* VocalEvolution: In the early episodes, his voice was somewhat a kid-like type. This was later changed to a firm, and a bit older voice. This may be down to his voice actress aging, however.

* CousinOliver: He is the youngest member of the team once the anime was a decade and was made to make Melonpanna be more nicer as to take her bratty traits onto him. Despite that, Creampanda proves to be a reaible character in the show.

* ContrastingSequelMainCharacter: Unlike the other 5 heroes, Creampanda is the first one to be the youngest in both age and episode wise. He is also the first hero since Shokupanman not to be created by Uncle Jam. Also like Shokupanman, Creampanda is the first hero not to be introduced in a 100th episode (Melonpanna and Rollpanna debuted in epiodes 200 and 300 respectivly).

* VerbalTic: Because he is a cat, he can often say "nyan" more than a few times.

* TheCharmer: He has an interested of being suave to the pretty ladies he interacts with.

A hamburger-headed Cowboy who travels in the dessert. He helps protects the town of Seibu. He travels with his horse Pickles.

A friendly man who travels and gives his signature food, naganegi. [[spoiler: He's actually the masked hero Naganegiman]].

* HandBehindHead: He would often do this whenever someone talks about [[spoiler: Neganegiman]].
* ImprovisedZipline: In one short, he left his basket of green onions at Princess Doremi's castle grounds, so he uses his scarf as a zipline.

A tiny cowboy ant. He was first send by Baikinman to deal with Anpanman as he thinks he's an enemy, but later learned the truth

* BreakoutCharacter: He and Komusubiman were popular that they appeared in a few film shorts. They even had a short-lived spinoff!

* PowerUpFood: Eating umeboshi can make powerful.

* AllAsiansWearConicalStrawHats: Similar to Omusubiman, can also use this as either a FlyingWeapon or to ride on.

* PinballProjectile: Whenever his marbles hits on Baikinman's ship or tank, they'll ricochet around.

A woman who makes her signature food, Tuna Rolls. She is also an ally towards Anpanman.

* CrazyPrepared: Whenever someone's hungry, he'll pull out his cart out of thin air and make his famous dish.

Uncle Jam's assistant. She helps out on making goods and sewing the heroes' capes whenever they get snagged.

The pet dog to the Bakery. He was first lost in the woods after his original owner left him, but Anpanman soon founded him and became part of the family since then.

* TheNoseKnows: Because hes' a dog, he can identify where anyone or anything is. He can also sniff out food.

A living tube of toothpaste who helps protects others from having cavities and toothaches.

* GratuitousEnglish: He would say "Good Morning!" whenever he shows up.

* MistakenIdentity: In his debut episode, everyone blames him for giving the germ brushes. Where in reality, it was Bakinman in disguise giving the affected brushes.
* NeatFreak: While not a complete one, he does try to help others preventing cavities.

* ButtMonkey: Suffered from this along with Cheese when they spend the day with Princess Durian.

* CuteBruiser: Despite not being the strongest, he still likes to be determine and fight.

* PunnyName: a portmanteau of "Cream pan" and "panda".

* RockPaperScissors: Pretty much his main attack since his head resembles a giant hand. This attack can sometimes work.
* UseYourHead: Pretty much his main method of attack, since his head is shaped like a head.

The owner of the bakery where Anpanman lives. He is very good at making beard and is also mechanic.

** WeaponizedCar: While it doesn't have weapons, it does a extended punching glove that pop out from the nose.

* MistakenIdentity: There are a few times that Baikinman would often disguise himself as Uncle Jam. One was to convince Tanuki-Oni that Butterko was in trouble, and another was steal a wish from the Lamp Giant. He even did this in the Anpanman film 2011 to kidnap Kokorin in his fake Anpanman mobile and transform into his berserk form to rampage his home city.

* AmbiguouslyLesbian: She has only ever experienced what seems to be attraction to other female characters. In the movie ''Secret of the Cloud-sailing Castle'' it is ''very heavily'' implied there is something in the air between her and Laura.

