Everyone points out that, since Paradigm Shift is the only thing that makes Shushu's brute strength work, Yuuki's transformation with her is pretty much worthless. Considering she was hoping to get some mileage out of "rewarding" Yuuki through this, she's naturally disappointed.

* TokenWholesome: The series exempts her from the fanservice it puts the other girls through, and instead plays up her adorableness. Her repayments to Yuuki for controlling his slave form consist of head-pats and sisterly hugs.

* ShamelessFanserviceGirl: She finds Yuuki getting an eyeful of her ''thrilling.''

* SpaceMaster: Her Mato ability is the manipulation of space itself. With but a touch, she can send you hundreds of meters into the air, or rip right past your defenses. She can also use it to essentially teleport herself up to 666 times in a row before she runs out of stamina.
* UnrealisticBlackHole: With her ability, she can create one, as she shows in chapter 20, sucking up a bunch of Shuuki and the commander, Rairen.

* LifeDrain: Tobera's Peach Blessing, Transcience, allows her to take the life force of other living beings, such as plants, to keep herself young and healthy, which explains why she still looks like a teenager despite being a grandma; she can also give any spare life energy she has to other people, allowing them to rapidly heal from injuries. With some preparation time she can target and drain whole crowds of enemies at a fair distance, but with direct contact she can drain an opponent to death in ''moments.''

* OlderThanTheyLook: She can easily pass for being a school-girl, probably late-teenager at oldest, and yet she's old enough to be a grandmother.

* AccidentalPervert: In general, if he can find himself in a compromising position with one of the demon hunters, without intending to do so, it will happen at least once. One early example was not being warned that Himari and Nei were bathing while he was doing the housecleaning, with the bath being an ''outdoor bath'', he winds up walking in on them. Shushu uses this to blackmail him, though that ceases to matter once she falls for him. He tends to end up walking in on or otherwise in a compromising situation with every chief he meets, though in a rarity he rarely gets more than yelled at over it, if even that.

Ren's Peach Blessing is ("The Infinite Universe That Puts Everything Together": Vairocana). It's a strong ability, with it, to deploy mandalas to make use of the eight different powers of eights Buddhas, which appears in her eyes. As of now, the complete nature of her ability is unknown to everyone but her.

* TrainingAccident: Subverted as she really was an accident. During a training session in chapter 66, Fubuki accidentally grabbed onto Yuuki's chain while he was in slave form. Though surprised, she goes along with it as she wants to try Yuuki out.

She's right, but Yuuki then says she's cuter at her normal size (not that her breasts are proportionally any smaller at that size). At this point, she gets so excited that a smash cut has her splashing cold water on her head in the bath.
* CannotSpitItOut: Out of all the girls Yuuki's age who are part of the Seventh Unit, she's the one who's most aware of her feelings for him, but her feelings of inadequacy prevents her from letting Yuuki know about them.

* DidYouJustPunchOutCthulhu: Literally. When Shikoku breaks into Yuuki's bedroom to try and kidnap him, she rushes in and manages to punch the intruder in the face. After Shikoku springs a LotusEaterMachine trap, Shikoku manages to dodge Tenka's attacks, but Shushu realizes she is seeing an illusion, punches right past Shikoku's defenses and hits her so hard, she's literally reduced to a splat on the walls of Yuuki's room, at which point Shikoku's had enough and slinks away. Admittedly this only works because Shikoku was in a very weakened state in order to get past the dorm's barrier, and even then her pride was hurt more than anything else.

* GreenEyedMonster: Literally. She has green eyes, and envies Himari, Kyouka and Tenka for getting erotic with Yuuki.

* PowerPerversionPotential: In chapter 24.9, she turns herself giant to woo Yuuki with her bigger breasts. When Yuuki said she's cuter in her normal size, she's the one flustered and runs off to take a cold shower. In a later chapter she reveals she has learned to enlarge only her breasts for a sneak attack from behind him.

Konomi's Peach Blessing is ("Golden Xing Yi Quan": Beast Power). It allows her to gain the same attributes as a tiger in combat.

* BoringButPractical: She essentially just has a super-charged CharlesAtlasSuperpower, which isn't the flashiest when compared to summoning weapons, cloning, or time manipulation. It is also ''extremely'' straightforward and has little to no drawbacks or conditions -- no one is going dispute her being a chief when she can effortlessly punch out a building-sized Shuuki whenever she wants. During her fight with Yumeji, the latter even mentally commends it as being "simple, but powerful".

* LonelyAtTheTop: Because of Konomi's job as a chief of the Mato Defense Corps, she's on a different compared to everyone else. People are hesitant to approach her, let alone ask Konomi to go on a date with them. That said, [[DownplayedTrope Konomi does have one friend outside of work]], so it's not too bad.

* TheReveal: When she was younger, a massive Shuuki appeared in front of Konomi and a few classmates. While they were cowering in fear, Konomi held her ground. Armed with a wooden board, she was ready to defend herself and her classmates. Just then, Riu arrived and saved the group from the Shuuki. Impressed with her bravery, Riu took her in as a new Mato Defense Corps member.

Yachiho's Peach Blessing is ("Eastern Engraving": Golden Hour). It's an ability that grants her control over time, allowing her to stop or rewind through time depending on what pose she makes, though only for a matter of seconds.

* MageMarksman: In addition to her TimeMaster powers, she fights with a special magically enhanced gun.

* StalkerShrine: When Yuuki, Himari, and Kyouka are invited to sixth division's shelter, he stumbles upon Azuma's bedroom and spots pictures of Himari, of all ages, everywhere. He wisely gets the heck out of Dodge and advises against having Himari see it when Sahara suggests it would be a easy way to get Yachiho to admit she actually does care for her sister.

* TimeMaster: Her main power allows her to rewind time 5 seconds, so if she's not rendered unconscious with an attack, she can undo it, at the cost of her stamina. Her penultimate form allows her to rewind time 10 seconds.
