* [[TheWoobie Woobie Queen]]- In a story that is ''packed'' with Woobies (it would be easier to list the characters that ''aren't''), Sakura stands out as by ''far'' the worst case among the regular humans. Avenger [[FateWorseThanDeath might have it even worse.]]

* TheWoobie - Depending on the AlternateCharacterInterpretation. What could be worse than being [[BeingGoodSucks born naturally evil, only able to take pleasure in the suffering of others]], but still [[BeingEvilSucks born with a]] ''[[BeingEvilSucks conscience?]]'' This only shows up in Heaven's Feel, however; the other two routes don't go into his backstory enough to show him as anything but a CompleteMonster.

* GenreSavvy - True Assassin more than once states that he thinks Zouken's [[EvilIsNotAToy screwing around with Dark Sakura]] and [[WhyDontYouJustShootHim refusal to just wipe out the heroes when he has the chance]] are probably not smart. He's not wrong.
** Whilst this is ''partially'' true (Assassin is aware that Shirou and Rin still pose a threat even after Zouken has written them off), Zouken has a very good reason for sparing Shirou, since killing him himself would just make Sakura hate him more (and, thus, make it almost impossible for him to control her), whilst persuading him to kill Sakura or getting Sakura to kill him will result in her breaking totally and, thus, allow him to take control of Angra Mainyu.

* XanatosSucker - Pretty much * everything* he does in HF is orchestrated by Zouken in order to further his plans for Sakura, culminating in [[spoiler:his death, which results in Sakura's FreakOut.]]

* TheChewToy - Shinji is introduced as an extremely ineffectual little slimeball. He is smacked around in confrontations with Shirou and other Servants, cannot get Rin's attention at all, is bloodily offed in two of the routes, and the sole remaining route spends a good deal of time [[BreakTheHaughty convincing him]] that yes, Shinji, ''really,'' it is not all fun and games being a magus/Master/the Holy Grail. Considering that he is a [[SmugSnake conceited little git]] at best and [[CompleteMonster a sociopathic rapist]] at worst, he doesn't get too much sympathy about this.

* AlternateCharaterInterpretation - Many of her detractors see her as a weak-willed ExtremeDoormat who should have [[FanDumb committed suicide]] before the game rather than complaining about her situation whilst she went slowly insane (even though she barely ever ''did'' complain), as opposed to an [[NotSoWeak extremely strong]] girl who resisted the control of Angra Mainyu for as long as she possibly could and who kept her [[RapeAsBackstory horrific home life]] hidden from her Sempai and sister to prevent them from hurting themselves in order to save her from a situation which she felt was inescapable.

* BaseBreaker - Sakura tends to be the least liked female character in the series, although she certainly has a reasonable number of dedicated fans, and the number of ''genuine'' haters is relatively small. There are several reasons for this, but commonly she is disliked because her SuperPoweredEvilSide kills off several popular characters over the course of her scenario (mostly without her knowledge), and also because of some of the bad ends that her SuperPoweredEvilSide causes (in particular the last one).

* ButtMonkey / DieForOurShip / TheScrappy - Sakura tends to be the least liked female character in the series, although she certainly has a reasonable number of dedicated fans, and the number of ''genuine'' haters is relatively small. *TheMario - On her character sheet, all her attributes (except for her Noble Phantasm) are B or C rank. The other servants are much less balanced.

*FieldOfBlades - In ''UBW'' only.

** This is explained by the visual novel as Archer having none of the "natural talent" that legitimate heroes like Saber or Lancer are born with, or the blessings of higher entities like Berserker's and Gilgamesh's divine heritage; Archer-as-Shirou had to LevelGrind his abilities by living through thousands of battles in life and after it.

*CharacterAlignment - Not stated, but likely LawfulGood or NeutralGood. Shirou wants to 'save everybody' and 'become an ally of justice' and lives much of his life by those two ideals. [[spoiler:His CharacterDevelopment in UBW doesn't change this outlook much -- Heaven's Feel does, however, to the degree that he goes ChaoticNeutral and is willing to risk the Earth being destroyed rather than directly harm Sakura.]]

*GayOption - Toyed with. He is one of the only men Shirou talks to, and the only one that isn't an enemy at some point. And he blushes a lot, especially while he's worrying over Shirou. And he grabs Shirou's arm and drags him away from Rin several times. And... [[SoYeah yeah]].
