[[spoiler:In the prequels, he's responsible for taking out both Lancer and Assassin, the only two female Servants in the last Holy Grail War he participated in, as well as having no problems stabbing Manaka from behind after discovering the true nature of the Holy Grail and what she plans on doing with it]].

Compared to F/SN-Gilgamesh who was an average swordsman and whose preferred combat style is to simply shoot everything to death, Proto-Gilgamesh actually prefers to deal with his opponents up close and personal (with his version of the Gate of Babylon acting as a sort of sidearm) thus averting disadvantage that his counterpart had when put against other Servants in the melee department. He's even good enough to give Saber a hard time as seen in the OVA.

* DemonicPossession: In ''Fate/Labyrinth'', her wandering spirit is drawn into the Seventh Labyrinth of Caubac Alcatraz and unwittingly takes control of Norma Goodfellow. Under Manaka's control, Norma summons Saber Artoria to participate in the Subcategory Holy Grail War and joins up with Robin Hood, Medea and True Assassin. While she loses control of Norma at the entrance of the Labyrinth's fourth floor because of the Beast recalling her to her home world, she would later return to help Norma destroy that instance of the Holy Grail.

* MartialPacifist: Was an inheritor and practitioner of "Jacob's Limbs," an anti-angel martial art.
* SummonBiggerFish: As Ozymandias' gods were very real in this setting, Moses invoking his god's powers to smite the nation with plagues that polluted the source of the Egyptian pantheon's might as well as the kingdom's various resources. Ra, Horus, and the rest were unable to stymy the sequential onslaught with even their precious sun being blacked out by divine darkness.
* WeUsedToBeFriends: His love of the Egyptian royal family was ultimately put aside so he could free his people.
