** Another awesome and powerful moment for the human race is that from what we briefly saw of Singapore's skyline, London (before it's destruction), Paris, Kuala Lumpur's Peronas Twin Towers, and Dubai's Burj Khalifa was that we were able to rebuild all of our beloved monuments within a span of '''14''' years (reconstruction efforts began right after the first War which ended in 2010), to see us feeble humans rebuild old timers such as ''Big Ben'' and the ''Palace of Westminster'', the ''Thames River Bridge'' and the ''Houses of Parliament'' from London, the ''Eiffel Tower'' all of which were built back in the 1800's (which took longer to build back in those times), from the oldest landmarks such as the Dome on the Rock in Jerusalem, the St. Basil's Cathedral in Moscow, the Namdaemun Gate in Seoul, to the modern ones like the ''London Eye'', and many others exactly as we last saw them from our memories right before their tragic destructions within that timeframe thanks to alien technology being repurposed takes a lot of dedication and hard work, to see these beloved monuments rise once again would have been seen as an ImpossibleTask and humanity succeeded.

** New Washington or more specifically the rebuilt Washington, D.C. The city was one of the first destroyed in the War of 1996 and was reconstructed after the war. The city in 2016 looks ''incredible'', like D.C. in our time would look like sixty or seventy years from now. Alien technology has allowed monorails to criss-cross the National Mall (even in front of the White House), hovering TV screens surround the Capitol Building (which has been rebuilt with a thicker and shorter dome, a different taller frontal design and a multinational display at its base) and immense skyscrapers are visible throughout the city.

It absolutely dwarfs the previous mothership, is the size of ''the entire Atlantic Ocean'', has its own gravity, and literally drops Kuala Lumpur on top of London without deploying a single weapon. Oh, and it's powerful enough to tunnel into the Earth and suck out the molten core.
