* LightningBruiser: His original light-based powers as Morningstar allowed him to be both fast and strong, best shown when he was able to overwhelm Kevin with a flurry of punches to his armored body.

** His LifeDrain powers work as a ViciousCycle; the more power he gains, the greater his hunger becomes. After coming into contact with Gwen and absorbing the large quantities of Mana for the first time and later becoming Darkstar, he can no longer sustain himself with low-quality energy.
** While he can LifeDrain more than one being at a time he's less effective at it if he gets ZergRush.

* MadeOfIron: His Darkstar form is extremely durable, where he can shrug off attacks from the Highbreed. A coordinated attack from Ben's Team, which ended in [[AttackOfThe50FootWhatever Humongousaur]] stomping on him, only managed to knock him out.
* ManipulativeBastard: One of the best examples in the series; so far he has managed to play Gwen, Magister Gihill, a Highbreed Lord, Kevin and Charmcaster like puppets.

* MysteriousPast: He is supposedly a rich Plumber's kid yet we never see his parents or learn anything about his past prior to his debut episode. Dwayne [=McDuffie=] suggested that his backstory is likely a ruse of some kind but nothing is confirmed in-series.

* SatanicArchetype: His surname "Morningstar" is used as a translation for Lucifer, he also starts off with [[LightIsNotGood divine light-based powers]] but was using them for evil, not unlike the FallenAngel himself.

* SuperStrength: After attaining his Darkstar form, his loss of speed has been compensated by his increase in strength. He can now tear through steel like tissue and lift up heavy objects with ease.

A Plumber's kid met by Ben, Kevin and Gwen as they were looking for allies to fight the Highbreed invasion. Micheal Morningstar was a handsome, young and rich man with light-based powers when they met him, and quickly agreed to join them. It soon turned out, however, that he was much more sinister than he appears: his powers came from the ability he had to drain energy from people. He had been draining energy from schoolgirls for a long time, turning them into zombies he then used to collect more energy for him. Eventually, he absorbed Gwen's energy, becoming near unstoppable, but this backfired when Zombie Gwen turned against him and took back her energy. This then caused his other zombies to attack him as well and drain most of his powers, leaving him powerless and disfigured. His draining powers ultimately came back stronger, but he remained disfigured. Blaming Ben's team for what happened, he donned a mask and took the alias "Darkstar" before dedicating his efforts to getting vengeance against them.

** Not to mention he's behaving like a [[FantasticDrug drug-addict]] with a dangerously high tolerance as of Ultimate Alien. He even has a withdrawal state [[note]]Darkstar[[/note]], a normal state [[note]]Morningstar[[/note]] and a high state[[note]]When he turns golden[[/note]].
* EnemyMine: Helps Ben and his friends against the Highbreed invasion, and later teams up with Kevin to gain an artifact only to betray him afterwards, and helps out again in Ultimate Alien's first season finale, only to make a failed backstabbing attempt in the end.

** His powers work similarly to Gwen's, at least when she's not using magic. It's actually the affinity their powers have for each other that leads him to be drawn towards Gwen.

* FauxAffablyEvil: He was fairly polite in his first appearance, where he played the hero, with [[DevilInPlainSight no one seeing his true nature except for Kevin]]. Even after his true nature got exposed, he likes to refers to Gwen as "Lovely Gwen" and will sometimes throw in a kind word.

* LightIsNotGood: As Mike Morningstar, who not only was beautiful and blonde, but his powers were mostly represented by golden/yellow light. As Darkstar, his powers now are obviously [[DarkIsEvil dark energy]], but he once almost regained his original appearance, and presumably his powers.
* LightningBruiser: His original light-based powers as Morningstar allowed him to be both fast and strong, best shown where he was able to overwhelm Kevin with a flurry of punches to his armored body.
* LogicalWeakness: His main power is the ability to absorb the life-force of others. Naturally, this has no effect on beings with no life force in the conventional sense such as Ghostfreak.

* RedEyesTakeWarning: It even carries on to his transformations.

* BadassBookworm: This guy is extremely intelligent even by Galvan standards; he could actually build a knock-off Omnitrix and later completed the Ultimatrix (developing the evolutionary function in the process) in a cave with tools provided by Vilgax. He is also shown to be quite skilled in fighting when using his alien forms; when [[spoiler:Vilgax double-crossed him, he successfully destroyed several Humongousaur drones before being taken down.]]

* RedAndBlackAndEvilAllOver: His color scheme.

* GeniusBruiser: WordOfGod states that he has more control over Rath due to his superior intelligence, and thus his personality doesn't change as much as Ben's does while in the form.

* BloodKnight: Much like the rest of her race.
* BrooklynRage: Much like the rest of her race.

