Just in time for Christmas (this was found, read, and added here on the Christmas Eve / 09), we have this very delightful poem. Written completely in rhyme and narrated by England, this fic takes a fairly common holiday premise and handles it beautifully. The Aesop gets mildly subverted at several points, but still leaves you kinda warmed in the heart while being genuinely hilarious. The part with the Gilbird-driven paper-mache sled was definitely This Troper's favourite.
