* DeliberateInjuryGambit: Shaw pulls off a rare non-fighting example in "Chuck Verses the Subway". [[spoiler: Chuck notices he has an Intersect and tries to prove this in front of the CIA by throwing a knife at him to prove the SuperReflexes that the Intersect gives him. Shaw manages to turn this around by ''letting himself be impaled by the knife'' and uses this incident to prove that Chuck is insane]].

Dictator of fictional Latin American country Costa Gravas. Four presidents (Gerald Ford, UsefulNotes/JimmyCarter, UsefulNotes/RonaldReagan and UsefulNotes/GeorgeHWBush) issued a kill order on him but failed. Those orders were carried out by John Casey, who Goya calls the "Angel of Death." He gained many enemies, both inside and outside his country, when he decided to allow democratic elections. He is deeply fond of Captain Awesome, the man who saved his life, [[ChivalrousPervert and even fonder of his wife Ellie.]] He also respects Casey, who (unwillingly) gave donated blood to save him, and gives him a new nickname "Angel of Life."

* DefrostingIceQueen: Towards Morgan. Originally she couldn't even remember his name, and shows very little respect for him. She warms up to him significantly after he stands up to her, [[spoiler: and even sleeps with him]].
* FemmeFatale: Her main modus operandi is seduction. She's so good at it that she's even able to get ''Casey'' to drop his guard, even when he's ''completely aware of her intentions''.
* MsFanservice: She spends a ''lot'' of her appearances in her underwear, swimsuits, and sexy cocktail dresses, and very much uses her appearance to advantage.

* EliteMook: When he first showed up, he appeared to be just ordinary muscle for La Ciudad but turned out to be one of Volkoff's key henchmen.

* YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness: Volkoff was none too happy that he was caught and endagered the Hydra network if they CIA discovered what was in his eye. Worse yet, he was caught while body-guarding an arms dealer ''other'' than Volkoff.

* YouLookFamiliar: Willig previously appeared in "Chuck Versus the Tango" as La Ciudad's bodyguard, however WordOfGod confirms that Yuri is ''not'' the same character.
