** And Fizz. He's the cutest sea critter in the league that bears a strong resemblance to [[WesternAnimation/LiloAndStitch Stitch]]. But then... [[ThreateningShark "SHARK!!"]]

** In [[VideoGame/MassEffect1 the first game]], [[HotScientist Liara]] and [[WrenchWench Tali]]. Liara is a socially awkward archaeologist that has never been in a relationship before, and can scatter enemy troopers like papers in a hurricane and crush tanks like tin cans. Tali is NaiveNewcomer that, similarly to Liara, has never been in a relationship, but can shut down your shields, make your weapons explode, and poison your nervous system with a few taps on her omni-tool.

** [[KidAppealCharacter Tails]]. In case you don't know him already, he's a young two-tailed fox who likes to invent things and also likes to go on adventures with his bestest buddy [[TheMcCoy Sonic]]. Take this moment from ''VideoGame/SonicAdventure2'', for example, right after Eggman traps Sonic in a space pod that is set to explode upon launch (though he escaped thanks to using Chaos Control with the fake emerald) and Tails having witnessed it all:

** Eevee and all its possible evolutions, being adorable fox-like creatures. Sylveon of Gen VI in particular immediately gained this reputation once people learned of its type and what it's capable of doing. That badass Garchomp you're holding? Sylveon will eat it and ask for seconds.

* May from ''VideoGame/GuiltyGear'' isis a cheerful little pirate girl who fights by swinging an anchor about her own size. Bridget may also qualify [[WholesomeCrossdresser if you're into that sort of thing]].

** Polka, a sweet young teen with [[IllGirl an unspecified illness]]. Her [[ParasolOfPain parasol is a powerful weapon]], and she has some good magic in her arsenal.

** The Inklings are a species of VoluntaryShapeshifting teenagers that can transform between squids and humanoids with tentacles for hair, small fangs, and racoon-like eyes. The hottest sport in the Inkling world is called Turf War -- which, were it not for [[NonLethalKO Non-Lethal KOs]], would effectively be a BloodSport. As such, most Inklings are trained wielding a variety of [[AbnormalAmmo ink-based]] weaponry, including {{Sniper Rifle}}s, [[GatlingGood Gatling guns]], and [[ArtAttacker giant paint rollers and brushes]].
*** Even among the Inklings, special mention goes out to [[VideoGame/{{Splatoon}} Agent 3]] and [[VideoGame/Splatoon2 Agent 4]], both of whom have, on separate occasions, managed to single-handedly take down an entire army of octopus invaders and their powerful robotic war machines.
** The Octarian forces are comprised mainly of WaddlingHead-like octopus tentacles that control miniature tanks and show no fear on the front lines ([[CowardlyMooks well, most of them]]). The more elite troops are made up of the humanoid Octolings, who closely match their Inkling counterparts in appearance, abilities -- and yes, asskicking.
** DJ Octavio, the Octarian leader and series' BigBad, is a giant octopus who is actually rather cute, and [[FunnyOctopus very humorous]]. Nevertheless, he can still put up a fight from his HumongousMecha while [[FreakyElectronicMusic laying down spicy beats]].

*** [[VideoGame/SuperSmashBrosUltimate He is the only survivor]] after an EldritchAbomination [[KillEmAll turns every other character into a spirit]].

* ''VideoGame/{{Shantae}}'' is an adorable young adult girl who also happens to be a very powerful half-genie. How badass is she? She was able to defeat [[spoiler: the Pirate Master]], who was merely sealed away by all the remaining genies. Shantae, as a half breed, was able to ''permanently kill him''! If that wasn’t enough, she also managed to defeat [[spoiler: the Empress Siren]], an entity described to be more black hearted than Risky Boots who had been only stripped of her powers before, and even after [[spoiler:absorbing the essences of Plink, Vera, Zapple, Harmony, and Rotty, along with Risky’s soul]], Shantae succeeded in permanently killing her as well!

