The first part of the fic is more an introduction; the second part is where the fic truly shines in emotion and heart. The space trip could have been used as just a plot gimmick, but it turns out to be much more than that here, as it becomes clear that the journeys America and England are embarking on aren't just physical ones. Both characters are superbly characterized (especially England, with all of his hidden emotions and insecurities) and there's a real, profound sense of bridging distances between the two at the climax that puts the 'heartwarming' in Crowning Moment Of Heartwarming.
