Dishaster is an arcade action game developed by Zimag and released in 1983 for the Atari 2600. In the game, the player takes the role of a female circus performer who must participate in the usual Dish Dash act of keeping plates spinning on top of poles. The player must also move to catch dishes that stop spinning and fall from the pole before they hit the ground.

Tropes:

  • Action Girl: The game's main character is a female.
  • Dish Dash: This one makes an entire game out of the act of keeping plates spinning on top of poles.
  • Endless Game: The game only ends if the player allows four plates to drop.
  • Video-Game Lives: Subverted. You technically have one "life" but you lose it once you let four plates fall.
