Makes sense, as Shinra is forced to create the world of Soul Eater thanks to her.]]

* VillainousBreakdown: [[spoiler: Has a non-verbal one once Hamura chooses to let go of humanity's collective longing for death, where it suddenly grows giant and opens its veil to reveal a pitch black void with only a [[Manga/SoulEater familar set of eyes]] looking out. Shinra prompty destroys them with a single kick before they can do anything.]]

* TheHeavy: She becomes the main source of problems for the main characters in regards to the Knights, since Sho is out of comission by the time she is introduced and the Evangelist doesn't fight directly, so she leads many of the attacks.

* CoDragons: Shares this position for the Evangelist along with Yona [[spoiler:(probably the oldest subordinate of the Evangelist and the one who shaped the history of the Tokyo Empire)]] and Haumea (commander of the Whtie Clad). It is revealed that she was alive when the Great Cataclysm happened, and that she played a similar role to Haumea there, though now she prefers to work from the shadows.

* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: [[spoiler:Charon's unconditional love for his charge is obvious but Haumea actually starts screaming and crying out when she realises he's dying.]]

* KickTheDog: To ensure Shinra understands exactly how little their blood relation means to him, he insults their dead mother. Shinra didn't take it well. [[spoiler:Although once he was reminded of his true familial bonds, all the love he had for his brother and mother comes rushing back. At least until Haeuma messes with his brain to repress those memories and emotions.]]

* MisanthropeSupreme: [[spoiler:She symbolizes the concept of Disgust for the pillars and displayed complete contempt for her fellow man for hundreds of years. It's this hatred of humanity that led her to join the Evangelist's cause centuries prior to the story and help start the first Great Cataclysm.]]

* TragicVillain: [[spoiler:She was originally a selfless and kind little girl, but the constant stream of despair from the collective unconscious from her Talking Head ability that flooded into her brain is never-ending and warps her into seeing despair as the only true salvation there is. She sees the Great Cataclysm as a way of achieving ultimate freedom, since if she and the world were to end forever, she'd no longer have to suffer. This is also what fuels her cruelty, as she has no other outlet for the constant negativity but to unleash it on others.]]

The leader of all White Clad groups, mastermind to their wicked deeds and TheBigBad of the entire manga. The Evangelist is a mysterious character whose plans seem to span hundreds of years and the entire globe. [[spoiler: according to Haumea, she is the physical form of the human subconscious, a manifestation of the ultimate despair and desire of mankind: their own extinction.]]

* HopeSpot: It looks like Shinra has finally freed Shō from The Evangelist... [[spoiler:But Haumea stabs him through the chest and uses {{mind control}} to force Shō into leaving with her. Also, The Evangelist has robbed Shō of his {{Time Stop}} power.]]

* BadassBeard: It be quite gentlemanly if he wasn't so evil.

* TheFatalist: [[spoiler:Everything is destined for death, and in agreement with the Evangelist recognizes that humanity has a subconscious longing for death. SHe also believes that the end of the world is the ultimate solution for life's problems, as with everyone dead the cycle of suffering can finally end. She even welcomes Shinra attempting to kill her, since by resorting to that he ''also'' believes that the world's problems can be solved with (a) death.]]

* ShoutOut: Her various abilities are named after English language bands. Radio Head, Motorhead, Talking Head.

* MoodSwinger: She seems stoic at first and the shifts into childish glee in the span of seconds. While she is typically manic, she still slides into thoughtful and restrained depending on her situation.

* NotSoDifferent: With Arthur. Arthur obsesses over knights, Dragon over dragons.

* LackOfEmpathy: Much like Arrow, Sh&#333 isn't interested in other people's lives or emotions. After meeting his older brother he does start to become more curious about the family history and how the White Clad found him but he still completely apathetic about stopping them. [[spoiler:A surprise appearance by his mother and a few major revelations motivate him to take a stand. Although he does embody Apathy in the Evangelist's scheme.]]

* FeatherMotif: Shō can create feathers made of fire. It makes him look like an angel and [[spoiler:might be his natural ability without {{Divine intervention}} giving him more power]].

* HighAltitudeBattle: [[spoiler:Goes head-to-head with Faerie to protect Shinra in the skys, Using pipes fried by Arrow as stepping stones.]]

* LightIsNotGood: Shō has white pupils and white hair, wears a white outfit and looks like a little angel. He's a ruthless killing machine.

* MysticalPregnancy: [[spoiler: Neither he or his big brother have a father and are revealed to have been virgin births. He concludes that he is the embodiment of humanity's belief in guardian angels and his purpose is to guide his brother to victory]].

* HateSink: Aside from [[{{Meido}} Ritsu]], nobody cares for Inca. ''Nobody''. Her callous attitude towards others, her disdain for a normal life and ''need'' for an adrenaline rush, the fact that she murdered her friend without a second thought (who was trying to save her) and countless other heinous actions have ensured that she pretty much earned the enimity of all those around her.

* ReligionOfEvil: They plan on setting the world on fire to create a second star in the solar system. Doubles as ScaryAmoralReligion because they see all mortality and opposition equals worthless in the face of a force like the Evangelist.

* CantKillYouStillNeedYou: There need to be 8 pillars for the Evangelist's plot to work. Meaning that they absolutely cannot die under any circumstances. Even if they oppose the White-Clad, the organization will protect their lives at any cost until the Cataclysm can begin.

** [[spoiler: Amaterasu embodies Madness, Haumea is Passivity, Sho is Apathy, Shinra and Inca are Rage and Destruction respectively, Sumire is Disgust and Iris represents the end product; Despair itself.]]

* BrickJoke: Shinra sees two school boys who would be Sho's age argue if getting a ballon from a mascot was lame or not. 200 chapters later [[spoiler: Sho is confused by the mascots but completely absorbed by the ballon they hand him]].

* GravityMaster: Can increase the mass and gravitational force of objects through his Ignition ability. With Adolla Burst, he can cause objects to levitate, even to the point of entering orbit. [[spoiler:He can even do this with the ''moon''!]]

* ThisCannotBe: [[spoiler:His reaction to Dragon defeated by Arthur is utter disbelief a child could slay the dragon and cleanse the world's despair.]]
