Once a ruthless bounty hunter from Gold City and the one man who stood a chance against Clint Wayne, later brought in the team to assist in taking back Gold City.

* OnlyInItForTheMoney: Angel Eyes was initially convinced to join by an offer of money. It's not entirely clear how much he's motivated by it later on, though.
* RivalsTeamUp: Was an old rival of Clint Wayne before teaming up with him for the Dino Attack.
* SmokingIsCool: Angel Eyes is one of the few Dino Attacks to smoke, and it's done to make him look cool.

!!Standard Agent Anubis

* ADayInTheLimelight: The short story ''Time and Place'' featured Anubis as the main character and fleshed out his character, background, and motivations.
* DeathSeeker: A downplayed example. Because he inexplicably survived an incident that should have killed him, Anubis secretly believed that he was living on borrowed time and was fated to die during the Dino Attack. As a result, he did not hesitate to place himself in dangerous situations, including a direct attack on Dr. Rex during the final battle that ultimately resulted in his death.
* TheGenericGuy: Anubis became [=PeabodySam=]'s go-to guy for a generic character to fill some needed role, especially after [[spoiler:Ata, the other generic guy, was recast as TheMole]].
* ItIsNotYourTime: A major theme of ''Time and Place'' is Anubis wondering about this.
* KilledOffForReal: Anubis was properly killed off in the finale of the FinalBattle; this time, the ghost of Rev Raptor wasn't there to save him.
* {{Leitmotif}}: In the Complete Soundtrack playlist, Anubis's theme is "The Pyramid" from ''VideoGame/MonstersIncScreamTeam''.
* MeaningfulName: Death is a central theme of Anubis's character, which makes sense given that his codename refers to the ancient Egyptian god associated with the afterlife.
* ReplacementFlatCharacter: Because Ata, [=PeabodySam's=] go-to [[TheGenericGuy Generic Guy]], was given a lot more personality in ''At War's End'', Anubis stepped in to fill that void of a flat character who could fill in any needed role.
* SacrificialLamb: Anubis was introduced as a RedShirt who would be immediately killed off to demonstrate the growing power of the Mutant Dinos, but intervention by The Castle Gear ensured his survival. Because of this, Anubis was allowed to develop a little more as a character, but still did not survive the final battle as a reminder of Dr. Rex's power.
* SuddenNameChange: In his debut, Anubis was named "Arubis" due to a typo by [=PeabodySam=], and therefore he was referred to by this name in The Castle Gear's post. When he was brought back later on, his name was corrected to Anubis.
* WideEyedIdealist: Because of his spiritual beliefs, Anubis believed that all living creatures (including the Mutant Dinos) have souls, and therefore he avoided killing unless absolutely necessary.

!!Standard Agent Krystal "Aravis" Portman

* ActionGirl: She was the first female member of GAIA Squad.
* DroppedABridgeOnHim: For such a major character in the GAIA Squad subplot, she was unceremoniously killed by a Hybrid sniper.

* SuddenNameChange: Aravis's real name was originally Stacey Harder before it was retconned to Krystal Portman.

!!Standard Agent Attila "Ata" Huntsman

Ata is a CommunicationsOfficer who, despite not being as well-known as some of his superiors, often happens to be at the right place at the right time. [[spoiler:However, Ata was actually TheMole all along, and used his position as Communications Officer to inform XERRD of Dino Attack's activity while [[TheRadioDiesFirst sabotaging Dino Attack's radios]].]]

* AdaptationalSympathy: In ''At War's End'', Ata acts rather smug while [[spoiler:being interrogated by Rex]]. The Director's Cut, incorporating his characterization and backstory from ''The Huntsman'', makes him more sympathetic and emphasizes that, instead of Ata actually being smug, it is Rex who is perceiving Ata's calm and assured demeanor as being smug.
* AscendedExtra: Ata started off as just [[TheGenericGuy a random generic unnamed rookie agent]], but with his return during the LEGO Island StoryArc, he secured a much greater role in the RPG and even got his own short story.
* BeneathSuspicion: [[spoiler:CommunicationsOfficer might not be a lowly position, but Ata was such a seemingly minor figure that no one suspected of being TheMole.]]
* ChekhovsGunman: Ata, at first, was a seemingly-random unnamed communications expert who thought his GPS was glitching. He ended up helping Rex and Amanda return to the Dino Attack Team. Then, he became a ChekhovsBoomerang... twice.
** ChekhovsBoomerang: The return of Ata during the LEGO Island StoryArc, during which time he found the Constructopedia. And again, Ata became important just before the final battle... [[spoiler:when it was revealed that he was a [[TheMole mole]] working for XERRD.]]

