to:

* AnnoyingYoungerSibling: To Jen.Jen finds him really annoying due to his jokes, disgusting habits, and insults.

* TheDitz: A running gag is that he's pretty stupid and thinks up foolish ideas. In fact one story was actually titled "The Crazy, Bad, Dumb Idea", in which he had the idea to [[{{Balloonacy}} fly with balloons]].
* DoesNotLikeSpam: "Brussels Sprouts" reveals that he hates both Brussels sprouts and custard.

* NightmareFetishist: Enjoys writing stories in which cute animals die, fantasising about being infested with a fungus, and similar disturbing things.
* ThePrankster: He likes to play practical jokes, such as pretending to die in "Playing Dead".
* SweetTooth: He ''loves'' all desserts except for custard and will go to great lengths to acquire candy.

* NightmareFetishist: Downplayed; she doesn't like grotesque things as much as Andy, but she does enjoy his gory story in "Kitties, Puppies, and Ponies".

* CharacterTics: Apparently, the father always whistles in a subdued way. This is what tips Andy off that he's only pretending to think he's dead in "Playing Dead" -- his whistle sounds too loud and cheerful.

* AlphaBitch: She's got a popular boyfriend and has loads of friends, but is nasty to her younger brother. Justified on that last one.

* BlackComedyAnimalCruelty: After Sooty literally eats Andy and Danny's homework, they put him through all sorts of hell to make him throw it up. This includes making the dog smoke cigarettes.

Not So Different has been renamed, and it needs to be dewicked/moved

* NotSoDifferent: Lisa isn't as pure as Andy builds her up to be. She challenges him to a marshmallow-eating competition in "Chubby Bubbies", admits that she enjoyed the bloodier and gorier version of "Kittens, Puppies and Ponies" and [[spoiler: Lisa co-wrote the parody of MacBeth with Andy and Danny.]]

* NotSoDifferent: "Playing Dead" has Andy fake his death to avoid going to school. His parents decide to call his bluff and try to bury him in their backyard.

Characters from Andy Griffiths' ''Just...!'' series. If you're looking for the character sheet for ''WesternAnimation/WhatsWithAndy'', see [[Characters/WhatsWithAndy here]].

! Andy Griffiths
An overly-creative pre-teen who gets on the nerves of everyone around him.
----
* AbhorrentAdmirer: To Lisa.
* AccidentalPervert: In "The Last Jaffa" Andy crawls around the floor of a cinema trying to find a chocolate ball, which leads to him accidentally sticking his head up a dress.
* AnnoyingYoungerSibling: To Jen.
* AntiHero: Andy is a trickster, annoying, stupid, crazy, disgusting and outright shocking. Really, the only reason he's considered any kind of hero is because the stories are told from his point of view.
* AttractiveBentGender: Andy once trolled Jen by cross-dressing and imitating her up until the school dance. His disguise was so good Craig fell for him.
* ClassClown: Tries to be this, but it's implied that his classmates find him just as irritating as his family does.
* CompanionCube: Andy is very attached to a rubber ducky. Said rubber ducky becomes the mascot for "Just Disgusting!".
* DoggedNiceGuy: Andy has the worst luck when it comes to impressing Lisa. She always gives him another chance, which he blows the very next time she appears.
* EverythingsBetterWithMonkeys: Andy tries to crash Jen's birthday party dressed as a gorilla. To his dismay, he can't get out of the costume.
* {{Expy}}: Andy is [[Film/FerrisBuellersDayOff Ferris Bueller]], minus the charisma and intelligence needed to actually pull off his schemes.
* LaserGuidedKarma: While he manages to get on everyone's nerves, it turns out Andy can be completely outdone by children younger than himself, with his reputation preventing any adult from taking his side (and that's assuming they aren't just getting back at him).
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: In "Beat the Bomb!" Andy pranks some poor kid into believing he'd just won $500. The boy says his family could really use the money since his dad died. Out of guilt, Andy decides to give him the $500 prize money he'd just won.
* NakedPeopleAreFunny: Andy has a habit of getting naked at the worst possible moment. Mr and Mrs Bainbridge are usually on the receiving end of it.
* UnsympatheticComedyProtagonist: Due to a lack of any real foresight, Andy's schemes tend to backfire on him in the most spectacular ways possible. More often than not it's his own fault.

