* AbusiveParents[=/=]ArchnemesisDad: {{Deconstructed}}; Ken suffers heavy emotional turmoil over what he had been through and what he ends up doing himself, to the point he suffered many a SanitySlippage in the aftermath of trying to cope with each incident [[spoiler:being the murder of his father at his own hands, and his ShellShockedVeteran behavior making him unable to determine friend from foe at home with his wife and son, causing him to put a bullet into his now ex-wife's shoulder and leave a knife scar on Kazuto's cheek. He was able to be bailed by his family, but he had to undergo mandatory rehab in which Silver Naotolis ended up ruining his legs in the process, and he took his own rage out on Chronicler and constantly demeaned him by referring to him as his father, and his missing sister's, surname of Eriksen, and it wasn't until much later on that he realized he is slowly becoming the very thing he hated and he had no means of recognizing it, and ends up crossing the DespairEventHorizon during his last encounter with Silver Naotolis before Chronicler destroys her.]]

* RelativeError: {{Inverted}} and PlayedForDrama... as well as a tiny bit of PlayedForLaughs. [[spoiler:Ken and Kizmel are constantly mistaken for being siblings because of their shared surname, but said surname is an InNameOnly insult Ken had repeatedly called Kizmel and Chronicler in the past [[FantasticRacism because of their AI nature]], and the fact Ken himself only bore the name until he married in which he took his wife's surname as to no longer be associated with whom he considered the Devil. Grandis, as well as anybody actually involved in Kizmel's creation, would consider you a laughing stock if you ever seriously believed Kizmel was even remotely related to Ken in any way at all, noting how [[SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome due to Kizmel's AI mind inhabiting android bodies, she's not related to anyone but herself and Chronicler]].]]

* DoesNotLikeShoes: Ken's prosthetic legs end with fairly over-sized feet, meaning not a single shoe in existence produced by ordinary people can fit him. He still wears pants, but that's because pants have much more leeway than shoes in this particular case. To give Ken some credit, however, his robotic feet are modeled to ''look'' like they're shoes.