He had help) while battling and defeating the three commanders of said fortress. Following that he flew out into space (did we mention [[BatmanCanBreatheInSpace he can breathe in space]]) and fought upgraded versions of previous bosses (and Kracko) to reach an even bigger flying fortress and destroy that one, after defeating the leader of the cult he's been hunting. Then he beat the ever loving shit out of [[spoiler:the dark god the cult was trying to summon who was implied to be ''connected to at least [[UpToEleven half of the aformentioned abominations on his kill list!]]'']]

** Taken UpToEleven in [[Anime/MegaManUponAStar the three-episode OVA]], which is made of this trope. Adorable chibi robots, Roll looks so cute in that kimono... [[SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome Did Proto Man just hack a missile while it was in flight?!]]

** Pikachu, in ''VideoGame/PokkenTournament''. The way he crosses his arms and scowls, it looks like he's trying to imitate [[VideoGame/{{Tekken}} Heihachi Mishima]], and looks all the cuter for it. The similarities to one of ''Tekken'''s poster boys doesn't end there, though: he can also use a handful of Mishima-style Karate techniques. While Pikachu in the main series was generally of this trope, this one takes that UpToEleven.

** Thirty years before being a snarky pirate in Dark Dawn, Eoleo was a dorky toddler with BlindingBangs who could wrap his [[NeverMessWithGranny great-grandma]] [[CutenessProximity around his little finger]] and ''[[GooGooGodlike blew up Alhafra's prison with his mind]]'' to rescue his daddy.

* If you are going to call Mazzy, the halfling pseudo-paladin from ''VideoGame/BaldursGate II'' this, you're well advised to do it somewhere where she can't hear you.

* ''VideoGame/BlazblueCrossTagBattle'' is like a ''WorldOfBadass Adorable''. On top of Noel, Makoto and Platinum, you also have [[VisualNovel/XBlaze Es]] from the Blazblue side of things. VideoGame/UnderNightInBirth brings Orie, Vatista and Mika; and the guest characters, [[VideoGame/ArcanaHeart Heart Aino]] and [[WebAnimation/{{RWBY}} Team RWBY]].

* The four main protagonists of ''VideoGame/EarthBound'', adorable young children who take on an EldritchAbomination to save the world. Paula, in particular, stands out with her cute bow.

** [[spoiler:Princess]] Julia Bahara from ''[[VideoGame/FireEmblemJugdral Genealogy of the Holy War]]'' is a PrincessClassic with a high amount of {{Moe}} ([[https://web.archive.org/web/20190710173817if_/http://i43.tinypic.com/1zwn1qq.jpg See her here.]]), [[TheWoobie who's very shy and somewhat depressed (she's usually depicted as crying. A lot.)]] Mind you, she's a GlassCannon stat wise, and would be that way but usually she's got one of two weapons, one is her trademark "Resire" which makes her practically invincible, the other is a stacked GameBreaker- as she is already, her [[InfinityPlusOneSword Infinity Plus 20]] Tome, Naga, which, increases her stats by 20 (ignoring the {{Cap}}s, oh and that tome? It fires a Dragon at her hapless foes.
** And there's plenty more in the [[VideoGame/FireEmblemTellius Tellius canon]]: Queen Elincia, Mia, Mist, Sanaki, Ilyana, Rolf, Marcia, Nephenee, Astrid... Take your pick!

** T3's SpiritualSuccessor in ''Videogame/StarWarsTheOldRepublic'', T7-01, definitely counts. A cute little astromech droid [[ReallySevenHundredYearsOld who hasn't had a memory wipe for at least two centuries]], considers himself the true hero of the story (partially justifiable, considering that [[BeenThereShapedHistory he had front row seats to the start of the last war]]) and is the first astromech droid who had his language translated -- and he is speaking in equations! That is the first companion character a Jedi Knight gets. [[BewareTheNiceOnes He is a tank]].

