* ''Anime/DigimonUniverseAppMonsters'': Haru has a crush on his female classmate Ai, yet he also has a lot of HoYay moments with his best friend Yuujin.

** Davis/Daisuke Motomiya has a blatant, albeit one-sided, crush on Hikari and is shown to be very jealous of Takeru's close friendship with Hikari. Despite this, he has a LOT of HoYay moments with Ken Ichijouji (even when the latter was still the Digimon Emperor), even if a lot of them are thanks to the nature of Jogress Evolution, such as being able to hear Ken's heart. When Ken gets kidnapped, the two characters who show the most concern for his safety are Wormmon and Daisuke!

** Veemon seems to have a crush on Tailmon/Gatomon [[BigLippedAlligatorMoment which comes out of nowhere, lasts for about 10 seconds and is never brought up or mentioned again]]. But the way he talks to and acts around Daisuke really makes it seem like he considers Daisuke something more than just a friend...

** Izumo Kusanagi has a decent amount of ShipTease with Seri Awashima in the anime, but starting late in season 2 and into the post-series short stories, he's having some with Reisi Munakata as well. Not to mention his [[spoiler: previous]] close relationship with [[ThreesomeSubtext both Mikoto]] ''[[ThreesomeSubtext and]]'' [[ThreesomeSubtext Totsuka]]...

** Caesar Zeppeli from ''Manga/BattleTendency'' is shown to be TheCasanova in his EstablishingCharacterMoment. However, he's also implied to have a crush on Joseph, and the two's interactions with each other have a large amount of romantic undertones.

** Izumo Kusanagi has a decent amount of ShipTease with Seri Awashima in the anime, but starting late in season 2 and into the post-series short stories, he's having some with Reisi Munakata as well.

* ''Manga/LuckyStar'': Konata of ''Manga/LuckyStar''. Her room is covered in posters and figurines of moe girls, she talks about Miyuki's breasts (in a joking manner?), she is obsessed with adult dating games (but girls like those too... right?). She seems to have massive picture archives of moe girls classified into different fetishes on her computer, seeming to include pornographic images as is hinted at in one episode. She definitely admires the female form. She and Kagami seem entangled in some sort of [[BelligerentSexualTension love-hate]] [[PseudoRomanticFriendship quasi-romantic relationship]]. Konata, after Kagami give up her seat to her at a concert, seemingly touched remarks, "What is this feeling?" Konata seems to have only ever had female friends despite having interests which should win her plenty of male attention. On the other hand, Konata enjoys working at a CosplayCafe where she claims to enjoy the attention of the male customers whom she says are "kind of like" her boyfriends. She also seems to mention wanting a boyfriend (maybe? hard to sort out the exact words she used. might've been "lover". It was more of a daydream thing anyway where she imagined herself as several ''VisualNovel/DaCapo'' characters before being swept off her feet by a bishounen [and therefore ambiguously male] version of herself). She also commented that she doesn't really like giant robot shows for the action but just thinks the bishi characters are hot. Whether she's talking about the bishounen or bishoujo character is not clear, though, as she seems to be watching ''Anime/CodeGeass'' when she makes the comment.

* ''Manga/SailorMoon'':

** Yoichi acts interested in the Serapuchi comics when he sees the girls skirts get flipped up by the wind and in the fanbook asks Yuu if he also thinks Mitsuba looks cute in civilian clothes. He also has HoYay with Yuu and Kimizuki.

** Yuu has ShipTease with Shinoa but also has an obsession with protecting Mika and being close to him. He also comments that Yoichi looks 'seriously good' in casual attire. It's also not made clear if his response of "Shut up" when asked which type of girl he likes is him acting in a {{Tsundere}} way or if he just simply doesn't like women that way.

** Suzaku has a canon love interest in Euphemia, and flirts with Lelouch quite a bit. In one of the extra "Q and A sessions" with the characters, Suzaku is asked who the most important person in his life is. He answers he can't choose between Euphie and Lelouch.

* ''Manga/BlackLagoon'': Revy acts as a ClingyJealousGirl to Rock, and once hinted at a possible past sexual experience playing the man's role to a group of women while in prison. She claims, whether truthfully or not, to [[SexGoddess have been so good]] that the women couldn't achieve orgasm with their fingers anymore. She then threatens to make Jane her sexual partner if she keeps trying to rope Rock into an orgy.

