He wins his fight against [[spoiler:Nike]] because he took nothing worse than a few punches and kicks directly. Everything else he dodged. It's clear that if any of Nike's real attacks had hit, Kazu would have been toast.

** TheLancer -- Kazu: Ikki's best friend whose lack of confidence provides a contrast to his HotBlooded leader. He also constantly lives in Ikki's shadow and admits to being "a nobody" in comparison.
** TheBigGuy -- Buccha & Onigiri: respectively, the biggest member of the team who tends to rely on strength more than anything and the least skilled team member who can only rely on a surplus of raw power.
** TheSmartGuy -- Agito: the most intelligent and tactically-inclined member of the team.

Itsuki Minami is the male protagonist of the series. Prior to the beginning of the series, he was established as the leader of his [[JapaneseDelinquents school's gang]], the East Side Gunz. There, he earned the nickname "Babyface", which has followed him into the A-T world. He has shown an extreme amount of talent with the Air Trek, to the point of being a genius at it. He is the founder of the team Kogarasumaru as well as its leader. He is the current Storm King of the Hurricane Road.

To settle the question Onigiri asks Ikki to close his eyes and try to visualize the face of the girl he likes. Cue two-page spread of [[spoiler:Kururu Sumeragi]]. To say Ikki is shocked would be an understatement. It's subverted later, though. [[spoiler:As of chapter 327, Kururu is ''not'' the one whom Ikki will "tune" with (tuning is quite close to ''having sex'', and performed more often than not by {{Official Couple}}s), since she's actually holding the aircraft carrier they're in together. After he thanks Kururu gently for her hard work, Ikki actually asks ''Ringo'' to tune in with him. So in the end, Ringo became the VictoriousChildhoodFriend.]]

He comes off as a moron, but he shows to be a charismatic leader and a brutal fighter and he can be a genius when the situation calls for it. He will go out of his way to help anyone in trouble and always shows mercy to a defeated enemy.