! Danny Pickett
Andy's idiotic sidekick.
----
* BumblingSidekick: Any time Andy tries to get him in on one of his schemes, Danny ends up causing Andy a load of pain.
* TooDumbToLive: Danny. At one point Andy was able to convince him that some jellybeans were "invisi-pills".
* WithFriendsLikeThese: Andy and Danny are far from the best of friends. Andy only hangs out with Danny because he doesn't have any other friends. Danny only hangs out with Andy because he's too stupid to see that Andy's a bad influence.

! Lisa Mackney
Andy's one-sided crush.
----
* NiceGirl: Despite Andy making a fool of himself every chance he gets, Lisa never completely rebuffs him.
* PropheciesAreAlwaysRight: Apparently believes this, as she received a book on fortune-telling from Andy that he'd tampered with to tell her he was her ideal match. She fell for it.
* TheOneThatGotAway: It's pretty much a given that Andy will never, ever, be able to woo Lisa.

! Andy's Parents
Possibly the longest-suffering parents in the world.
----
* ButtMonkey: Every story they're in has them both being pushed beyond their mental threshold.
* NotSoDifferent: "Playing Dead" has Andy fake his death to avoid going to school. His parents decide to call his bluff and try to bury him in their backyard.
* RageBreakingPoint: In "Are We There Yet?" Andy's dad is pushed to the point where he dumps Andy out in the middle of nowhere in order to humble him.
* TakeAThirdOption: In both "Would You Rather...?" and "SHUT UP!" , Andy gives his parents an ultimatum. His mother is smart enough to know that doing this will disappoint Andy.

! Jen Griffiths
Andy's older sister.
----
* AlphaBitch: She's got a popular boyfriend and has loads of friends, but is nasty to her younger brother. Justified on that last one.
* AwLookTheyReallyDoLoveEachOther: In "A Terrible Christmas and a Crappy New Year", one of Andy's pranks ends up working in Jen's favour. Her response is to thank him for it, pretty much the only time they're not at each other's throats.

! Sooty
Andy's dog.
----
* AxCrazy: In "Mudmen" Sooty inexlicably tears off Andy's bathroom towel and shreds it up, before doing the same to his dad.
* BlackComedyAnimalCruelty: After Sooty literally eats Andy and Danny's homework, they put him through all sorts of hell to make him throw it up. This includes making the dog smoke cigarettes.
* ExtremeOmnivore: As standard for a dog. He once literally ate Andy's homework.

! Mr. & Mrs. Bainbridge
The uptight boss of Andy's father and his equally-uptight wife.
----
* TheComicallySerious: They're not the least bit lively.
* MotorMouth: Mr Bainbridge is very talkative, at least until Andy's antics come to their logical conclusion.
* RunningGag: Every book has at least one story involving them confronting Andy in the nude.

! Craig Bennet
Jen's boyfriend.
----
* BigManOnCampus: Has this reputation, as his presence at the school dance in "Copycat from Ballarat" was considered a focal point.
* JerkJock: He's threatened to beat up Andy every time they interact.

! Ms. Livingstone
Andy, Danny and Lisa's new teacher.
----
* CoolTeacher: She's traveled to numerous countries and even worked in major films before becoming a schoolteacher.
* HippieTeacher: She's traveled the world and isn't the least bit fazed by Andy's weirdness.
* TheLostLenore: She's a widow. An unfortunate mountain-climbing accident forced to her subsist off her husband's corpse to survive.