* ADayInTheLimelight: The short story ''The Huntsman'' was told from Ata's perspective and fleshed out his character, background, and motivations.
* DeviousDaggers: Ata was raised to become a shinobi, and the knife appeared to be his weapon of choice since it was what he used in battle against the corrupted Master Yogen. In the Dino Attack, he used the knife a lot when he [[spoiler:murdered most of the Second Headquarters Squad]], during which time he was certainly putting his old skills as a stealthy infiltrator to good use.
* EscapeArtist: Due to his Shinobi background, no security system can hold Ata for long.

His minifig has been depicted on the wiki as having a classic smiling head and short brown hair, making him look even more generic by LEGO minifig standards. * HiredToHuntYourself: [[spoiler:Being a CommunicationsOfficer, Ata was instructed by Specs to constantly review the team's communications to see if there were any suspicious messages, hoping to track down TheMole. Ata used this to his advantage by leading Specs to investigate {{Red Herring Mole}}s such as Scout while covering up his own tracks.]]

As revealed in ''The Huntsman'', he was named by his parents, who were members of a clan of marauders and pillagers much like the Huns. Ata was not proud of this fact, and so one of his goals in life was to make a new name for himself.

However, when the Maelstrom claimed the life of his adoptive father Master Yogen, he swore revenge.

* ChaoticStupid: Everything Baldrick says or does shows that he just comes up with crazy nonsensical ideas.
* {{Expy}}: [[Series/{{Blackadder}} I'll give you three guesses]].
* TheHyena: Baldrick believes that nearly everything, including Bluetooth's report about [[InsaneAdmiral French Fries]] attempting to murder Pterisa and boasting about killing Trouble, is ''a hilarious joke''. That particular instance caused Blueooth to [[EnragedByIdiocy blow up at him]].
* IdiotHoudini: Despite being one of the most idiotic members of the cast, contributing absolutely nothing but his idiotic "brilliant plans" that are never put into execution, Baldrick suffers no consequences other than the one time Bluetooth yelled at him.
* OnlyOneName: He is only known as Baldrick.
* ThePigPen: He is always very dirty.
* WrongGenreSavvy: Baldrick acts as though he thinks that he's in a British comedy, which makes him stick out like a sore thumb among ''Dino Attack RPG'''s cast.

!!Standard Agent Clint "Blondie" Wayne

* TheAlcoholic: He can frequently be found drinking whiskey.
* AntiHero: Clint Wayne would probably be somewhere between a KnightInSourArmour and a PragmaticHero.
* CigarChomper: He is almost seen smoking.
* {{Expy}}: Clint Wayne is pretty much an expy of [[Film/DollarsTrilogy The Man With No Name]].
* GunTwirling: Clint Wayne enjoys doing this from time to time.
* TheGunslinger: He is very talented with a revolver, having won countless gunfights back in Gold City.
* HairTriggerTemper: Clint Wayne once nearly shot Cabin because of this.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Clint Wayne may initially seem ruthless and amoral, but he is still responsible for saving a large group of agents from being executed by Rotor and he did promise Pierce that he would ensure Kate's safety while the two of them were alone in the jungle. He ''does'' also seem a lot better compared to the likes of Flatfoot Thomsen and some of the other close-minded citizens of the Old west.
* NamedAfterSomebodyFamous: Named after Creator/ClintEastwood and Creator/JohnWayne.
* NoCelebritiesWereHarmed: Heavily based on the roles played by Creator/ClintEastwood.
* TheQuietOne: Clint Wayne is often on his own and isn't usually a huge talker, but if he has something to say he isn't afraid to say it.
* RevolversAreJustBetter: Clint Wayne seems to think so, seeing as he is only armed with his old revolver.
* RivalsTeamUp: Was an old rival of Angel Eyes before teaming up with him for the Dino Attack.
* SmokingIsCool: Clint Wayne is one of the few Dino Attacks to smoke, and it's done to make him look cool.

