* TheDragon: He's this to ''the Egg''. Being the one of the earliest known followers of it and an active spreader of its influence.

* ResignInProtest: He and Antfrost resign their jobs as prison guards in protest of Sam's treatment of them, [[ColdBloodedTorture corruption in the prison]], and [[KilledOffForReal Ranboo's murder]].

* NotImportantToThisEpisodeCamp: During Dream's escape from prison, Ant was conspicuously absent, despite being one of the Prison's few guards. This is later [[JustifiedTrope justified]], as we found out that he had taken an in-canon day off.

** His arguable codependency on Skeppy, which leads him to risk everything he has — his freedom, safety, happiness, and most notably, [[BrainwashedAndCrazy his free will]] — if it means Skeppy is alright. It also doesn't help that his life is outright [[SoulJar tied to Skeppy's]], so if/when Skeppy loses all his canon lives and is KilledOffForReal, Bad will die with him.

* OrnamentalWeapon: He has a diamond sword strapped to his back in a scabbard that is never used in combat. Justified as it is part of his Minecraft skin and not an actual weapon, i.e. it is purely decorative.

While Ant is usually kind, he's had his moments of causing chaos (such as the second pet war partially starting because he decided to steal a panda from Punz and Sapnap, or him killing Callahan for little reason during the confusion of Technoblade assassinating King George).
* DesecratingTheDead: Upon hearing of Tommy's [[KilledOffForReal death]], Ant wastes no time gathering the rest of the Eggpire to throw a party celebrating his demise -- ''in Tommy's own house, no less'' (well, until [[OnlySaneWoman Puffy]] chases them out, at least). Later on, he stumbles across Tommy's grave and ''[[LastDisrespects dances on it.]]''

* DragonAscendant: With Dream on the run in the Disunion Era and now in prison, Punz has become the ''de facto'' leader of the Dream SMP in his absence.

* HeroKiller: Much like Dream is this to Tommy, Wilbur's first two lives were both taken by Punz (Punz dealt the final blow against him in the final control room and later on hunted Wilbur down on Schlatt's orders).

* TokenGoodTeammate: Possibly to the Eggpire, [[DownplayedTrope after Punz]]. Ponk claimed he was not aware of the rest of the Eggpire's plan to sacrifice people to the Egg during the Red Banquet and thought it would be peaceful, though he still helped the Eggpire during the event for unknown reasons. Afterward, Ponk fled to Foolish's summer home and sought forgiveness, losing influence from the Egg in the process.

* SoulJar: Type 2. He appears to serve as one of sorts for Bad -- only when Skeppy dies will Bad will lose a canon life, though whether this means Bad initially had three canon lives, and looses a life every time Skeppy does, or has only one canon life, and can’t die until Skeppy is KilledOffForReal, remains unclear.

* WingedHumanoid: As a fairy, Hannah has a pair of wings.[[note]]The out-of-universe explanation for this is that she won the Team Seas server-wide charity event and was given a pair of Elytra as a reward.[[/note]] Considering that this is the Dream SMP, a world of chaos even without the wars, [[BrokenAngel this doesn't last]].

* DueToTheDead: During his second encounter with Sam Bucket, Bad witnesses the former placing buckets on gravestones.. [[OhCrap which bear his name and Foolish's]].

* NeverMyFault: When Puffy screams at him for [[AdultFear trying to kill her son]], Foolish, [[ForcedToWatch in front of her]], Ant takes no responsibility, instead [[BlamingTheVictim fully blaming Puffy for Foolish's death]], since she left the Eggpire once they made it clear they didn't care about people at all.

* AmbiguousDisorder: It's implied his time as one of the members of the Eggpire may have left him with some form of SplitPersonality disorder. When Seapeekay agrees to go on a tour setup by Ponk and BBH and meets up with the latter the following day, Bad has no recollection of ever meeting Seapeekay and acts as if he's meeting him for the first time. When Foolish stops Bad as he's leading CPK down to the room containing the Egg, Bad seemingly switches back to normal and has no clue why they are even down there in the first place.

* CooperationGambit: Bad's faction supported Pogtopia in their war against Dream and Schlatt. However, Bad's primary motive is to keep the war going for as long as possible so The Badlands can take over while the others are distracted.
* DisproportionateRetribution: His response to Tommy reverting the Prime Path backs to his original look? ''Encase his entire house and property in obsidian!''

* EngineeredHeroics: Bad plans to have the Blood Vines spread all over the SMP and then arrive with the only solution to remove the Vines in order to gain control over the entire server.
* EvilIsPetty: As of Season 4, Bad has made a habit of getting back at others in the most annoying of ways for slighting him (even though its usually out of Bad's victims being inconvenienced first). For example, when it came to Foolish, Bad usually tampers with his [=DreamXD=] statue or someplace around his summer home.

** Bad's second possession happened when he willingly gave himself up to the Egg because he didn't want to lose his friend Skeppy, who sacrificed his free will first to end Bad's initial possession. It gets worse when the Egg's influence on Skeppy strains the duo's friendship, leading to an argument that ended in Bad accidentally killing Skeppy.

