* DropTheHammer: As Fukkuman he mostly fights with a giant mallet.

* PartialTransformation: Since his power is sealed, Keel is only able to manifest his Dragon Ape powers in his right arm. As the story progresses he unlocks the other arm and the tail. [[spoiler: Goes all out in the final battle against Shiva.]]

* TheReveal: Near the end, the true nature of his Dragon Ape form is explained by Shiva: [[spoiler: long ago, the evil Dragon Diabolos fought the Monkey Tail tribe and was slain. As a dying curse, he put a spell on the tribe, so that once every 100 years one of their children would become a "Dragon Ape", carrying his destructive powers and darkness-tainted soul into the world. Should Keel regain his form as he wishes, he'll become a mindless monster.]]

* {{Curse}}: The one behind the birth of the Dragon Ape, a monstrously powerful creature which will spread chaos and destruction as it grows old.

* AlmightyJanitor: Due to how the Adventurer's system works, he is, for most of the story, a level 0 Fighter(ascended to level 10 by the time of the Eight arc), a level even lower than Lavie's, despite the fact that in his introduction he defeated an A-Class monster with ridicolous ease. [[spoiler: In the epilogue, we learn that he's currently lv 50.]]

* BroughtDownToNormal: Shiva's Fuujinka (Human Seal Song) locked away his Dragon Ape powers, reducing him to a normal human form, but he recovers part of his original power thanks to Lavie's songs. [[spoiler: By the end of the series Diabolos' curse has been removed as a side effect of Lavie's Holy Ray and he's back to be a normal Monkey Tail.]]

* TailSlap: The second Dragon Ape feature he manage to release is his tail, allowing him to use it to slap his enemies, maneuver better in midair or to [[BewareMyStingerTail impale them on the spike at the end.]]

* TheHero: The main character of the story who gets more focus since chapter 1.

* BoobsOfSteel: She holds the title of the strongest woman in the country and has the largest pair of boobs amongst the human characters. And before you ask yes, she's a brawler.

* BoobsOfSteel: Yancys is a pretty powerful and successful adventuress who fights in melee and has a large pair of breasts. They shrink all the way to flat when she transforms into Silver.

* BoobsOfSteel: She's the strongest female Monster and has the second largest bust of the manga, right behind another example, Sara.

* BladeOnAStick: He's a specialist with the spear and fights with a long trident. His special attacks are named after the legendary spears Gugnir and Brionac.

* [[WorldsStrongestMan World's Strongest Woman]]: It's also her RedBaron, in reference to her hand-to-hand prowess.

* TheDarkChick: She's the only woman of the Shikyou and one who relies on a quirky combat style and minion control rather than [[TheBrute sheer power]], tactical acumen or [[TheLeader an efficient organization.]]

* GagBoobs: Despite their staggering size, her boobs are almost always perfectly erect, as if she's wearing a push up under her top.