* BerserkButton: Bluetooth [[EnragedByIdiocy doesn't respond well to complete idiocy]], especially in regards to French Fries's final folly or [[TheHyena Baldrick]] thinking that it was a hilarious joke.
* CommunicationsOfficer: He fills this role, especially whenever he has to broadcast Semick's speeches to the rest of the team.
* EnragedByIdiocy: When Baldrick thought that Bluetooth's report on French Fries was a hilarious joke, Bluetooth's BerserkButton was hit with a sledgehammer.

* SoleSurvivor: Carl Lutsky is the only survivor of at attack on his office building during the Dino Attack, a fact he takes vary hard.
* TriggerHappy: His attitude towards Dust tends to lean towards shooting now and asking questions later.
* UnstoppableRage: When he feels his authority might be threatened.
* VillainousBreakdown: Carl Lutsky fit the trope when he went from well-groomed jerk to crazy jerk with a vendetta.
* WellIntentionedExtremist: Lutsky has the same goals as the rest of the team - to bring an end to the invasion of the mutant dinos. It's just that he's willing to take a few more risks that others would normally object to.

!!Standard Agent Johanna "Catless" Evergreen

* PunnyName: "Catless" is an engineering term (fitting as she attended the Brickachussets Institute of Technology), but Johanna adopted this nickname because she kept literally losing her cat.

!!Standard Agent Amanda "Claw" Alexander (née Remous)

A former assassin and bounty hunter known as [[NamesToRunAwayFrom/ForeignLanguageNames Silencia Venomosa]], Amanda Remous joined Dino Attack Team to [[TheAtoner redeem herself of her past crimes]]. She was well known for [[TheVoiceless her vow of silence]] after her tragic background, although [[SuddenlyVoiced she broke the vow late in the Dino Attack]]. For much of the Dino Attack, Amanda was in a romantic relationship with Rex, and they finally [[WartimeWedding married during the final battle]].