* DatingCatwoman: Attea's vested interest in Ben slowly heads in this direction over time, coming to a head when she explicitly falls for Bullfrag. Ben himself notes that the feeling is reciprocated when he's in that state (because he's... well, an Incursean), although this dynamic lingers even when Ben's human, as Attea's [[TakeThatKiss Take That Lick]] can attest.

* VocalEvolution: Creator/KevinMichaelRichardson voiced Milleous in both ''Alien Force'' and ''Omniverse''. But his ''Omniverse'' performance uses a much deeper voice.

** Out of universe, his name is now pronounced as “Al-bay-do”, whereas in [=UAF=], it was pronounced “Al-bee-do” (which is the correct pronunciation).

* AssholeVictim: [[spoiler: Even though he gets trapped inside Charmcaster's bag, it's hard to feel bad for him due to being an [[ChronicBackstabbingDisorder unrepentant backstabber]] and [[EnergyAbsorption draining energy from others]] just to gain power.]]

* EnemyMine: Helps Ben and his friends against the Highbreed invasion, and later teams up with Kevin to gain an artifact only to betray him afterwards, and [[spoiler:helps out again in Ultimate Alien's first season finale, only to make a failed backstabbing attempt in the end]].
* EnergyAbsorption: His signature power. [[spoiler:It doesn't work on Ghostfreak, as he is a ghost-like alien, and therefore has no energy to absorb.]]

** Several episodes also play him up as an evil counterpart to Kevin personality-wise as well as both of there powers based on absorption - this is ''especially'' the case after Kevin [[spoiler: goes energy crazy]] and Gwen seeks consultation from Darkstar for the matter.

* LightIsNotGood: As Mike Morningstar, who not only was beautiful and blonde, but his powers were mostly represented by golden/yellow light. As Darkstar, his powers now are obviously [[DarkIsEvil dark energy]], but [[spoiler:he once almost regained his original appearance, and presumably his powers]].

* ManipulativeBastard: One of the best examples in the series; so far he has managed to play Gwen, Magister Gihill, a Highbreed Lord, Kevin and [[spoiler:Charmcaster]] like puppets.

* OutGambitted: [[spoiler:No one ever suspected he would betray Ben and company after he helped turn Kevin sane again. Oh wait, yes they did.]]

* {{Expy}}: He bears similarities with King Cobra from the MarvelUniverse.

* WasOnceAMan: The Highbreed create [=DNAliens=] by infecting a planet's inhabitants with parasitic Xenocytes that gradually turn them into mindless servants while changing their DNA to accomodate them. Given the Highbreed's intent to take Earth, every single [=DNAlien=] killed by the heroes was actually an innocent civilian.

** That fangirl [[spoiler:ended up being Charmcaster, and in his second appearance, she [[KickTheSonOfABitch finally gives him what he deserves]] once she finally realizes that he doesn't care about her]].

* VillainsWantMercy: He actually begged Kevin for help when he was about to be sucked in the sun. [[KickTheSonOfABitch Guess how that worked out]].

* ActuallyNotAVampire: In his first appearance, he drains the life force from girls he seduces to feed himself, said girls are turned into zombies under his control, and he even lives in a mansion. He is not exactly a vampire, but he is probably the closest thing ''Ben 10'' has to one outside of the Vladats.

* CursedWithAwesome: He is trapped in the form of Ben while retaining his Galvan intelligence, with his own Omnitrix and the same forms to access as Ben; for all his complaining, it still doesn't sound that bad objectively, as it grants him a taller, stronger body than his original, with several alien forms to turn into. The problem is, he ''hates'' his human body, especially since he despises humans and because it gave him Ben's irrational impulses, hormones, and craving for chili fries (though WordOfGod says he does actually like chili fries and is just using the human thing as an excuse).

* AuthorityEqualsAssKicking: They are the ones leading the [[{{Mooks}} DNAliens]], and a single Highbreed can handle Humongousaur in a hand-to-hand fight without any weapon or power.

* AscendedExtra: They were relatively minor villains in ''Alien Force'' and ''Ultimate Alien'', only appearing in 2 episodes in both shows. They return as the main villains of ''Omniverse'''s third arc.
** Attea and Milleous even more so, considering they only appeared in ''one'' episode of the whole ''Alien Force''/''Ultimate Alien'' era. The arc upgrades them to BigBad rank, with Attea as the DragonInChief.

* BeautyEqualsGoodness: Bullfrag (Ben) is significantly more muscular and less warty than the other male Incurseans. WordOfGod justifies this by explaining that most Incurseans are unhealthy due to poor diet, and Bullfrag is a healthy, genetically optimal specimen.

* BareYourMidriff: Her top shows her bellybutton.