* ''Anime/LittleWitchAcademia2017'': Akko has a good amount of ShipTease with both Andrew and Diana. She's a very friendly person in general, but she blushes around Andrew a couple of times, and is a bit of a CuddleBug with Diana after they become friends. She also almost kisses Sucy in episode 10 and shows no hesitation about it, being more concerned about taking her first kiss than the idea of kissing another girl (granted, the kiss was to give Sucy [[KissOfLife the medicine needed to save her]] than a romantic one).

* ''Anime/LittleWitchAcademia2017'': Akko has a good amount of ShipTease with both Andrew and Diana. She's a very friendly person in general, but she blushes around Andrew a couple of times, and is a bit of a CuddleBug with Diana after they become friends.

* Tsukushi and Kazama from ''Manga/{{Days}}'' are both explicitly into girls but have heavy HomoeroticSubtext with each other, even for a sports series. Kazama gets happy just remembering Tsukushi's smiling face (not soon after they met at that), he gets [[BerserkButton easily offended]] when people say things about Tsukushi, they hug quite a bit, and Kazama even [[spoiler:thanks his mother for giving birth to him because he met Tsukushi]].

** Bravat comments on the feminine features of a busty woman and Elizabeth's more flat chest, implying that he likes [[BuxomIsBetter well-proportioned women]], but also acts ambiguously-[[HoYay flirtatious]] to Sebastian and calls him pretty. There’s also his implied devotion to Ciel.

* Graham Spectre from ''LightNovel/{{Baccano}}'' tends to come off like this. His utterly massive man-crush on Ladd Russo, his [[NoSenseOfPersonalSpace complete disregard for the personal space]] for pretty much every male he comes in contact with, offhand comments about other men's attractiveness ("Firo, or whatever his name was... Who could have expected such a cute face to ever be capable of such [[{{Fingore}} horrifying cruelty?]]"), and ''then'' there's that thing he seems to have for Jacuzzi ("Should I let this woman go in deference to you locking up my heart?"), which peaks when he waltzes up to Jacuzzi entirely unprovoked and declares "I like you", [[https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/justmakeoutalready.jpg while cocking his head as if he were about to kiss him]] before telling him he has free access to his warehouse and wandering off. But he also expresses some interest in Chane, claims that he [[LikesOlderWomen likes older women]], and he [[AllThereInTheManual supposedly]] has a thing for [[BrotherSisterIncest his own sister]]. He's [[{{Cloudcuckoolander}} a total nut]], so who knows.
* ''LightNovel/BakaAndTestSummonTheBeasts'':
** Hideyoshi is flustered whenever he's forced into the girls dressing room, suggesting that he may be attracted to women. While he's annoyed by all of the male attention he gets, Akihisa included, there are occasional hints that he may like Akihisa as more than a friend, which pushes him into this territory.
** Akihisa's borderline obsession with Hideyoshi, which, while seemingly excused by his confusion over the latter's gender, is made rather ambiguous by the occasions when Akihisa admits that he knows Hideyoshi is a guy. He's also quite touchy-feely with both Yuuji and Kouta, which is once again always played for laughs and is a CluelessChickMagnet (though he occasionally shows interest in the girls who like him).
* Suruga of ''LightNovel/{{Bakemonogatari}}''. Despite declaring herself a lesbian, she seems to have a number of lewd ideas involving Koyomi.

* ''LightNovel/{{Durarara}}'':
** Izaya loves humanity. In the light novels, Izaya thinks that Mikado is "humanity itself!" He also directs other HoYay towards Mikado and has told a girl trying to kill him that he loves her and jokingly comments on her becoming his "girlfriend". He also comments to Celty that he's not turned on by her disembodied head (like Seiji is) or her headless body (like Shinra is) implying that he is turned on by regular full-bodied women with her head in place in general.
** Mikado has a [[{{Yandere}} psychotic devotion]] to Kida and Anri and is mutually fascinated with Izaya.

* ''LightNovel/TheFamiliarOfZero'':
** Julio is canonically in love with Louise, but may or may not also have an interest in her boyfriend Saito as shown when he tells Saito whether jokingly or not that he loves him and wants to kiss him as well as Louise.
** Kirche is very fond of both Saito and Colbert, and she seems to like Louise and Tabitha as well.