* AcquiredPoisonImmunity: Acquired during her years as Silencia Venomosa. This protected her from the poisonous gas in the Mindstorms, Inc. building. She also hoped this would protect her from the XERRD toxins, but evidently that is one immunity she never acquired; still, she held out longer than most of her fellow Dino Attack agents.
* ActionGirl: Amanda is an effective fighter with knives and guns, and is one of Dino Attack Team's best-known female agents in the RPG. As Silencia Venomosa, she qualifies as a DarkActionGirl.
* AdaptationalAngstUpgrade: Amanda Claw in the original RPG did not have much angst at all until the end of the LEGO Island story arc. As part of BackportedDevelopment to better align with her later characterization, ''Love and War'' and the Director's Cut give her some considerable angst over the disappearance of her brother Roger Remous, and the latter also makes it clear that she did not enjoy being forcibly turned into a Mutant T-Rex.
* AdaptationalWeaponSwap: In the early RPG days, Amanda preferred using a [[ChainPain chain whip]] as her weapon of choice. While she does use a chain briefly as a MythologyGag, ''Love and War'' and the Director's Cut otherwise replace her chain whip with DeviousDaggers to be more consistent with her later characterization.
* AlternateAnimalAffection: In the Director's Cut, after being turned into a Mutant T-Rex by FUTURE, Amanda would physically express her closeness with Rex by gently rubbing up against his neck.
* AppropriatedAppellation: As revealed in ''Love and War'', this is the origin of Amanda's nickname "Amanda Claw". When Remous introduced her to Rex, he started to call her by her real name only to remember mid-introduction to call her by her codename instead, and so Rex misinterpreted this as "Amanda Claw". Amused, Amanda took a liking to the flub and let her friends call her that as a nickname.
* TheAtoner: Joined the Dino Attack Team to redeem herself of her crimes as Silencia Venomosa.
* BackportedDevelopment: Amanda Claw's depiction in ''Love and War'' (a {{rewrite}} of her first appearance in the RPG) is based on her post-LEGO Island story arc characterization, instead of how she was originally portrayed during her first few years in the RPG.
* BadassLongcoat: During the heist on Dacta Corporation, Silencia Venomosa wore one.
* BewareTheQuietOnes: She may be quiet, but don't mistaken her silence for weakness.
* BountyHunter: As Silencia Venomosa, quite a few of her jobs involved hunting bounties. If a price was placed on someone's head, she would hunt them down and bring them in to her client. However, these have been considerably downplayed in favor of highlighting her more infamous [[ProfessionalKiller assassinations]]. Her overall job description better suits a ''Franchise/StarWars'' bounty hunter than a real-world one.
* BrokenTears: A downplayed example. After Trigger tried to reveal her identity as Silencia Venomosa combined with steadily-increasing evidence pointing to her as being TheMole, Amanda went to the back of the lounge and cried to herself when no one was around, feeling that her DarkAndTroubledPast was catching up to her and there was nothing she could do to stop it.
* BrotherSisterTeam: Claw and her brother Remous were close partners when they initially joined Dino Attack Team, though the team was broken up after Remous was kidnapped and killed by Finister.
* ChainPain: Used to be Amanda's weapon of choice, but after her ReTool which made her less of a Dromus {{Expy}}, she dropped the ChainPain in favor of being a {{Devious Dagger|s}}.
* ChastityDagger: Shortly after Don Bricassius [[RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil made an unwarranted sexual advance on her]], Silencia Venomosa killed him with a steak knife that she had hidden under her dress.
* DamselOutOfDistress: In ''Love and War'', Phantom is holding Amanda hostage, except Amanda treats it as a minor annoyance rather than a life-threatening situation. Sure enough, once Rex holds Phantom's attention, Amanda grabs her knife, stabs Phantom in the knee, and rescues herself.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: From her parents being murdered when she was only a young girl to spending much of her young adult years as a criminal and assassin, it's quite dark and troubled indeed.
* DarkSecret: Her sordid past as Silencia Venomosa is something that she'd much rather be kept secret. The fact that Trigger had no qualms about exposing her in front of her teammates threw everything into jeopardy.
* ADayInTheLimelight: ''Antithesis'' stars Silencia Venomosa as the VillainProtagonist.
* {{Determinator}}: [[LampshadeHanging Lampshaded]] by a quote from ''Film/TheTerminator''.
* DeviousDaggers: The ProfessionalKiller Silencia Venomosa's weapon of choice is the knife, which she prefers for being able to silently kill her targets. Although she tried to distance it from herself after becoming Amanda Claw, old habits die hard and she soon found herself using it again, hinting at her being a darker PragmaticHero compared to her IdealHero boyfriend Rex.
* DiedInYourArmsTonight: [[spoiler:Amanda Claw died in Rex's arms.]]
* DisneyDeath: Twice. [[spoiler:The third time, she wasn't so lucky.]]
** Amanda Claw was last seen attacked by villains, and her torn up uniform was found outside a wrecked police station. Don't worry, Rex, she's alright.
** What's that? Did Perfect Chaos drown Amanda? Don't worry, Rex, it's [[FaceYourFears just an illusion]].
* DivergentCharacterEvolution: She started out very similar to the only other ActionGirl in the RPG, Dromus, due to being a ChainPain ActionGirl, but eventually formed her own distinct character and chose a [[DeviousDaggers different weapon of choice]].
* DontAsk: You probably don't want to know the reason why Amanda knows not to hide dead or unconscious bodies in utility closets.
* ElectiveMute: Amanda could speak all along, but chose not to because she blamed herself (specifically, her own voice) for the deaths of her parents.
* EmotionlessGirl: Especially as Silencia Venomosa, she felt very little emotion.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: During her time as Silencia Venomosa, despite being amoral and ruthless, she did have a few standards. She was disapproving of Walter Breen being too cowardly to meet with her face-to-face; she involuntarily winced when Howard Simmons was verbally abusing Troy [=DeWitt=]; and she outright refused a second job from Simmons when she realized that he had gone too far.
* {{Expy}}: Silencia Venomosa's backstory is heavily inspired by [[Film/KillBill O-Ren Ishii]], and she also draws elements from [[Franchise/{{Terminator}} the Terminator, Sarah Conner]], and [[Literature/TheMillenniumTrilogy Lisbeth Slander]].
* FaceDeathWithDignity: [[spoiler:As someone who joined Dino Attack Team to redeem herself of her crimes, she was very calm and accepting of her death, happy to be reunited with her family in the afterlife.]]
* FacialDialogue: As TheSilentBob, Amanda excelled at this trope and would often communicate solely through her facial expressions alone.
* FauxAffablyEvil: While not evil, per se, Amanda Claw was able to infuriate Trigger by smiling sweetly at him.
* FemaleMonsterSurprise: When Amanda Claw was temporarily mutated by Mutant Dino Serum, Rex and Trouble initially assumed that she was a male Mutant T-Rex. They only realized that she was female once they recognized her behavior as affectionate towards Rex.
* FriendlessBackground: Whether or not Amanda had friends prior to the murder of her parents was never confirmed, but in the following years, the only person she ever considered to be her friend was Bartholomew Enderson.
* FromNobodyToNightmare: Amanda Remous was only a young and innocent girl when her parents were murdered. She would later become one of the most infamous assassins in LEGOLAND.
* GoOutWithASmile: [[spoiler:She smiled when she died, believing that she would be reunited with her deceased family.]]
* HeroicWillpower: Aside from Hyrode, Amanda Claw is the only known individual to have been infected with Mutant Dino serum and fought off the mental effects through sheer willpower alone. [[ForcedTransformation It still transformed her into a Mutant T-Rex, though.]]
* HighOnHomicide: Although she normally feels empty, Silencia Venomosa feels "so alive" when she murders Don Bricassius.

