When deciphered, it turns out to be instructions from the Icelandic alchemist Arne Saknussemm on how to make the title trip. * Sir ArthurConanDoyle's ''TheLostWorld''. While traveling in the Amazon, Professor Challenger acquires the knapsack of a wandering artist named Maple White, who encountered and explored the title LostWorld. Challenger uses native legends and artwork left in the knapsack to find the place, which he names Maple White Land in the artist's honor. [[AC:TabletopRPG]] * ''CallOfCthulhu'' supplement ''Fragments of Fear'', adventure "Valley of the Four Shrines". While an investigator is reading through a CthulhuMythos tome, one of the endpapers comes loose and several papers fall out. They turn out to be the journal of an explorer named Mannheim Dorffman and a map of his travels. The adventure involves the Investigators using them to travel to the title location.
