Mr Death: Ah what the hell, Janitor? We're trading in a well known and common running gag on the character for a crappy picture? Come on.
Preserving the deleted material here. I don't think it's fair to say "the joke doesn't work" when it got a Made Of Win and had so many people contributing to it.
Janitor: I moved it to the Quotes page. It's too long, folks. The funny wears off pretty fast after the Rule of Three is satisfied. I guess we could try it on the right, but the article has to get to a point faster than this sequence is permitting.
Mr Death: Ah, okay then. I was mostly concerned that it was just deleted outright. I'm fine with it being on the quotes page, I suppose it's just a bit of a berserk button for me when running gags and the like are suddenly deleted.
Edit: Hey, how about we do something like the Running Gag on the Final Fantasy series and add each quote to the page it came from? Most of them have their own pages now, after all.
