Itsuki Minami is the male protagonist of the series. Prior to the beginning of the series, he was established as the leader of his [[JapaneseDelinquents school's gang]], the East Side Gunz. He is the founder of the team Kogarasumaru as well as its leader. He is the current Storm King of the Hurricane Road.

Agito, Akito, and Lind Wanijima are the three personas inhabiting the body of Kaito Wanijima's younger brother.
The youngest and dominant persona, Agito was created by Akito to cope with the mental stress created by his pacifist nature and responsibilities as Fang King. As such, his strength is derived from his desire to protect Akito. He is [[AloofAlly aloof]], [[SirSwearsALot foul-mouthed]], and [[AxCrazy violent]], but despite this, his great skill and surprising intelligence make him a valuable asset to Kogarasumaru. Eventually, he warms up to the rest of the team, and even gets involved in their antics from time to time.
Akito was the dominant personality prior to Agito's creation and his polar opposite in almost every aspect. He's timid, gentle and feminine both in behavior and appearance. Nonetheless he is even more frightening than Agito [[BewareTheNiceOnes when angered]].
Lind is the third personality that comes out when the other two are having trouble, and is far more [[{{Badass}} powerful]] and [[AxCrazy violently proactive]] than Agito. He's ruthless, sadistic, disdainful, and has a playboy attitude towards women. [[spoiler:He is actually the first personality of the body and was initially believed to be a copy of [[{{Jerkass}} Kaito's personality]]. It was revealed in chapter 300 that this personality is in fact that of Gazelle, one of the original Gravity Children and Akito and Agito's mother.]]

In reality, he is hard-working and dedicated, and a competent fighter and Storm Rider.

* FragileSpeedster: Taken UpToEleven after he [[TookALevelInBadass takes sufficient levels in badass]]. At one point he moved faster than the eyes of two king class riders could follow, then said something along the lines of "oops, silly me, I forgot to unlock my back wheels." He wins his fight against [[spoiler:Nike]] because he took nothing worse than a few punches and kicks directly. Everything else he dodged. It's clear that if any of Nike's real attacks had hit, Kazu would have been toast.
* {{Foil}}: His is Nike. Both he and Nike have undying loyalty to a wind rider. They are both the number two of their group. But while Kazu is a FragileSpeedster, Nike is a MightyGlacier. Nike is a gravity child while Kazu is normal. Kazu had been on the losing side of almost every single fight he'd ever been in, but that only motivated him to do better. On the other hand, Nike had always been ridiculously strong and impossible to defeat, and when he realized that he had lost to Kazu, he completely lost it. And while Kazu depended on his friends and gained strength from their bonds, Nike was always alone except for a person who constantly manipulated him, making him powerful, but also extremely brittle.
* HeroicSelfDeprecation: He has some crushing self-esteem issues. He gets over them spectacularly in his fight with Nike.
* ItsPersonal: Kazu has hated Nike and wanted nothing more than to kill him after he [[spoiler:murdered Spitfire. It gets played with later: despite everything Nike has done, Kazu finds he has trouble hating Nike because of the way Sora manipulated his brother into becoming nothing more than a killing machine with no free will, and he even feels a little sorry for him. He even begs Nike to say something so unforgivable that Kazu can hate him enough to kill him, because knowing how Nike became the way he was had defanged his hatred.]]

Mihotoke Issa, a.k.a. Fats Buccha, is a heavily-built, tanned fighter who specializes in close combat. He frequently uses his powers to peer through walls into women's bathing area and through their clothes and characterized as a pig.
Onigiri rides his very own road, the Smell Road. It utilizes Onigiri's body odor to distort an opponent's senses and create illusions. It is very disgusting.

Ine Makigami stated that she saw potential in Yayoi as a link-tuner, even mistaking Yayoi for the team's tuner. Itsuki Minami is the male protagonist of the series. Prior to the beginning of the series, he was established as the leader of his [[JapaneseDelinquents school's gang]], the East Side Gunz. Agito, Akito, and Lind Wanijima are the three personas inhabiting the body of Kaito Wanijima's younger brother.
The youngest and dominant persona, Agito was created by Akito to cope with the mental stress created by his pacifist nature and responsibilities as Fang King. As such, his strength is derived from his desire to protect Akito. He is [[AloofAlly aloof]], [[SirSwearsALot foul-mouthed]], and [[AxCrazy violent]], but despite this, his great skill and surprising intelligence make him a valuable asset to Kogarasumaru. Eventually, he warms up to the rest of the team, and even gets involved in their antics from time to time.
Akito was the dominant personality prior to Agito's creation and his polar opposite in almost every aspect. He's timid, gentle and feminine both in behavior and appearance. Nonetheless he is even more frightening than Agito [[BewareTheNiceOnes when angered]].
Lind is the third personality that comes out when the other two are having trouble, and is far more [[{{Badass}} powerful]] and [[AxCrazy violently proactive]] than Agito. He's ruthless, sadistic, disdainful, and has a playboy attitude towards women. [[spoiler:He is actually the first personality of the body and was initially believed to be a copy of [[{{Jerkass}} Kaito's personality]]. It was revealed in chapter 300 that this personality is in fact that of Gazelle, one of the original Gravity Children and Akito and Agito's mother.]]

