* MsFanservice: Out of necessity, she often has to reward Yuuki with lewd and erotic acts.

* MafiaPrincess: Varvara was the daughter of two Russian mafia leaders; her parents showered her with love and gifts and had powerful connections to get her a Mato peach illegally. There was also the implication Varvara would've followed her parents' footsteps had Ren not recruited her and their criminal organization not been wiped out for stealing the peach that gave Varvara her powers.

* HoneyTrap: In an attempt to prove she's still superior to Himari, she tries something akin to this in Chapter 66 towards Yuuki in his room, who unfortunately for her was out at the time.

* SuicidalOverconfidence: In chapter 31, they state their intentions to storm the Onmyou Agency and destroy it to get their intentions across and save any other prisoners. While they tamed a lot of Shuuki in preparation for this, they never get the chance to instigate this attack, and later chapters prove that this would've been a ''horrible'' idea for a number of reasons. A) they are hopelessly outnumbered by the Onmyou Agency and the Demon Corps, b) regular Demon Corps soldiers are a match for some their best combatants, with their absolute strongest being the only one at chief-level, and c) with the introduction of [[TheAce Yamashiro Ren]] (who may or may not be in league with the Onmyou Agency), and the six other chiefs (of whom each have incredible power), it's quite clear to see their attack wouldn't have succeeded.

* LonelyAtTheTop: Because of Konomi's job as a chief of the Mato Defense Corps, she's on a different compared to everyone else back at her high school. People are hesitant to approach her, let alone ask Konomi to go on a date with them. That said, [[DownplayedTrope Konomi does have one friend outside of work]], so it's not too bad.

Indeed, while she considers her beautiful and gets flustered, she also considers it an affront to think anything "vulgar" about Kyouka and states she has no need or interest in getting closer to her.

* {{Womanchild}}: Zigzagged. Tobera is the mother of Fubuki and the grandmother of Himari and Yachiho. Despite appearing and acting like a young teen, she can still act her age when necessary, such as when selecting her successor as the family head.

* KarmaHoudini:: Despite ostensibly being the cause of some of the Azuma family's major mental screwups and Himari's insecurities, she gets no real punishment other than a speech from her daughter and getting hit in the head by her. She arguably even accomplished what she wanted to do which was create a new generation of strong Azuma women. That said, she was not a wholly terrible matriarch(at least as far as we've seen) and did encourage Himari once she proved that she did indeed have strength within her.

* AdaptionalDyeJob: his mask and pupils are shown to be gold on the cover of volume 15, while the anime makes his mask grey.

* {{Irony}}: One of the few who has yet to experience Lending, yet the most interested in rewarding Yuuki.

* SignatureHeadgear: The two horn-like decorations she's almost always seen wearing. Their purpose, if any, has yet to be revealed.

* SecondaryColorNemesis: Volume 15 would reveal her uniform as Ren is colored white and purple with a green cape to contrast with the red and yellow uniforms of the Mato corps.

** Pheonix (Yakumo): He gains the ability to fly with four giant wings with extraordinary speed and wind abilities to deal some DeathFromAbove attacks, but his stamina and endurance aren't that great.

A member of the Sixth Division. She's quite an airhead and is constantly exhausted.

* SleepyHead: She falls asleep at the drop of a hat, and is always exhausted. Is she narcoleptic, or is it some other kind of sleep disorder?

Yuuki's older sister who disappeared in a Mato Mishap five years ago. She recently appeared as a Shuuki-like creature, with far more power than she should have. She is the leader of the Former Humans. Her Peach ability is Big Sister Mode: Invincible, a flexible and multi-faceted power.

* PrehensileHair: Her hair serves as a powerful weapon, even able to OneHitKill a giant Shuuki by wrapping around and crushing it into a bloody pulp as she can extend the hair a good hundred feet without issue. She is dexterous enough with it to use it as a extra hand, and can gently cradle as easily as crush or cut. She can also detach it at will, enabling her to shoot it as a sharp projectile.

* ArtEvolution: A very minor example, but the horn on her head looks different in her first appearance compared to her later ones. It is straighter and more cone-shaped as opposed to the original rigid and talon-like design seen in the photo.
