"Cripple" sounds too negative, "differently abled" is way too PC imo. Other than that I got nothing against using it, since it's always better than "cripple", but it'll probably annoy a lot of disabled people. A neutral term is probably the best option. Which means, stick with "disabled". Anyway, the Daredevil example also applies to comics. * A recurring element of ''ComicBook/{{Daredevil}}'' is other people showing Matt things or treating him as if he wasn't blind, only to remember he actually is. He always takes it casually. His radar and other hyper-developed senses are so effective for everyday tasks that he often forgets he still has to look like a normal blind person.