* BloodKnight: Oddly enough, he's also the strategist. He'll plan out how to shred his opponents, make sure that it's likely to work, ''then'' he'll thoroughly enjoy himself while he does it.

* TheDeterminator: He isn't as pronounced as severe cases like Ikki or Nike, but Agito refuses to give up. In his battle with Thor, for example, he cuts his own legs in order to render his opponent's technique harmless and he keeps going.

* EtTuBrute: Akira turning on him and siding with his girlfriend, whom Agito saw as nothing more than a ManipulativeBitch, really hit him hard.

It's clear that if any of Nike's real attacks had hit, Kazu would have been toast.

Nike is a gravity child while Kazu is normal. Kazu had been on the losing side of almost every single fight he'd ever been in, but that only motivated him to do better. On the other hand, Nike had always been ridiculously strong and impossible to defeat, and when he realized that he had lost to Kazu, he completely lost it. And while Kazu depended on his friends and gained strength from their bonds, Nike was always alone except for a person who constantly manipulated him, making him powerful, but also extremely brittle.

Mihotoke Issa, a.k.a. Fats Buccha, is a heavily-built, tanned fighter who specializes in close combat. His elements of character design, especially the three lines on his forehead, are based off the wrestler Wrestling/AbdullahTheButcher. Before joining Kogarasumaru, he was the leader of the team Night Kings (Yaou) and savagely beat down Kazu and Onigiri. After losing to Ikki in a Hurdles match, [[DefeatMeansFriendship he becomes good friends with Ikki, Kazu, and Onigiri]] and becomes a founding member of Kogarasumaru. Big, intimidating, and surprisingly intelligent, Buccha has deep technical knowledge and analytical skills when it comes to A-Ts, but he suffers from a crippling lack of confidence.
Buccha rides his own unique road called the The Rock Road (not to be confused with the Gaia Road, which it is something of a derivative of) which emphasizes physical hand-to-hand attacks enhanced by his A-T's momentum.

Onigiri is one of Ikki's childhood friends. He is 15 years old and a part of Kogarasumaru. His head looks like a riceball (Onigiri in Japanese, [[MeaningfulName hence the name]]). Onigiri is a pervert whose imagination is so potent that he can as good as see through anything if there's an attractive girl behind it. He frequently uses his powers to peer through walls into women's bathing area and through their clothes and characterized as a pig.
Onigiri rides his very own road, the Smell Road. It utilizes Onigiri's body odor to distort an opponent's senses and create illusions. It is very disgusting.

Emily is part of the track team together with Yayoi Nakayama. She has short dark brown hair, sometimes depicted as black itself, along with dark brown eyes. Has a [[StalkerWithACrush big crush]] on Kazu.

Even though her Air Trek skills aren't that great, she seems to be able to summon up super strength and endurance, from taking hits from powerful Storm Riders and brushing them off easily to delivering extremely powerful kicks and wrestling moves, through her pure strength of will and "ThePowerOfLove".

As such, she is Kogarasumaru's TeamMom and she looks after the rest of the team, especially when they get so focussed on training that they forget to eat or rest. [[AllGirlsWantBadBoys She has a crush on Agito]], who [[{{Jerkass}} surprisingly]] [[OddCouple has no problems with this]]. Oddly enough, she has the ability to communicate with Ikki's crow. She also has the ability to tell the exact time, down to a second -- a trait that is shared by the more affluent tuners of Tool Toul To. Ine Makigami stated that she saw potential in Yayoi as a link-tuner, even mistaking Yayoi for the team's tuner. During Kogarasumaru's battle against the original Sleeping Forest in the Inorganic Net, when Agito got injured, she [[spoiler:tunes him back to health and finally completes the Fang Regalia that had been merged into his A-Ts]].