** Her heart of darkness can also be triggered when Baikinman triggered something she gets upset with or with his mecha.
* BigLittleSister: Interestingly, though she is mentally and biologically more mature than Melonpanna, Rollpanna is technically the younger of the sisters as she was born out of the oven ''after'' Melonpanna. Nonetheless, Melonpanna refers to her as her older sister.

* CoolBigSis: Melonpanna and Creampanna sees this on her.

* LethalChef: In the 1997 film, she had trouble trying to make Anpanman's new head. She eventually gotten better.

* SpinAttack: Her main attack with her golden gymnastics ribbon. She can use this to wrap her enemies or create [[TornadoMove tornadoes]].

The lone female of the main heroes. She was created by Uncle Jam after they founded "The Flower of Love" with the help with same shootings stars that created Anpanman.

* ThemeMusicPowerUp: Similar to Anpanman, he has one whenever he gets refilled with curry. The only major difference is that there's different music and they're fireworks in the background.

* DatingCatwoman: With Dokinchan, though she's in disguise.
* LargeHam: Pretty much whenever something good happens, he'll explain how it's so beautiful. Especially when it's Christmas, he likes to explain a lot why it's wonderful. This gives Currypanman the itches.

* LiteralSplitPersonality: One episode has him with two clones of himself with different personalities.

* NiceHat: He would often wear a beret when he paints. His pink clone also wore one as well.

* SuperpoweredEvilSide: Shokupanman became Black Shokupanman to fight Anpanman along with Black Currypanman and Black Rollpanna when Black Rollpanna turned both Shokupanman and Currypanman into evil using her black roll ribbon only in the 2002 film.

* ArtEvolution: His Eyes became bigger.

* BabyTalk: Averted when he was first born. However played straight when he transforms into one.

* BilingualDialogue: In the Edutainment specials. At first, he had trouble understanding English in the early specials. He seems to get better when helped translate what Alpoo and Betan were speaking to Melonpanna.

* DressingAsTheEnemy: He dressed up Baikinman in Don Ki Hotate's debut episode so he can help him out that he's good at battle.
* EdibleThemeNaming: He is based on a anpan, a Japanese sweet roll most commonly filled with red bean paste.
* EleventhHourSuperpower: There are a few times when he becomes more powerful than before. This is mostly because a change of one the ingredients that Uncle Jam and Butterko would often do, mostly because of Baikinman's involvement. However, this only last either for the rest of the episode, or when he gets a new head.

** Another example was when after Baikinman spoils Anpanman's new head with coffee, Uncle Jam decided to make a new head, but in coffee flavor, which makes not only Anpanman powerful, but also in a different color.

* IdealHero: Takashi Yanase based him after his experience during [[UsefulNotes/WorldWarII the war]] as he was someone who would help give food to hungry people.

* LargeHam: While not always, he did become one when his head was coffee flavor.

* TheNeedless: He doesn't eat any type of food. [[WordOfSaintPaul The official website]] states that the filling inside his head keeps him sustenance. Although there was a scene in one of the early edutainment specials where he's about to eat an ice cream cone.

* NoNose: His nose can be detachable, as seen from Rakugaki Kozou's debut episode. Though this never happened again, as a later Edutainment special shows him getting stung by a bee.
* OnlySaneMan: He can be like this if Shokupanman and Currypanman don't get along.

* SecretKeeper: He kept his secrets about [[spoiler: Naganegiman's real identity]] since after his debut episode. He and the rest of the Bakery staff kept that secret since then.

* StaticCharacter: Despite being the main character and being an all-loving superhero, there isn't much other character depths in him. Though it is {{justified}} since the staff wanted to focus on the other supporting cast.
** NotSoStoic: Although there are a few times where he might display other emotions besides being happy, sad, and anger.

** MenDontCry: He almost cried in the 2007 film short when Horako was telling a [[TearJerker tear-jerking]] about her past. He also did this in one of the early edutainment specials where he cried because he dropped his ice cream cone.
