* KnifeNut: She always brings out her knife as her WeaponOfChoice on foot. Probably a result of her imitation of Jill who owns a collection of knives.

* CryCute: When she confesses her love to Ange, she starts tearing up, convinced that Ange will never love her back, and even that she'll never be as close a friend to her as Sala. She chides herself for worrying about romance when the world is about to end. But then Ange kisses her anyway, says the world should end if it doesn't want them together, and confesses she needs Hilda just as much as Hilda needs her. The tears, once of sorrow, turn into sheer joy as she happily embraces Ange.

* Deuteragonist: She's one of the good guys and is the deuteragonist of the series.

* BikerBabe: She steals a bike from a gas station in "Bikini Escape".

* AcePilot: A definite sniper example. She excels at long range.

** Not completely her fault, but her hero worship of Jill makes her too obsessive over impressing her, and getting Villkiss. Reaches near-[[TheNeidermeyer Neidermeyer]] levels in "Goodbye From the Gallows" (if not 7 for her attempt to kill Ange for finding out her cosplay hobby secret), when she tells Ange, who has been suspended for escaping Arzenal, that Villkiss has been confiscated from her, even though that mainly applies to luxuries bought with money, and tries to commandeer Villkiss herself against Jill's orders in the next episode when the dragons launch their surprise attack, ending in near catastrophe when Salia is unable to pilot it.

* DespairEventHorizon: After being sent back to Arzenal following her failed reunion, she gets suspended along with Ange. She's lost everything; her Arzenal riches, her hopes of coming back home, and her friends, who she doesn't try explaining herself to. Ange, her cellmate, saves her from the brink with her idea to change the current world order.

* TheDogBitesBack: Maybe not on as direct a basis as Ange, but after getting forcibly taken away from her mother as a child, being turned away when she manages to get back home, and getting beaten by cops, it definitely counts when she gladly agrees to Jill's plan of resistance in "Arzenal Burns" and shoots up some Mana doomtroopers.
* EasilyForgiven: Averted. Ange enumerates the number of reasons why she wouldn't trust Hilda as she is just about to ditch her. It is only after she persists in getting on the ship and reveals to Ange that she wants to go back to her mom that Ange helps her from falling off the ship.

** She ends up as leader of the Norma after Jill willingly steps down in "God's Soul-Searching".

* FaceHeelTurn: [[spoiler:She sides with Embryo, but it doesn't last long.]]

* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: [[spoiler:She decides to bail from the Diamond Rose Knights upon realizing Embryo's true colors]].

* TakingYouWithMe: [[spoiler:She attempts to take Chris with her at the end of "Eve of Destruction" in a non-malicious fashion with a CooldownHug. Fortunately for Rosalie and Chris, Hilda is able to rescue them, allowing them to fully reconcile.]]

* GoMadFromTheRevelation: Once [[spoiler:Embryo]] abandons her, she goes insane to the point that she [[spoiler:attempts to kill everyone in sight]].

* DoesntTrustThoseGuys: Doesn't trust the [=DRAGONs=] after the Arzenal base attack, even reacting in disgust when Vivian returns.
* DudeWheresMyRespect: Isn't amused that the three girls she trained prefer to praise Vivian more than her.
* {{Greed}}: Always tries to earn or win as much money as possible, regardless if it means more work and greater risk to her life.
* GrowlingGut: Falls victim to this after being on the receiving end of a LaxativePrank, where a loud, ominous gurgle from her guts sends her running to the restroom.

* MurderTheHypotenuse: Tries to kill [[spoiler:Ange]] in "Distorted World" to become Embryo's most valued person but Jill fortunately intervenes.

* TheStarscream: A subverted example. Hilda becomes vice captain after Zola's death and frequently challenges Salia's authority though it's more to get under her skin than any real ambition. Then, in "God's Soul-Searching," she mutinies against an increasingly unstable Jill who appoints her to command after she steps down.

* NonuniformUniform: The only one of the troop that has her standard-issue boots rolled down to her ankles.
