* LastNameBasis: While Vivi addresses most people by their first name, Ranma is an exception -- he makes a bad first impression on her with his apparently-unprovoked hostility toward Kellensea, and Vivi shows her disdain for him by referring to him as "Saotome". This sticks even after she gets over the bad first impression.

* DetectiveAnimal: Becomes this in ''Toontown Showdown'', being the one leading the investigation towards many of the deaths that've happenned, and fashioning himself after a detective with a detective hat.
