And then there's Hong Meiling AKA China, whose name is so hard to remember (due to the different ways the Kanji can be read in Japanese and Chinese), they turn it into her FanNickname, and even the residents of the Scarlet Devil Mansion (especially Sakuya) treat her poorly.

** I'd count Conrad Verner as well, especially if he survives to ME2 and you play a renegade.