* RecoveredAddict: The 2020 WhereAreTheyNowEpilogue reveals that Erik is overcoming his drinking problems and is now staying sober as TheTeetotaler. He's [[AddictionDisplacement taken up drinking soda instead]], though.
* TrapMaster: His preferred fighting style, especially in the defense of Gold City against the Hybrids, is laying explosive traps that trigger when the enemy comes in.

An extremely unshaven, rather lazy agent who spends his time bowling and drinking. He spent the majority of the war in Antarctica because his superiors thought his codename was stupid, and only brought him in when extra hands were needed.

* AdaptationNameChange: Version 1.1 of the Director's Cut changes his codename to Tech; his InSeriesNickname becomes Techie.
* AdaptationalEarlyAppearance: In the Director's Cut, Tech appears during the Kotua crisis (filling in the role originally played by Banchito), predating his debut during the LEGO Island story arc.
* AdvertisedExtra: Engineer appears in the Director's Cut trailer, in the scene with Landro. However, he only makes brief cameos on the Landro subplot while Sereve and Rev Raptor, the two main characters of the subplot, [[SirNotAppearingInThisTrailer do not appear in the trailer]].
* BewareTheNiceOnes: Engineer is one of the friendlier members of Second Headquarters Squad, but don't think for a second that he won't shoot you if you get in his way. Those turrets aren't designed for incapacitation, after all.
* CoolShades: Engineer wears large shades over his eyes.
* DissonantSerenity: Carries a calm tone of voice as he warns his comrades not to get in the way of his deadly sentry turrets.

A psychotic demolitions expert with an unhealthy passion for blowing things up, Firecracker has no concerns for anyone else or the consequences of his actions, just so long as he can blow something- anything- up.

* DemolitionsExpert: He learned how to use dynamite after being hired by Reliable Excavation Deconstruction, and he uses it as much as he can.
* {{Expy}}: An interesting case. While he was based on a character from the obscure spaghetti Western ''Film/DuckYouSucker'', his depiction isn't so much based on the actual movie's depiction of him as a guilt-ridden ex-terrorist as it is the humorous depictions of him in Atton Rand's WebVideo/HitlerRants videos, where he is shown to be an ax-crazy psycho who loves seeing things explode and has made it his life's ambition to blow up Hitler for reasons unknown.
* FailedaSpotCheck: When Firecracker tried to pull that TakingYouWithMe stunt, he failed to notice that only a small fraction of the Mutant Dino army was actually inside the building at that point.
* HeroicComedicSociopath: Firecracker's tendency to blow everything up is usually PlayedForLaughs.
* MadBomber: Firecracker loves to blow things up. He does not care what it is or if there will be consequences, he is willing to light a stick of dynamite and destroy it. It even got him fired from Reliable Excavation Deconstruction.
* NominalHero: Firecracker could have easily been a horrifying villain if it weren't for the fact that he was working for the heroes.
* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: He is only known as Firecracker.
* TakingYouWithMe: Attempted by Firecracker, who tried to blow up Dino Attack Headquarters (with him still inside) to wipe out the Mutant Dino army, but [[FailedASpotCheck it didn't exactly work out the way he planned.]]
* WhatTheHellHero: Firecracker tried to perform a TakingYouWithMe... by blowing up Dino Attack Headquarters, which is what Dino Attack Team was fighting to defend, while there were doctors, patients, evacuees, Dino Attack agents, and other personnel still inside, an important Teleport Pad on the roof, and only a fraction of the Mutant Dino forces inside the building at that point.
* WrongGenreSavvy: Because of his inspiration, Firecracker is the delusion that he's in a comedy where he can blow stuff up with little consequence.
* YourAnswerToEverything: Give Firecracker a problem, any problem- and I guarantee you 99.9% percent of the time he'll find a way to work [[StuffBlowingUp explosives]] into his solution.

