Etheru: Huh, didn't expect this page to be brought back, ah well.

Gamer From Jump: I didn't recognize all the "alternate turtle" slides, though I did notice a red-mask set (like from the NES game), the 90's movie set, the CGI movie set, what looked to be a Japanese anime set, and a set of chibi Turtles. That was great.

castaghast: 2003 Shredder didn't have a Xanatos Gambit, he had two different plans, one right after the other. The first plan was to take over the 2003 universe. The second plan was to kill the Mirage Turtles, and took precedence over the first plan, as he realized the first plan would never succeed so long as there were turtles somewhere.

DoKnowButchie: Deleted, moved, or edited the following tropes, for reasons explained below:

Bad Ass Normal: Properly belongs in the individual series’ pages, since it’s not a movie specific detail.

Body Horror: The transformations are not explicitly seen, which means it doesn't qualify for the trope.

Canon Discontinuity: Lack of acknowledgment does not Canon Discontinuity make, particularly since the Next Mutation is its own canon separate from any other incarnations. At most, its absence—and the absence of any other particular incarnation—can be considered a Take That! by omission, and even that is stretching it. Likewise, the "Red Sky" seasons can not be considered to be Canon Discontinuity without also considering every comic book after TMNT #1 to also no longer be canon.

Continuity Cameo: A continuity cameo is when a character appears in a continuity he or she does not normally belong in. Irma and the pre-mutation Bebop and Rocksteady do belong in the original toon continuity, therefore their cameos do not qualify.

Daddy's Little Villain: a) This aspect of Karai was not specific for the movie. b) Karai’s defining characteristic is that she is not evil like her father; it was never there to be subverted.

Evil Laugh: Spoils the joke.

Fridge Brilliance: Natterful speculation—moved to Wild Mass Guessing

Grand Finale: Even if people could agree on where in the original toon timeline Turtles Forever would take place (and circumstantial evidence overwhelmingly points to it been set sometime between seasons 2 and 7), the fact remains that the movie does not significantly alter the show’s underlying paradigms the way a Grand Finale, by definition, must. By that same note, it cannot be a Grand Finale for the franchise.

Heel–Face Revolving Door: Given that it tracks Karai’s arc through the entire show, the example should be in either the main show page or the character page.

Let's You and Him Fight: Not a subversion.

Make My Monster Grow: Unnecessary amount of detail.

The Napoleon: Properly belongs in main TMNT 2003 or character page.

Stop Helping Me: Example is in no way even remotely related to the trope.

Title Drop: Trope does not apply when the title comes from “a central character, setting, group […]”, as explained in the trope page.

Took a Level in Badass: Square Peg Round Trope—the example better fits Power Creep, Power Seep than this one, since the power increase is usually noted within the story.

Chabal 2 What would the trope be for the "Ever since the explosion, New York hasn't been the same" line by the pre 9/11 turtles?

Did anyone else notice that while the 2003 Turtles were powerless against 2003 Shredder, 1987 Turtles actually managed to hit him a few times?
