself as a dragon rather than a human. Also seemingly possesses the ability to Infernalize at will. [[spoiler: Considering he came into existence after the first Cataclysm in destroyed parts of the world, his humanity remains ambiguous at best.]]
* AnArmAndALeg: [[spoiler: Towards the end of his and Arthur's fight, Arthur manages to power himself up enough through [[YourMindMakesItReal Adolla and his self-perception]] to start hurting Dragon even through his natural toughness, eventually slicing off his left hand. Dragon responds by using the BladeBelowTheShoulder formed from his draconic armour to slice Arthur across the eye [[{{Determinator}} in nearly the same instant,]] and later returns the favour by blasting off Arthur's own left hand with his BreathWeapon.]]
* BlackKnight: [[spoiler: he eventually turns his Infernal scales into a suit of armour to battle Arthur.]]

* CurbStompBattle: His first fight with Arthur is laughably one-sided. Arthur doesn't even scratch Dragon throughout the fight, and Dragon passively damages Arthur with Dragon Scales and sends him reeling with a comparatively weak [[BreathWeapon Dragon Breath]]. [[spoiler: Dragon finishes off Arthur by activating his Infernal armor and tanking a blow from Arthur's sword, causing it to shatter and knock Arthur out with the blowback. When Company 8 tries to assist, Dragon simply fires off a Dragon Breath powerful enough that Maki is unable to control it that would've killed Company 8 if not for Iris' Grace activating.]]

* DiedHappilyEverAfter: [[spoiler: Having found solace that after centuries of living an empty and despair-filled life, his despair could - and did - end, Dragon finds hope for the first time in his life. His last words are to laud Arthur for his victory and give him his genuine thanks for meeting him and granting him hope in death.]]

* HalfTheManHeUsedToBe: [[spoiler: After just doing this to Arthur in their rematch, he in turn gets the entire left half of his body disintegrated by Arthur's Violet Flash: Planet Divider.]]
* HumanoidAbomination: [[spoiler: Though some kind of Pyrokinetic Generation, it's not clear if he's entirely human. He came into existence after the first Cataclysm in destroyed parts of the world, has lived for centuries, and as a late has been considered the incarnation of despair whose negativity keeps the Great Cataclysm going. It's implied he's the living incarnation of the human collective thought of a great beast that lives within the skies that inspired stories of Dragons]]

* MadeOfIron:[[spoiler: Even when Arthur finally manages to start hurting Dragon through utilizing Adolla to make himself strong enough to fight him, Dragon doesn't make it easy for him, enduring damaging attacks such as being impaled repeatedly with barely a flinch and dealing with his left hand getting cut off by using the same instant to land a [[EyeScream devastating counter]] to Arthur without acknowledging his injury.]]

* StrawNihilist: He could not care less about living if he tried. When left alone with his thoughts and nothing to do Dragon is content to just drift aimlessly. [[spoiler: When Charon's dying blast throws Dragon into space, the knowledge despair won convinced Dragon to float through space forever. He only changes his mind when he notices Arthur still hadn't given up and then comes back to Earth for one LastDance.]]
** Dragon's personal misery along with his astonishing power [[spoiler: result in his feelings single-handedly tipping the scales of the Collective Consciousness towards despair and death. Meaning that all the Fire Force's attempt to keep hope alive during the Cataclysm mean nothing so long as Dragon is passively dragging them all towards ruin.]]

* CurbStompBattle: [[spoiler: Faerie's 'fight' with Sho once Shinra is revived from the pillar amounts to this. It lasts all of a single chapter and the only reason that Sho doesn't end the fight in a single move is that Faerie's GravityMaster powers can also distort the flow of time through altering the mass in the space between them to counter Sho's powers. Sho just [[LetsGetDangerous gets serious]] and fatally stabs Faerie in his next move, retorting that Faerie might be able to stand in the same stage as him, but he cannot keep up with Sho's top speed regardless]].

* HumiliationConga: [[spoiler: Dragon's defeat causes everything to fall apart for Faeire very quickly. Not only does Faerie devolve into a ranting and screaming wreck but his very attempt to regain composure and control is immediately counted. By the end Sho is completely ignoring him]].

* HornedHairdo: Combines this with a BaldOfEvil. Flashbacks show that his hair stuck out like that even as a child.

* Foil: She can be seen as one to Sho. He was calm and serious despite being innocent at one point. Haumea is cruel and consistently upbeat with flashbacks implying she's alway been a terror. [[In the last stretch of the story, this becomes further invoked as Sho remembers who he is and reverts back to being a sweet kid, while it's revealed Haumea's insanity is the result of never-ending torture from receiving the hatred of all mankind through Talking Head. She then becomes a tragic and stoic figure from then on with none of her previous EvilIsHammy traits.]]

* LackOfEmpathy: She doesn't care about anything or anyone besides herself. Not even being directly connected to the minds of those she causes misery to is enough to move her.

* ContrastingSequelAntagonist: [[spoiler:Prequel in this case, and to Crona. Both are TragicVillains subjected to horrible abuse--Haumea by a GodOfEvil and humanity's despair at large, Crona mostly by their mother Medusa. They end up becoming receptacles for the true BigBad of their respective series too--Haumea assimilates the Evangelist willingly as it intends to use her as its host, while Crona does this to Asura unwillingly. Haumea undergoes a HeelFaceTurn right at the very last second, while Crona was subject to a HeelFaceRevolvingDoor thanks to their trauma and extenuating circumstances outside of their control. And while Shinra manages to save Haumea by making her willingly part with the Evangelist and choose life, allowing him to destroy her, Asura overtakes Crona and eventually forces them to pull a HeroicSacrifice when they fully accept their guilt for the evil things they did. They become a BarrierMaiden sealing Asura permanently, with it being left open-ended whether they'll [[IWillWaitForYou see Maka again or not.]] Haumea fortunately has an unambiguously happy ending with her ParentalSubstitute Charon.]]

* OneWingedAngel: [[spoiler:Attempts to do this when Shinra and Chiron convince Haumea to do a HeelFaceTurn. She doesn't get very far before Shinra destroys her permanently.]]
