Melissa Mipson (better known as "Mipsy") is the "third most popular girl" at school, after Courtney Gripling (the most popular) and Miranda Killgallen (the second most popular).

** In the episode "Ginger's Solo," she cheers Ginger up when Ginger gets upset over Sasha having a girlfriend.

However, it's been shown that Miranda really only sticks by Courtney because of her status as the most popular girl in school--she was very quick to ditch Courtney for Hope when the latter usurped the former's status as "most popular girl in school." Miranda can also be pretty mean to Mipsy when they're not scheming together and Miranda's made it pretty clear that she considers Mipsy to be lower on the totem pole than her when it comes to their school's social scene.