* NeverMyFault: While most other former Eggpire cultists have since apologized and tried to make up for their wrongdoings, Bad holds a notorious tendency to never own up to his past misdeeds. This refusal to accept the blame extends to even in Season 4, where he has yet to realize that those that he wronged, such as Foolish with his builds or Tommy and the Prime Path, only retaliated because his own actions forced their hand.

* ProphetEyes: He is described to have white eyes.

* TakeAThirdOption: Bad doesn't want to support either Manburg or Pogtopia, so he decided to join a new faction with Antfrost and Awesamdude, the Badlands.

* TragicVillain: Bad willingly allowed himself to get re-corrupted by The Crimson after failing to find any way to undo his best friend Skeppy's possession, corrupting him into a villain that would've horrified his normal self.
* WouldHurtAChild: After getting possessed, Bad has no qualms about trapping Tommy and Tubbo inside the room with the Egg, and one of his goals is to get Tommy and use the Egg to corrupt him to their cause. This goal is what ultimately causes Puffy and Sam to actively go against him.
* YouAreWorthHell: Bad choose to get re-corrupted by The Egg after failing to find a way to undo Skeppy's possession, because he didn't want to lose Skeppy.

** The Red Banquet also turns out to be this, with the Eggpire inviting various members of the server, several of whom are Pro-Omelette (in opposition of the Egg), to a banquet supposedly to make peace and turn over a new leaf, but eventually trapping the attendees in the Egg Chamber with lava curtains, executing them one by one, and feeding their life energies to the Egg.

* AudienceParticipation: Being a manifestation of Ponk's audience and stream chat, this is to be expected.
* FlowerMotifs: Lemons, as a carry-over from Ponk himself.
* StudioAudience: They are treated this way, though they aren't physically present and usually communicate through text instead of through audio.

* TheAlcoholic: Bad started drinking around the time of the prison break to [[DrowningMySorrows help cope with the guilt]] over his partial role in Ranboo’s death and assisting Dream’s escape, and since then it appears to have become a habit, over which multiple characters, including several of Bad’s enemies, have expressed concern.

Bad has two lives left. He lost his first life when he accidentally killed Skeppy by pushing him into lava. The way his lives work is unique: as a demon, Bad is unkillable unless his source of power (in Bad's case, Skeppy) dies. Thus, Bad loses a canon life only when Skeppy does.

* SoulJar: Type 2. He appears to serve as one of sorts for Bad -- only when Skeppy dies will Bad will lose a canon life.

* FatalFlaw: His arguable codependency on Skeppy, which leads him to risk everything he has — his freedom, safety, happiness, and most notably, [[BrainwashedAndCrazy his free will]] — if it means Skeppy is alright. ** Personality wise, Bad's own refusal to accept the blame for his misdeeds and opting to take petty vengeance is pretty much a good factor for the conflicts that revolve around him.
* GoshDangItToHeck: Bad prefers to keep his content family friendly, using the words "muffin" or "muffinhead" as replacement for swears. [[SirSwearsALot Tommy and Quackity]] often troll BBH by openly cursing in front of him.

* BigBad: He and the Eggpire as a whole are slowly shaping up to be this for the Imprisonment Era with Dream now out of the picture.

* DisproportionateRetribution: His response to Tommy reverting the Prime Path backs to his original look? ''Encase his entire house and property in obsidian''!!!

* FaceHeelTurn: While Bad was always morally grey (as was everyone else), his corruption by the Egg turns him into one of the most ruthless and manipulative people on the server, with his endgame being to corrupt everyone else on the server into worshippers of the Egg like him.

* OurDemonsAreDifferent: His demonic blood grants him semi-immortality, as he [[NighInvulnerable cannot be killed unless Skeppy (his source of power) dies first]]. He is also incredibly tall standing at 9 feet and 6 inches (289.56cm) -- [[GameplayAndStorySegregation not that you'd be able to tell by looking at his character in-game.]]

* TookALevelInJerkass: While the Egg has a negative influence on anyone it controls, Bad has gotten it especially, well, bad, becoming a ruthless, cruel zealot. Even after the influence is gone, as of season 4, Bad has since fallen into becoming a petty annoyance amongst those around the server.

* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: During his conversation with Quackity on top of Punz' tower, he acts [[TranquilFury uncharacteristically serious]] throughout the entire exchange.

* TookALevelInJerkass: While the Egg has a negative influence on anyone it controls, Bad has gotten it especially, well, bad, becoming a ruthless, cruel zealot.

* BrokenAngel: Her wings were burnt off in an explosion in one of Boomer's not-so-harmless pranks.

* GoshDarnItToHeck: Bad prefers to keep his content family friendly, using the words "muffin" or "muffinhead" as replacement for swears. [[SirSwearsALot Tommy and Quackity]] often troll BBH by openly cursing in front of him.

* CatchPhrase: He would say "Language!" whenever someone swears at or around him.

* AbsenteeActor: Was notably the only member of the Eggpire to not be present at the Red Banquet.

He quietly said, "[[BigBrotherInstinct But I saved him...]]" and briefly expressed grief over Tommy's death despite the Crimson influencing him to celebrate it, and he was the sole member of the Eggpire (other than Skeppy) to [[AbsenteeActor not show up]] to the [[NastyParty Red Banquet]].
