Kendra Kirai: Yeesh, it took like four tries to get Petopeto-san the way I'd done it in other entries...I finally had to look at the editing page of one of them to remember to put the curlybrackets around it. I suck.

Krid: Shade Tail isn't quite a technical pacifist, as a technical pacifist has no problems beating the crap out of people within certain restrictions on how; the only creature she's ever harmed had previously killed off her family and almost everybody she ever knew, and was about to kill off more of her loved ones. The only thing technical about her pacifism is that it doesn't hold up in situations where Ghandi would have long since started brawling.

Ununnilium: Took off the last sentence on the EGS entry 'cos it really doesn't pertain to Cute Monster Girl.

Andyzero: Oh! The dragon mother in Dragon Half really does transform? My bad, I missed that. I always thought her father had relations with her scaly form. I guess I'm the weirdo.

Daviot: Question: Would the Jotuns of Norse Mythology qualify? Typically, the male frost giants were portrayed as gnarly and monstrious, but the female giants were quite comely, which led to quite a few of the Aesir marrying them.

Qit el-Remel: Coco, from the new Gargoyles comic series, is based off of a European wild pig—not a "warthog."
Sparkysharps: Dragonborn females are a case of Non-Mammal Mammaries, not Cute Monster Girl. I know that these usually go hand in hand, but female Dragonborn are just as hulking and lizardlike as their male counterparts. I'll put the entry here

  • Also, in Dungeons and Dragons 4th Edition, with the Dragonborn. It's as if the only way Wizards of the Coast's artists know how to depict female characters is by adding breasts.

BlueFox: Moved Bagi to Anime section, since it's an anime movie
Amplt0: Removed the Fire Emblem entry. It was, almost in its entirety, a rambling non example. Yeah, female cats are cat girls. Note however, that the male ones aren't any more monstrous. Just because there weren't any female lion or tiger characters in the games doesn't mean that there aren't any female lions or tigers; we haven't seen any, that's hardly an excuse to claim that they're both one gender species. In fact, you can't even say that all male tigers are beastlike in human form; look at Kyza. The rest was just needless rambling that amounts to "the other female shape shifters are pretty. Also so are the males".
I'm not seeing how this figure "brings new levels of Squick". —Document N
Daibhid C: I'm not sure about this Voyager example:
  • The Vidiians suffer from a disfiguring disease called the Phage, but strangely the Doctor's love interest Denara Pel still retains some of her facial good looks. At least more than any other Vidiian we see.

I'd need to rewatch the episode, but my recollection is that she spends most of it with her mind dowmloaded into a holographic simulation of what she'd look like without the disease. I don't recall her actual form being less disfigured than most Vidiians (although, ICBW, in which case, since the point of the story is the Doctor convincing her he loves her whether she's hideously disfigured or not, it's a Broken Aesop.)

Garbonzo42: Can someone with at least a basic grasp of Japanese see if there is a gallery on the site for the Moe Pokemon mod site? Google translator is next to useless for that.
