One of the legendary Four Lords of Pastimers, she is a student of another all-girls' school nearby and introduced by one of Chisato's friends. She dropped by during Episode 4 to hangout with the Pastimers Club while simultaneously weirding them out to an untold degree.

* HiddenDepths: Despite looking and acting like a trashy ganguro girl, the Lord actually made the top 100 in the national mock school entrance exam, is better at games than the Pastimers Club and is a lot nicer than them to boot, letting Hanako use her cleanser after Kasumi and Olivia do a disastrous makeup job on her.

* OldShame: InUniverse, in Chapter 71 Hanako apparently used to be a {{chuunibyou}}, evidenced early in the timeline of her Twitter account after it was discovered by the Newspaper Club, specifically a tweet claiming she needs to retrieve a cartridge of the infamous ''VideoGame/ETTheExtraterrestrial'' game to the year 2036 before the world suffers a "fifth Atari shock" and an economic depression in two years' time. When the club confronts her about it (under the assumption that she is a time traveler), a flustered Hanako berates herself that she should have erased the tweet years ago.

* InelegantBlubbering: Whenever she is humiliated, Hanako is frequently reduced to a tearful wreck, such as after enduring a humiliation game of sugoroku with her clubmates and after easily losing to Kasumi at an arm wrestling match.

* OnlySaneMan: Olivia is often the only one with her head screwed on properly, and is more often than not completely flabbergasted by whatever antics Hanako and Kasumi get into. Apart from her [[{{Fauxreigner}} trying to be a foreigner]], she also doesn't have any major "issue", unlike her two friends.

* NiceGuy: Always willing to lend a helping had, even if it's not needed or asked of him.

* CultureBlind: Hanako doesn't know what ''shogi'' really is, and grew up under the false impression that it was a sport where one fires FrickinLaserBeams from their butt. It's revealed that this explanation was given to her by her family butler Maeda, who ''can'' fire laser beams from his butt.

* DoesNotLikeMen: Kasumi is an extreme androphobe, having the assumption that men would fire FrickinLaserBeams from their groin when turned on. When she meets Maeda for the first time, she reacts to him suddenly appearing behind Hanako by slashing at him with an umbrella. Given that she's not fazed by Hanako's younger brother Kentarou and (possibly) Tsugumi, however, it may have also have to do with being distrustful around sketchy men, such as Maeda and Olivia's otaku brother.

* SuicideAsComedy: When Kasumi comments on how she got her large brests through genetics, Hanako tries to drown herself in the club's kiddie pool, claiming she is going to reincarnate from a buxom woman's womb because her mother happens to also be a washboard.

* TruthInTelevision: When Hanako smells her armpit, she says that Olivia has apocrine sweat glands. East Asians have very few apocrine sweat glands compared to Caucasians and Africans, and thus have little to no body odor. Therefore, it makes sense that Olivia, a Caucasian, would have bad body odor compared to the Japanese Hanako and Kasumi. Also, as with most people with bad body odor, she doesn't quite notice her own funk, and also happens to be at the age where peers of her ethnicity (13-14 years old) start using deodorant. The problem is that not not only does Olivia have few, if any, fellow teenage Caucasians around to let her know, but that she also lives in a society where simply ''pointing out'' her personal hygiene (or lack thereof) can be considered impolite.

* ExoticEyeDesigns: She has star-shaped pupils whenever she's dolled up as a GyaruGirl. It's likely that these are just contacts, though, since she has normal pupils whenever she has to take her makeup off.

* ReallyGetsAround: She's secretly dating all six members of the neighboring all-boys school's own Student Council. This apparently leads to the worst "bloodshed" in the school's history. However, that's [[NoodleIncident a story for another time]].

* ModestyShorts: Like Hanako, Olivia wears gym shorts underneath her skirt that could be seen during the same scene where Hanako revealed hers.

* WhoWearsShortShorts: Hanako wears sports shorts underneath her skirt, as shown when the trio's Tsugumi-skirt-peeking shenanigans went wrong.

* WhoWearsShortShorts: Like Hanako, Olivia wears gym shorts underneath her skirt that could be seen during the same scene where Hanako revealed hers.

* {{Troll}}: Hanako is prone to playing pranks on Kasumi and Olivia simply to amuse herself. An example is when she said nothing when Olivia, who she knows cannot speak English, was chosen for the English speech contest because she thinks it's funny. More often than not, this backfires on her, such as when she rigged a word guessing game in order to make Kasumi and Olivia say "poo", only to be forced to say the word herself.
* WhoWearsShortShorts: Hanako wears sports shorts underneath her skirt, as shown when the trio's Aozora-skirt-peeking shenanigans went wrong.

* StrongerThanTheyLook: Tsugumi easily defeats all three Pastimers in an off-screen arm wrestling match in the OVA.

* AintTooProudToBeg: Gets down and grovels on his knees after failing to retrieve Olivia's confiscated manga twice. Amazingly, this ''works'', which was probably in large part due to him creeping out Takayanagi-sensei far more than she could stomach, as {{lampshade|Hanging}}d by Hanako.

* BigFun: Considered to be this by Olivia, who [[BigBrotherWorship greatly adores]] him despite not being able to grasp a single word he speaks.
* ChivalrousPervert: In spite of his kinks towards middle-school girls and lack of filter, he is nothing but extremely polite and never once goes past talking about it. One of the most upsetting and surprising things Hanako finds about him is how cordial and reassuring he is when texting.

* HiddenDepths: Despite his stereotypical otaku tendencies, he graduated with honors from academy, uses very eloquent vocabulary bordering on PurpleProse, and actually holds two [=PhDs=] despite only being in his early thirties.

* SesquipedalianLoquaciousness: He is very verbose and descriptive, usually talking at extreme lengths about certain subjects. Reaches a logical conclusion when his entire speech in Episode 11 starts out normally, then gradually fast forwards to ridiculous speeds as the terminology gets fancier.

* SugarAndIcePersonality: He's generally very reserved and cool toward his older sister, but at the end of the first special admits to himself that he really enjoyed spending time with Hanako (even though he'll never admit it to her).

* ComicalOverreacting: When the Pastimers Club is threatened to close, which is her only claim to having a social life, she gets on her hands and knees and hysterically grovels to save it. Failing to secure ¥10,000 (about $100) for the club funds she wanted to use to buy toys and fun trips results in her crying (despite being wealthy enough to easily cover the expenses).
