* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome: Gaige's cybernetic arm is strong enough to smash concrete. However it is not ''durable'' enough to smash concrete without mangling the fingers. While this obviously doesn't ''hurt'' Gaige, it's still inconvenient, hence the [[DropTheHammer hammer]].

* EverythingsBetterWithSpinning: Robotic Rampage gives Deathtrap the ability to lash out with a flurry of attacks – by spinning near an enemy with his claws outstretched.

Her secondary mechanic is Anarchy stacks, which are awarded when she kills an enemy or reloads an empty gun during combat, are lost when she dies or reloads a non-empty gun, and decrease her accuracy while increasing her gun damage; as a result, she works best with close range guns with small clips that don't rely on accuracy. Her skill trees are oriented towards increasing her and Deathtrap's survivability ('''Best Friends Forever'''), increasing her damage output and taking advantage of Shock elemental damage ('''Little Big Trouble'''), and using Anarchy stacks to becoming more powerful ('''Ordered Chaos''').

* AccidentalMurder: When Marcie got first place the science fair [[ScrewTheRulesIHaveMoney by having her father buy off all the judges]], she started gloating and shoved Gaige. Just an honest oversight that they forget to cover in the last moments before releasing her character into the game.
