Thanks a ton! Albeit, doesn't this trope apply only if it is easy to restore them to life? The gods in Yuuki don't even have physical bodies anymore.

Given Not Quite Dead has a definition that doesn't fit what has happened with the gods of thunder, is there a better trope to describe it? I'm having trouble finding one. They haven't been sealed, so that leaves out sealing tropes, and they lack the power to do much of anything so that eliminates possession tropes.