An EgomaniacHunter from France, Gaston believes he's the hero... but he's really just a DirtyCoward and HandsomeLech.

* AscendedExtra: He was briefly mentioned in the comm chatter in ''At War's End'', and then made a physical appearance in ''For Want of Nails''.
* DirtyCoward: Gaston deserts Dino Attack Team during the final battle because he believes that they're doomed to lose. One of his teammates calls him out and even accuses him of this trope by name.
* EgomaniacHunter: He was a big game hunter before the Dino Attack, and he proudly boasts that this makes him the perfect hero in the Dino Attack.
* {{Expy}}: Inspired by Gaston from ''WesternAnimation/BeautyAndTheBeast''.
* TheFriendNobodyLikes: Gaston was in the team up until the final day, but Danny and Francis can't stand him in ''For Want of Nails'' and someone calls him a DirtyCoward in ''At War's End''.
* HandsomeLech: He's handsome and attractive, but the girl he's harassing (who may or may not be fellow Dino Attack agent Belle) keeps refusing his advances.
* PoirotSpeak: He speaks English perfectly well, but occasionally uses French expressions instead (e.g. "au contraire" instead of "on the contrary"). It would be GratuitousFrench if it wasn't his native language.
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: Gaston hates to lose, so when a situation turns sour, he's known to walk out. This ultimately led to him deserting the team during the final battle, believing it was a lost cause.
* StrawMisogynist: Gaston is known for repeatedly harassing women and only caring about their beauty, which earns him the ire of other agents like Danny and Francis.
* WrongGenreSavvy: Gaston insists that being a handsome hunter would make him the perfect hero and love interest in a story like the Dino Attack. Instead, he proves to be hated by his teammates for being a DirtyCoward and StrawMisogynist.

* ChekhovsGunman: Ghost was character that rode on a Fire Hammer with Minerva to the rear guard camp. After Brikman [=McStudz=] reread the ''Dino Attack RPG'' and remembered the existence of Ghost, he reintroduced him as being [[TheMole a spy]] for the Maelstrom for his entire existence.
* KilledOffForReal: He was killed in ''At War's End'' after being revealed as a Stromling spy.

A swashbuckling {{pirate}} from the Tropical Sea, Greybeard grew bored of the refugee facilities and joined the Dino Attack Team in the battle against the mutant dinosaurs.

** When first introduced, Medic was a very reasonable, if easily-agitated, doctor. As more of his backstory was revealed through comments by Alan Pierce, Dr. Luzwheit's sanity and regard for human life seemed to slowly slip away.
** Incidentally, the idea for the rivalry came from a note in Medic's profile that said he was friends with Heavy because the latter's brutality improved his business. Initially it was supposed to be a simple ethical dilemma by which Pierce didn't like Medic because he was more concerned about making money than he was about actually saving his patients. This later built gradually evolved into Pierce becoming (understandably) distrusting of an insane doctor.
* CombatMedic: Medic, along with Zenna and Martinet, is one of the only doctors who is also a Dino Attack agent, and battles Mutant Dinos while he's healing his patients on the battlefield.

A rather shy and mentally insecure semi-religious young doctor. While a capable surgeon, the stress of the war has reduced her into a panicked state of mind in which she desperately tries to find comfort in spirituality.

* ClosestThingWeGot: When Pierce decided to marry Sarah Bishop, the closest thing they had to an actual minister was Shaw, a shy, semi-religious young doctor. Not exactly the best choice but it was either her or Pharisee.

* {{Foil}}: Shaw's insecure but compassionate nature is a sharp contrast to the much more vicious Pharisee. Additionally Shaw is depicted as being incredibly unstable mentally, easily prone to mental breakdowns, also somewhat embarassed by her spirituality, often trying to keep it to herself- Pharisee is much more outspoken about his faith (though granted both are capable of doing their jobs- although Shaw manages to save a few lives while Pharisee's campaign gets several people killed and another man critically injured).
* TheFundamentalist: Averted. The religious aspects of her character were deliberately written to ''avoid'' falling into this.