* ''Anime/GirlsBravo'': Miharu is clearly in love with Yukinari but also has an ambiguous LesYay filled relationship with Koyomi, including groping her while both are in the bath and calling her beautiful. She also had a psychotic female admirer that she has no interest in.
* ''LightNovel/GoodLuckNinomiyaKun'':
** Hinako. On the one hand she seems to like, whether jokingly or not, to flirt with and harass Shungo but also appears to like to SkinshipGrope Mayu (whether or not it's out of genuine interest or because Mayu is a succubus is never made clear).
** Ryoko. While it's not made clear if they're dating, Ryoko and Mikihiro are often seen [[BattleCouple battling together]] and often spend time together and get along quite well. What's more clear is that Ryoko has a [[LesYay crush on Reika]] what with her molesting her despite her protests and dragging her off for some "alone time".

* ''LightNovel/HaruhiSuzumiya'':
** Itsuki Koizumi seems to like [[NoSenseOfPersonalSpace invading the main male character's personal space a little too much]] in the anime, and in the novels especially he makes it quite clear that he trusts and likes Kyon. He claims to act the way he does because Haruhi expects it and would make it real if he didn't, which would be a plausible explanation if he actually did do so while Haruhi is watching. In the 4th novel [[spoiler:his alternate universe self admits to having a crush on Haruhi]], but this isn't brought up in the main storyline - although many of his actions and words towards Haruhi, especially his constant claiming of being "the expert of her heart" imply some secret affection for her. Whatever the case may be, Itsuki's bond with Kyon could be seen as a fumbled attempt at a bromance or an actual romance slowly developing.
** Haruhi Suzumiya herself. She makes it very clear right from the start that she doesn't care about the gender of the one she is with, as long as he or she is not an ordinary human being. She doesn't seem to have been dating girls though, but perhaps that was simply because only guys confessed to her. Kyon is the only person she's shown any real interest in, but also likes to SkinshipGrope Mikuru (whether it's out of genuine interest or not remains to be seen).

* ''LightNovel/KyoKaraMaoh'':
** Sara flirts with everyone especially with Yuuri and both the girls and the [[EvenTheGuysWantHim guys]] want him.
** Conrad is implied pretty heavily as having been in love with Julia when she was alive, but he also has a lot of [[HoYay homoerotic subtext]] with both Yuuri and Josak. [[spoiler: Doesn't help that Yuuri is Julia reincarnated]].
** Yuuri actually seems appreciative of the HoYay he receives from his male comrades (and especially gets ShipTease moments with Wolfram whom he's accidentally engaged to be married to) and even seems to reciprocate some before responding with his usual [[HaveIMentionedIAmHeterosexualToday "I'm heterosexual"]] comment.

* Sachiko from ''LightNovel/MariaWatchesOverUs'' has an extremely strong relationship with her friend Yumi that is [[HideYourLesbians all but confirmed]] to be romantic. Despite the fact she DoesNotLikeMen, she apparently has had feelings for her [[KissingCousins male cousin]] in the past.

* Hikigaya Hachiman of ''LightNovel/MyTeenRomanticComedySNAFU'' is definitely attracted to girls (he isn't averse to enjoying the eye candy surrounding him), but he's also definitely attracted to his [[DudeLooksLikeALady girly-looking]] male classmate Totsuka Saika, often blushing and spacing out around him even after [[UnsettlingGenderReveal learning his true gender]]. This initially gives him mixed feelings, but he seems to get over it in time.

* ''LightNovel/{{No 6}}'': Possibly inverted. When [[spoiler:Safu]] tells [[spoiler:Shion]] she wants to have sex with him, he is taken aback because to him they are JustFriends, but gets flustered at the idea and pledges to do it with her when she comes back from studying abroad. Of course, this gets derailed entirely when [[spoiler:Safu AscendsToAHigherPlaneOfExistence]], and [[spoiler:Shion]] appears to be much more infatuated with Nezumi anyway.

* ''LightNovel/{{Toradora}}'': Minori admits [[spoiler:she's in love with Ryuuji]], but her affection for Taiga is so suspect that Minori herself isn't quite sure if it's platonic or not. She even makes an off-handed comment during the cultural festival wondering if she's more into girls.
