* Antepiece: A sidequest in Lair's Berg has Angel teach you that electric barriers can be shut down by shooting at their power switch, which is conveniently just positioned behind the barrier, open for a shot. While this simple quest teaches you how to shut the barriers down, you will find more electric barriers in the later parts of the game, but with their power switches being located far from the barrier, requiring some corner-checking and Backtracking.

** Invoked in one early sidequest in Lair's Berg. At one point, a required fuse is placed behind an electric barrier. Claptrap suggests ridiculous methods such as running through the barrier fast, but Angel tells you to shoot the generator instead to remove the barrier.

Bonus Boss was renamed by TRS

** Master Gee, a BonusBoss from Captain Scarlett's DLC, will not attack you if you hide behind a rock by the entrance to his arena. Considering the battle is won by having him take a damage over time effect that lasts the whole fight, he can be beaten by merely waiting for him to die.

* BonusBoss: Completing each product's story mode unlocks a special fight against one or two ridiculously strong foes. Unlike the first game, each of these bosses require a payment in Eridium in order to be fought against. The game lampshades how difficult each of these instances are by telling the Vault Hunter to bring three friends beforehand:
** The main game has Terramorphous the InvincibleA beefed up Thresher fought in a zone below "Thousand Cuts" called "Terramorphous Peak", costs 8 Eridium units and Vermivorous the InvincibleA beefed up Super Badass Varkid fought in any zone where Varkids can spawn en masse such as Caustic Caverns or the Varkid Ranch of Tundra Express, the conditions being the player playing in True Vault Hunter Mode, the Varkid reaching the last evolutive stage, and this stage not being Super Badass Varkid; luckily it has no Eridium cost.
** Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty has Hyperius the InvincibleA beefed up Hyperion Engineer fought at the "Washburne Refinery" level, costs 8 Eridium units and Master Gee the InvincibleA beefed up Pirate fought at the "Hayter's Folly" level, also costs 8 Eridium units.
** Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage has Pyro Pete the InvincibleA beefed up version of the regular game's boss Pyro Pete, fought in the "Pyro Pete's Bar" level; the fight costs 8 Eridium units.
** Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt has Voracidous the InvincibleA beefed up Stalker fought in the "Candlerakk's Crag" level which costs 8 Eridium units in order to be fought and Dexiduous the InvincibleA beefed up wetland drifter fought by lighting up four totems in the "Hunter's Grotto" area, each totem has a cost between 21 and 27 Eridium units.
** Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep has the Ancient Dragons of DestructionFour elemental dragons fought at a secret chamber located in the "Lair of Infinite Agony" level called "The Winged Storm"; accessing this battle costs 20 Eridium units.
** The Headhunters DLC Sir Hammerlock vs. the Son of Crawmerax has the eponymous monster, The Invincible Son of Crawmerax the InvincibleA beefed up Craboid and a CallBack to the first game's own BonusBoss Crawmerax the Invincible, fought in an enclosed arena in the DLC's "Wam Bam Island" level; entering the battle costs 20 Eridium units.
** Finally, Commander Lilith and the Fight for Sanctuary has Haderax the InvincibleA beefed up Sand Worm á la Leviathan from Captain Scarlett... fought in an area located past "The Burrows" called "Writhing Deep"; he's summoned by using 20 Eridium units in order to turn on a sound amplification system.

** Allowing a Goliath or an iron golem to level up to GOD status will give you an enemy with raid boss-level toughness that may take all of your bullets to bring down. Similarly, Vermivorous the Invincible is a BonusBoss in Mook Clothing that you can choose to create in any location with Varkids in True or Ultimate Vault Hunter mode.

* AdaptationInducedPlotHole: A mild example. If you tip Moxxi enough she will give you the gun "Good Touch", which she says at one point is her favorite gun because she can use it's secondary function (vibrating) for her ADateWithRosiePalms "alone time". If you play on a device with haptic feedback such as a controller with rumble pack, the controller will vibrate as long as you have the gun equipped, something which obviously can't happen with non-haptic devices such as keyboards and mouses.
