It's okay.

The comic seems to have a lot of potential. The art, while still fairly awkward and stiff at times, has some rather impressive improvement. Some characters' designs work really well, like Campy and Lupin. But, atleast to me, some characters are sort of an eyesore, like the neon red Bruce with super-saiyin yellow hair, or his dad's pink spectacles that magically stay in place somehow, sometimes it almost seems like they are from a different comic entirely compared to the other character appearances.

Story wise, again, it has potential. The high school romance and drama can be pretty interesting, such as Campy's story of his crush on Kale, where I was genuinely on edge. But the dark and mysterious arc involving dreams and transformations and conspiracies among the adults, and black spooky demon fox things and swordfights in the battle of the mind... that all just seems like it doesn't belong in a comic like this. I'd rather the artist simply choose whether he wants a dramatic adventure story involving mysterious government projects stealing babies and omg everyone's in on it, or a simple comic about high school drama with a little focus on Kale's ocd and trouble being the last of his kind. Having it go back and forth like this is jarring and distracting, especially considering the "real" over-arcing story involving the mask character seems to be going absolutely no where, while there is so much focus being put on the supporting cast.

All in all, I'd say this is a pretty good furry comic, but this Kudzu Plot that keeps popping up sort of makes me feel hesitant to call myself a real fan just yet.
