He eventually ends up going alone, and the film he sees is a spoof of ''Film/Batman1989'' in which the titular character's bat motif refers to baseball bats rather than the animal. The subversion is in the fact that the name is written the exact same way as Batman's name is written in Japanese, making this also an IncrediblyLamePun.

* The ''Manga/YuGiOh'' manga has Sory and Panazonic, and [[Anime/YuGiOh the anime]] has "[[UsefulNotes/AppleMacintosh Lemon]]'' computers. It also briefly features Cora-Cola and Znickers bars.