* The VideoGame/{{MOTHER}} series is full of this. The main trio in [[VideoGame/EarthboundBeginnings the first game]] are cute little kids, the [[VideoGame/EarthBound second game]] has four of them, and ''VideoGame/{{Mother 3}}'' has Lucas and Boney.
** The fangames ''[[VideoGame/CognitiveDissonance Mother: Cognitive Dissonance]]'' and ''VideoGame/{{Mother 4}}'' have this as well, with a hat wearing Mr. Saturn in ''Cognitive Dissonance'' and the three kids of ''Mother 4''.
** Most of main party from ''VideoGame/{{Mother 3}}'' belongs here (To an extent, even Duster, thanks to the art style). Lucas is a shy and kind young boy, Kumatora is a cute but brash and tomboyish young princess, and Boney is an adorable and devoted dog. They also fight tons of freakish and powerful monsters in their quest to restore peace to the Nowhere Islands.

* ''[[VideoGame/{{Onmyoji}} Onmyōji]]'' has a chock full of this which comes in the form of children, starting with one of the main characters Kagura. Some of them manage to be both this and [[CreepyChild Creepy Children]].

* ''VideoGame/{{Ori And The Blind Forest}}'': Ori. A young forest spirit willing to show kindness to others but still a force to be reckoned with.

* ''VideoGame/{{Touhou}}''. Quite a ''lot'' of the Girls of Gensokyo are [[{{Moe}} really, really cute]], and they all either have [[SuperPowerLottery crazy powers]] or plenty of [[BulletHell danmaku]] with which to protect themselves.

* ''VideoGame/TheWalkingDead'' has Clementine, an 8 year old girl who is nice to almost everyone she meets and learns how to fight for herself with the help of Lee Everett. She starts [[TookALevelInBadass taking levels in it]] around Episode 3 of the [[VideoGame/TheWalkingDeadSeasonOne first season]], and has grown into one by the beginning of the [[VideoGame/TheWalkingDeadSeasonTwo second season]]. In fact, it is Clementine that William Carver considers his biggest threat. By ''[[VideoGame/TheWalkingDeadSeasonThree New Frontier]]'', she's a teenage girl who's fully capable of kicking grown men and walkers's asses alike.

*** Tsubasa Oribe a [[CuteClumsyGirl Cute Clumsy]] GenkiGirl who can get excited over the smallest things. She's also very handy with a spear and won't hesitate to pierce enemies with it.

*** [[VideoGame/KirbyAndTheForgottenLand After being transported to an entirely different world]], he tore through armies of [[UpliftedAnimal sentient animal-like creatures]] including Dedede (who was BrainwashedAndCrazy), eventually meeting up with the leader of the clan and took him down. [[spoiler:He also fought against an [[AliensAreBastards a malevolent alien]] related to the [[FairyCompanion tagalong companion, Elfilin]], and once it fuses with Elfilin, it becomes more powerful. Luckily, Kirby was able to defeat it by the combined efforts of Elfilin and inhaling [[BigBadassRig a truck]] to take it down. That's right, he took down an EldritchAbomination '''''with a truck.''''']]

** Blaze is every bit as cute as the other examples here, but if you mess with the Sol Emeralds, she will burn you to death.

** The cleric, Ophilia, also qualifies. She is a soft-spoken sweetheart, but underneath her modest demeanour is one of the strongest resolves of the eight protagonists, having experienced loss of loved ones in her life. Good thing too, because she has to deal with [[spoiler:a {{cult}}]] on her journey that [[spoiler:successfully convinces her adoptive sister that they can bring her recently-deceased father BackFromTheDead if she helps them corrupt the Sacred Flame with a GodOfEvil's power]].

* ''VideoGame/{{Rayman}}'' and all his friends. His [[LoadsAndLoadsOfCharacters many, many friends]] (even if most of them are just glorified {{Palette Swap}}s).
