* GlorySeeker: He is very eager to go into battle and fight the Germans, in order to win glory for himself and his fellow Tirailleurs.

* ItsAllMyFault: Blames himself for his incompetence and screwing up his actions. Mason had to lighten him up.

* TheSmurfettePrinciple: Of the five playable characters, she's the only girl.

* AuthorityEqualsAsskicking: Being the PlayerCharacter, Muller is more than capable of fighting on foot.

* KnowWhenToFoldEm: With the US Army closing in around them,[[spoiler:the bridge destroyed by their own side and stranding him and his crew]], and finally [[spoiler:Schröder go off the deep end by simply refusing to surrender]], Muller finally lays down his arms. It's left ambiguous whether or not he succeeds, though, since [[spoiler: Schröder aims his gun at him just before it cuts to black]].

* NiceJobBreakingItHero: Billy infrequently finds a nearby German radio and thought to call for evacuation. He just gave away his and Mason's coordinates!

* ParentalSubstitute: Begins to have this dynamic with Billy near the end of Under No Flag, with the standout example being when Billy tells him [[spoiler: that his father abandoned him after the failed bank job, telling him he was useless, to which Mason firmly reassured him that he is not.]] He even fondly calls him "son" in the end.

The Norwegian Resistance affiliated fighter. She sets of in her mission at a German-occupied power plant to stop the German's production of heavy water used to make atomic weapons and rescue her mother, Astrid.

* BaldBlackLeaderGuy: Becomes the de-facto leader of the Tirailleur unit when their captain is killed by Stukas but gets supplanted by Deme after he gives a rousing speech.

* HistoricalDomaincharacter: He's Charles de Gaulle.
